I think I want to be buried here. A lovely and serene place. A variety of sculptures are placed throughout the grounds. On one side, there is a green, lush pasture with grazing cows. On another side, the most beautiful aspect of this cemetery -- the prayer garden. It was larger and more pleasant than I expected. There is a lovely little pond and a trail that passes multiple family plots. It has that magical hidden-from-the-world feeling. I neglected to take photos since I wanted to avoid photographing any gravestones. Why doesn't every cemetery have a prayer garden!? This cemetery serves all faiths. Oh and they offer GREEN BURIALS (sign me up). There's no official parking lot -- you just find areas to pull over. There is a slightly larger area to pull over by the portable toilets (by prayer garden entrance). Cemetery hours are dawn to dusk, daily. The official hours listed here are for the office, which has limited hours and is closed on weekends. Office staff is very friendly (I called to confirm hours).

There were some gravel pathways and and some statuary that were very pretty. Behind the graves there was a prayer walk way with headstones, chimes and figures dedicated to St. Francis of Asisi. There is no real parking lot to speak of but you can park on the gravel near the opening of cemetery. Also, there are no real bathrooms here. There is a port o potty but it's super gross so be aware to take care of that somewhere else.

My best friend chose cremation for his child and the room for the viewing had projector screen for videos and sharing of the deceased life through a slide show. They also have it setup where you can play music through a laptop through the speakers in the room. There was a podium available so everyone who wanted to good give their speech and say their last words about the deceased. I definitely thinking about choosing this place for my future plans, it was very convenient and close to my home where I live in the area. Access to the facility from toll 130 is very easy to access no matter which side of the frontage road you're on. I will say parking is a premium if you have a lot of visitors for a funeral here. Over all great experience here visiting. I will recommend that the staff get a little technical savy. That was the only flaw that caught my eye.

The entire lot was full and I ended up parking in front of 5 cars- which turned out to be fine, but I just felt a low grade, mild dose of anxiety feeling bad for the cars I parked in front of during the event. FYI- Show up early and get a real parking spot. Or, if you have to leave early or don't want to be trapped, park somewhere else. It is directly behind the Palm Valley Lutheran Church which is a historical building. All the graves are very well laid out and ordered primarily into family burial plots. There are acres of old headstones , recent ones and some waiting to be interred in their future plot. There is a single paved lane that runs through the center of the cemetery dividing the old and the new graves. I'm sure many of these headstones belong to the Who's Who of Round Rock and local history. This is still an active cemetery and I found several recent graves from 2022. There is also more room for additional plots on the back side should you decide this is the place to be your forever home. The church had a historical marker, but I did not see one for the cemetery. The pictures in this review don't fully capture just how beautiful this place is.

She is a veteran and the service officer at the local VFW POST. This is very beneficial for me being a disabled vet. She also discussed a lot of other veteran options and paperwork for the headstone and cemetery plot.
