When I checked my account a couple of hours later there was a $9.47 charge for the gas. I will contact Chevron to notify them of this outrageous behavior. Just spoke with manager who was very polite. He explained the process and that I must of needed more gas than I thought I would and that would explain the cost. I didn't know the amount pumped because I was not offered a receipt! I appreciated the quick and courteous call from the manager!

The woman at the pump also knew it would happen before but didn't tell me that until afterwards. The bank told me they couldn't cancel the charge and it was on shell's end.
