This specific Chevron location is the exception. It is easy to find, clean, feels safe, and has a very nice attendant (as seen in photo). He is helpful without hovering, and pleasant. I also like the music playing here, on outside speakers. Another bonus is you can punch in your Safeway phone # to receive discounts on gas per gallon.

I stop by more frequently for drinks or snacks than anything else. They have almost any beverage you can think of and and your typical gas station snacks. The cashier is always attentive and will let me know if they have something new he thinks I will like. As far as getting gas goes, you kinda have to plan out your enter and exit strategy before you enter the lot. It is a pretty tight squeeze. The attendant is always super friendly with a smile on his face.

It's very small with 2 islands. My gas tank is on the left and I was trying to get to the one that made sense, except two vehicles took up that space and not enough room to get behind them. So I pulled up to the pump that was on passenger side, thinking the hose would reach. There wasn't an attendant to tell me otherwise. Which irked me because I hate to pump my own gas..spoiled Oregonian that I am. I came from a state where you pump your own..I just prefer not to. Anyways, I put my debit card in, and now I need to remove hose and select the grade. And then I couldn't get the hose to reach! I wasn't sure what to do, but I'm sure I did the most unsafe thing. I placed the hose on the ground, got back in vehicle and turned it so the gas tank was next to the pump. I pumped my gas. I selected to receive a receipt, which said it was printing, but I never got it. From now on, I'm getting gas close to home, and making sure I have enough gas before trekking to parts unknown!

Since I was past the point of price shopping, this Union 76 Service Station was in direct sight and convenience. The Station seemed a little dark and tattered when I pulled in. I was ready to "gas and go", but soon remember that this was Oregon and that I needed "help". The attendant had just stepped inside (for a what I assumed was a comfort break) and initially seemed a little defensive about what he called my "2 minute inconvenience" after I tracked him down. I immediately thought of my lovely wife Gayle, and stayed friendly, relaxed and empathetic. My Dad also used to run a service station back in Iowa, and I haven't forgotten where I'm from. He dropped the attitude quickly and we ended up having a nice chat as he was filling up the tank in a very professional manner. I also kind of agree with the guy that the owner of this place might want to invest a little more into his property regarding overall curb appeal. Located in the little strip mall you will find this little Chevron station. While it is smaller than some of the bigger gas stations there is a small little convenient store located inside. The station attendant is fast and friendly. He seems to really like his job and I can always get in and out of here very fast. The store is clean and well stocked like your average smaller convenient marts. They also take Safeway points here which could get you some discount on gas. I have always put Top Tier Gas into our vehicles when I can. This helps keep the engine cleaner and is supposedly better for your car.
