I love this gas station. The stone around the polls and the walls make it seem like you're near a mountain range! It's a great look. Everyone is very friendly here. I love that it's dog friendly as well, even though my dog is too small to hook up outside and leave her alone I just usually carry her in, but it is a great alternative for those who have bigger dogs. read more

The nicest people ever at this station, always kind and helpful. The station is clean actually spotless. Manager is super sweet and goes out of her way to say hi and engaged with customers. I swung in there the other night to get gasoline at about 8:30PM. I sat and waited for awhile, while the clerk was inside the office doing something. Pretty soon another car pulled up behind me. The attendant finally came out and started working with both of us. Just as I was getting ready to leave another car pulled up and the attendant said "Where are all these people coming from?" I think he was trying to close up and couldn't get his paperwork done before nine. Oops. read more

I will admit that I'm a little biased. I live just up the hill and am a daily visitor. The polite, professional staff at this impeccably spotless hangout is diverse and excellent. The sparkling convenience outlet was not built on the cheap. Pay a little more and be thankful there's a place this clean west of Zurich, Switzerland, where the granite floor of the train station reflects your face. I am writing to do my civic duty on Yelp! by taking out the trash and setting some things straight. Read Lisa A.'s post. She has openly accused two employees of overcharging her credit card, of offending her dignity with substandard service, of committing the offense of "looking like some bouncer" and "adding insults" that spurred our spunky go-getter to contact the LOPD. They told her to go away. That turned her on. Read her last sentence. It's a self-proclamation of force and might running nakedly amuck, lost in the trembling thrills of ecstasy that she gets from her power to pen gas station owners with the blessing of our understandably bewildered police force. Bless their hearts, they walked her through what normal people of lesser means do in conflict but who lack the skills to do what we do and what makes Lake Oswego...well, Lake Oswego. We approach the other party, gain a rapport, an understanding, and an agreement. Lisa A. is Lisa A. because she has no clue what to do other than show off. Here is my problem: when someone displays such frighteningly low limits of intelligence and then uses what little brainpower they possess to try their best to make up false accusations, show off, and basically reveal the very worst of human character without knowing it....AND IS IN OUR COMMUNITY... take action. I live right down the street from this Chevron, it's my go to gas station several times a week. Today I went in to get snacks and drinks around 4:30 p.m. I gave the cashier $30 and said put the rest on 8. I went out to my car and the pump attendant asked which kind of gas and I said regular. I got into my car and checked the machine which displayed over the amount I gave her, I was confused so I was about to go back in but she had came up to my window yelling at me saying I was supposed to tell the pump attendant the amount but I was never told to do so. I've never had to do that, usually it just automatically fills to the amount I give them. Maybe I missed something? Or if it's because I moved from Washington to Oregon so I'm not used to others pumping my gas or if it's because I usually pay with card, regardless her behavior towards a customer was disgusting and embarrassing. She proceed to take pictures on my license plate and car, threatening to report me and stated I've done this before when this is the first time I've seen this employee. Usually the staff is really friendly but this girl should be fired. I personally think she messed up while ringing me up because she looked puzzled when I told her to put the rest on 8 after already ringing up the other stuff. Either way she could have easily communicated more properly. I was a regular there but not anymore. She made me feel so uncomfortable after that. Especially considering I was going to to go inside and ask why I got more gas than I purchased. I'm mind blown and the disrespect. People like her certainly shouldn't work with the public if they cannot handle confrontation especially if they are the ones instigating it. Blaming customers rather than taking initiative of their own mistakes is not the way to excel ones occupation. Treating someone like a criminal for no apparent reasoning or even explanation is a horrible portrayal of Chevron as a company. I called that location shortly after filing a complaint with corporate and asked to speak with the manager but the same cashier answered and said one wasn't available. She tried to say she thought she saw me there before doing the same thing that's why she acted like that, still giving no apology. I understand mistakes and miscommunication happen but she blatantly made accusations based on false judgment. Again she should have approached me properly and asked before making a scene over nothing. I've never dealt with such horrible customer service or felt so attacked that I'd never come back to an establishment or even compelled to leave a negative review. It's unfortunate because it's literally .3 miles from my house and is honestly the nicest gas station I've seen, which is weird to say but they made it really nice in there, they should hire equally as nice of people to fit the criteria. read more

SCAM ALERT!! I went by the other day with my daughter. Asked Nate Tatum, the manager, for $25 regular on my credit card. One of his female attendants, Nicole, fills the tank up for $47 and change. When she handed me my receipt I told her I clearly asked for only $25. She immediately, as if she had a memorized script for this, said there is nothing they can do about the mistake and that Nate always repeats back what the customer asked for....therefore I was not listening!! Nate was as nasty and rude as they get in his white t-shirt and shorts standing there like some bouncer at a club. The two girls just stood there adding their own insults to my daughter and me and told us if we have a problem write Chevron.....oh Nicole my dear I will do that, and write the owner and the BBB as the Lake Oswego Police suggested I do when they were called. read more

I will NEVER ever get gas (or anything else) here again. They SCAMMED me yesterday afternoon. I have been here a few times and the service is usually pretty poor, but I have always stopped out of convenience and understood that I would be in a for a little bit of a wait. Yesterday, I got gas in the afternoon. It was slow, per usual. When one of the two attendants working finally came over to sell me some gas I asked for him to fill my tank with regular. He repeated back my 'fill it with regular' instructions. As soon as my car was done, he gave me the receipt. I immediately noticed that he had gone ahead and sold me supreme, which was about 25 cents more per gallon. I tried to call him back, he ignored me. Finally, I got the attention of the other attendant, and when I politely explained to her the situation she said that they couldn't do anything for me. It was my own fault...too bad. She said that maybe if I drove back the next day that a manager might be able to help me out, but that really i would just be wasting my time. read more
