This is the worst gas station for service I have ever been to. If you pull up to the "mini service" area the only "service" you will get is sitting waiting in your car for 5+ minutes with no help and then awkward eye contact as you hobble out of your car, grab your crutches and hop around the car to fill it up yourself while the two employees inside just stand around talking to each other. And no, even after seeing you on crutches, neither of them will even came to the door asking if they could help. Not the first time I've experienced similar poor service here either. Great spot if you need to run in for a snack and get out in the late night. Not sketchy and seems to not have the lingering creep factor. I run around late at night so I do appreciate the gas or snack shops where you do not have to encounter a bunch of people who linger for whatever reason. This location also seems t be kept up with the cleanliness factor - it is sad that saying, wow I do not have to step over glass and cigarette butts but here we are and this spot seems to be kept clean too. I hate leaving bad reviews, but this gas station continuously makes mistakes and is overall dysfunctional. I have asked to be filled with $20-$25 on two seperate occasions and they end up filling me to full and only say, "Oops. I thought you said..." Not only is this gas station consistently higher than its competitors, but to be told that there is nothing there can be done to remedy their mistakes is truly frustrating. My parents have been also given the wrong type of gas before as well, so it is not only me with bad experiences that I have not experienced elsewhere in this state. I do not want to call out specific workers because that it immoral, but this specific Chevron needs drastic improvements with its workers. read more

My family normally always uses this station #1144 whenever we drive to Portland for business. We are always treated so well, and their rest room is literally sparkling clean. In general I have had mediocre at best service from this convenience store/gas station. This is due to the attitude of the majority of the customer service personnel. This sentiment has been shared with most people I have discussed this topic with. There is one employee who makes up for her lack luster co-workers . I'm not sure what her name is but I believe she is the only female employee. She is friendly , knowledgeable, and acts like she actually likes helping customers. Her coworkers could learn quite a bit on how to treat people if they spent a few minute watching her interact with customers. When courteous customer service is the norm at a business I wouldn't take the time to write a review but when there is such a vast positive difference in the customer experience when she is there I believe needs to be recognized. Never again will I take my business to this location. I live closer to the Fred Meyer fuel Center and choose to come here. But after today and being told that I'm not going to get my $20 plus that I paid for and instead I am having to pay for their mistakes. I understand it's not going to ruin my gas tank situation but it's the principle if somebody pays for $20 plus and the gas attendant messes up, I should still get my $20 plus, that's what I paid for not get gypped on the type of gas that I paid for due to their m as up. Lately I have been passing on Dutch Bro's and Coffee Rush to get a coffee at Chevron...of all places! I fill my cup 5/6 of the way to the top with a chocolate macadamia nut brewed coffee and then top it off with one of those latte mixtures that come out of the machine. They have a white chocolate caramel on one pump and a chocolate toffee on another that are so good! And half the price of a latte at an espresso drive through. Think about it! Oh and those little techrons they have running around in your tank doing good things to your engine is also a bonus! read more

I don't own a car, but I do get thirsty when I walk around my hood. This Chevron is always there for me to get my fountain drinks or drinks in bottles. They also sell snacks, hot dawgs, other misc stuff that you might need when you drive around or if you are staying at one of motels along SW Barbur area (yes this area has lots of motels). Very friendly staff @ this service station. I say that because... For those who are not from or used to Oregon: They pump your gas for you in OR. Can be a bit unnerving but if it's pouring rain it's kind of nice...I do wish they had a way to tip the Petroleum Technicians however as it seems odd not to. Anywho, I've only remembered to check in here once, but I usually drive the extra few minutes for this particular Chevron due to the fine folks who "wait" on your vehicle's energy needs. read more

I did not buy gas. I walked into the store to grab some quick breakfast since I just moved into the Headwaters apartments and I didn't have anything in my fridge. The clerk was such a sweet lady, she deserves ten stars. I was pleasantly surprised on how clean and well stocked the store was. Excellent customer service. Prices are reasonable for the area. Never jam-packed except at rush, which is ordinary anywhere. (Worked plenty of gas stations in my time.) This is one of my favorite places to get gas and gummy bears. The staff are always friendly and the service is fast. My wife and I had a date night last that started with a trip to the Chevron for supplies. My wife needed a beer and a bar of Chevron's finest chocolate to get her in the mood if you know what I mean. Very polite I really like the people that work there. This Ethan guy below me says they charge for a bag, that sounds made up because i get offered free bags when i buy multiple items even small stuff. As far as the other comment, idk man. Did you cut the power and go in with a blue light? lol. My only complaint is an employee that works the night shift, this bald dude with a long reddish beard, he has the audacity to ask me if i want my pennies. I went here to fill up my tires and their air pump is horrible. I could not get it to connect well to my tires and lost more air than I put in.
