Yes, it's faux french and they go to rather obvious measures to make it seem very French, including hiring supposedly French staff, but that doesn't really matter to me. Why? Because Cafe Rouge offers decent food - I've never had a bad meal at the many branches I've been to - as well as a relaxed atmosphere and good service overall at a fair price range. This particular branch is on a corner, which seems to have the effect of making it one of the larger Cafe Rouges I've been in. Even when it's busy it never feels too claustrophobic and the lighting and ambience is usually pleasing. Everything I've ever tried has tasted good, even (and especially) the chicken and steak baguettes as well as the tartes. I'm quite happy to count Cafe Rouge as one of my local restaurants and I'll gladly be going there on a regular basis for some time to come. Mais oui!

There were 4 of us and wer found seating easily enough. It would have helped to have had a "seat yourself" sign, but the staff was friendly and let us know when we inquired. Once we found our seats and chose our desserts, some of our party went to the counter with our orders. The place was clean and tidy. The music was on the loud side and it would have been nice not to need to raise our voices to be heard across the table. It did take some time for us to get our orders. Fortunately we weren't in a hurry. Just about the time I felt like prodding one of our party into asking about our order, it arrived! All of our desserts looked amazing and not one of our party was unhappy with their choices. For what it is, I think this is a neat little place. I wouldn't have a problem going back, but definitely don't be in a hurry when you go in.

I couldn't find ANYTHING about the manufacturer nor the business that I'm writing about here. The tin can was made in China. The Biscuits Made in Spain. The reason WHY I bought this, because I've been to Spain and I love their biscuits, while visiting Spain. ANOTHER reason why I bought this, the tin can is the perfect shape, size to store my craft, filing my 1 1/2" square fabrics. Negative: The biscuits were awful! Lot No. L13276-3M. Best before: June 30, 2014. It was eaten before Feb. 2014. I didn't want to just throw it away, but I brought it @ work, and it was gobbled up by the ladies there, who'll EAT ANYTHING! I did brought back home the tin can. I started to store & file my fabric, but the top portion of the lid falls inside, that I have to fish it out and re-shape the bottom section of the tin can.
