HORRIBLE SERVICE! I took my Honda in for service. Got a WRITTEN estimate. When I went to pick it up, my bill was $300 OVER my estimate! And, NO...I did NOT authorize any further work! I complained to them. They FINALLY wrote off the $300, which was never itemized. Needless to say, I have now found an honest, reliable mechanic to fix my Honda. I will NEVER take another car there again. Very disgusted...What happened to honest work? read more

As always great service and awesome service. Thank you Josy for making the process easy and smooth!

Couldn't have asked for better service with Unicars Honda. The staff is always welcoming and friendly and helpful from start to finish of purchase. They make the process as simple as possible. Gabriel Rosales, Tony (Anthony) Bojorquez in financing (sp on last name may be wrong), have been so awesome to work with. I also want to give a huge thanks to the Manager Mark for helping with all the deals. I recommend Honda Unicars 100%. read more

Jeremy in the service department has been very good to me. My car was jolting and at times would go into limp mode. The first time I brought it in they determined the issue was a valve adjustment and it ran me about $800. Well a couple months later the car was doing the same thing and I was concerned something had gone wrong with the valves again. I was able to bring it back to Jeremy who told me I would not be charged for the new diagnosis. It turned out adjusting the valves only partially solved the problem, i needed my transmission flushed and my TCM updated. Jeremy decided since this was not caught during my original visit, he would not charge me for these services either. Lastly he determined my turbo filter was so dirty that it wasn't breathing so he replaced the filter which would normally cost about $90. Jeremy kept his word and covered the charge. I have never felt so grateful. Jeremy cares about his customers and always looks at the whole picture. I feel he really understands how frustrating car maintenance can be for a customer and works hard to make it as convenient and affordable for us. You can always count on Jeremy to provide the best service for your situation. 10/10 read more

I was very happy with the service. I got the usual oil change but also had my headlights adjusted and picked up an owner's manual, which I needed. And it all got done on time! read more

Update:I haven't had any issues in the past, but for some reason this visit was different. The receptionist who receives the calls for the service department has the worst attitude. Another service advisor tried charging me for my oil change, even though I get free oil changes from Unicars Honda since I bought my car from them. Overall, it was an OK visit. My service advisor Josh M is the only reason why this place is getting 5 stars from me today. No hassles and offers awesome customer service. I'll keep you updated on my visits with Unicars Honda. read more

Excellent experience! All the individuals I encountered were professional and took their time explaining my situation.

Don't go here. Instead of trying to work a deal they Concentrate on closing there store. And Don't go to the salesman Justin he doesn't Know how to do his Job, Don't guarantee a first time buyer a sale unless Your 100 percent sure considering we told you we have $1,000 down plus a trade in. But you guys wanted 3,000 cash on a first time buyer with No Bad Credit is ridiculous. Plus the finance manager was not trying to negotiate and was wanting to close the store instead of make a deal. So first time buyers and Desert people go anywhere but here... read more

Unicars Honda - Auto Repair Near Me - Indio, California

Great fast service with an appointment

Unicars Honda employees are great! They made my purchase of a new Honda Accord Touring easy and fun in dealing with them. No High Powered typical Sales Techniques just proper questions and thoughtful answers. I wound up paying quite a discount for my Honda and received a quick finance arrangement as well. They were all great: Ozzie, Fave, Mark, the entire crew. MANY THANKS GUYS! I will definitely give you a chance when I upgrade my PU. The Ridgeway looks about right for me. See You. read more

Went to Unicars Honda for a headlight replacement. Requested just a headlight replacement was advised by Customer Service Rep they would need to run a diagnostic check for 160.00. I declined. Was told they could replace it for 35.00 agreed to replace headlight from the auto tech. I was immediately called back by the same customer service rep that the headlight repair would now cost over 1,000.00. I declined service. Can't trust this dealership by their word. Always trying to squeeze as much as they can out of you super disappointed. I'm selling my Honda. Ill only buy American made Tesla vehicles now! read more

Took my 2019 Honda Insight in for an oil change and tire rotation. In and out within 45 minutes. For a Honda dealership this was a record for me. Honda service department staff was courteous and helpful. Nice job! read more

Thanks to the assistant service advisor, Gus Acevedo for the great customer service. He is a big asset to this dealership. - Aaron G.

Honda gets the stars; great car, but be very careful dealing with these guys. Shaking hands on a deal means nothing here; READ THE FINAL DOCUMENTS BEFORE SIGNING as numbers on one piece of paper do not necessarily appear on the next. AND remember they are going to try to hit you up for an alarm system after a deal has been agreed upon. They are selling a terrific product, but are very sneaky. Not a pleasant experience. I see from your reply, Linda, that you are still ready to give a sales pitch rather than deal with the issues of honesty and integrity that are raised in the review. Perhaps you should read it again. read more

Love my CR-Z and my experience at this dealer has been terrific. Curtis, my salesman was very knowledgeable about the car and treated me with patience and respect. My Mini was at a body shop (someone ran into it) and they traded it sight unseen which I had not expected. I had done a lot of research when I went there so I knew the numbers. The finance guy was a pain, but aren't they all? I paid cash for the car but they still put you through the thousand questions and try diligently to upsell you. You have to know what you are doing when you buy a car and when you are willing to walk out the door, but I liked these guys and LOVE my car!! PNJ read more

I took my car in for an oil change, tire rotation and recall. When I dropped off my car, I asked how long it would take and they told me about 3 - 5 hours. They said they would call me when it was done. I waited about 5 hours and heard nothing. When I called them they told me the car was done. I got ready and left and was a block away when they called me again and said that my car wasn't ready and that they didn't even have the part for the recall yet and that they would need another day to get it finished. When they called me the next day and I went to go pick it up they were kind of rude. I asked about getting the visor fixed and the guy rudely said that's not my job you'll have to call parts. I got home I realized that the back tire which I just replaced was still in the back how could they do a tire rotation if the tire is still in the same spot. I think that over all this place needs a lot of work with communication, customer service and actually treating the customer with respect. This is not the first time I've had a bad experience with the service department. Overall I dread getting services here but I always go back because of the lifetime guarantee of free oil changes. ` read more

Awesome customer service yesterday forgot the name of the employees for service department but great job

Service Department is Great! Sales Department is another issue. I would not trust the Sales Department long enough to hold my lunch while I tied my shoe! Tried to lease two Honda's, an Accord Hybrid and an SUV CR-V. Sorry to say I was very disappointed in the way I was handled. I was glad to get out of there with my wallet still in my back pocket. I do not recommend buying a car from this dealership unless you are very Savvy with the "ins and outs" of buying and leasing. Check with Edmunds.com or Jerry Reynolds at CarPros.com to get expert advice before you buy! read more

I highly recommend Unicars Honda to all prospective Honda buyers out there. The service that I received from my salesman, Norman, has been second to none. I went to at least 10 dealers looking for my vehicle and I just happened to be in the area (I'm from LA County) so I stopped by and was served by Norman. Even though I did not purchase my car that night, I decided to call him back the following week and drove 2 hours down to pick up my car. The decision was mainly because of the service I received and Norman and team earned my business the right way. Since I didn't leave the dealer just shy of midnight, the Manager and sales team said that I could bring the car back because they were only able to wash it and not give it a full detail on the paint. I communicated with Norman after I purchased the car to schedule an appointment to bring it back and he was very responsive and understanding when I had to make changes to the appointment since I live quite far. Miguel, the detailing manager, did a fantastic job on the car! Shout out to him. If you ever need a Honda, look for Norman and the rest of the sales team! read more

Absolutely the WORST car dealer on the planet. When we purchased our vehicle the dealership sucked, the only reason why we come for oil changes because they are free for the first 3. Been waiting over 3 hours in the lobby for them to be done with a simple oil change and nobody cares, keeps saying 15 more minutes. This happens everytime. There are other Honda dealers in the Area, GO THERE!!!!!!! read more

I needed three new hubcaps on my car and although I thought I had an appointment somehow it was not showing up in the system. Just had the best experience with a salesman here, his name was Nelson. He was not pushy, he was informative, and pleasant. We were just looking so we didn't buy, however he had no problem walking around with us in 118 degree weather. I buy a lot of cars often, truly the best experience I've had. read more

Enjoyed a fantastic service experience today with service advisor ANTHONY FRANCO! I came in this morning with a very minor issue, without an appointment, and even though the department was packed with customers, Anthony treated me very well and did not make me feel any less important than a customer with an appointment! He greeted me warmly with a smile, like I was a friend, and immediately contacted a worker nearby to go to my vehicle right away and bring it into the service garage. I was so pleased with his kindness and attention, and he really should be given kudos! This is not the first time I have been served by Anthony, either, but I just never got around to "yelping" read more

These guys are crooks. I went in to buy a Honda HR-V. I found the one I wanted for $24,715. They added 10% for tax, title and license and gave me $4000 for my car as a trade in. I said work up a loan. They came back with a payment of $775 / month for 36 months to finance $23,186. This seemed high to me but I didn't have my load calculator with me. This information was written on a sheet of paper. I said thank you, I will compare this to other offers. Can I have this sheet of paper with the quote. The manager said if I was not going to buy it today, I could not have the paper. Furthermore he had my car keys so I couldn't leave until I gave the paper back. He later said that he added $45/month for the 100,000 warranty that I did not want. When I got home I did the calculations and the payment should have been $669 per month. So there was still $55 / month unaccounted for. I will never buy anything from this place ever, they are crooks. read more

Got a car there, it was fine. But what I hated was the customer service after. People are rude, they don't care because they already sold you the car. People with leases get tickets from other owners that are currently buying the car you leased or are leasing it etc. So upon going there to fix those kinds of issues especially people who speak mostly Spanish, are looked frowned upon. So yeah, I sense a little prejudiced in this area, never going back again. read more
