Marcos was are sales person and chris was the sales manager i have to say these people are the worst i wish i had yelp at the time to see these reviews we ened up leasing a civic instead of buying an accord cause they said that it would help our credit and in 3 yrs to buy the car we wanted witch we were ok with 7 days later they call and say we have a problem and we needed to come back in to resign but now to buy the civic witch we didn't want to buy in the first place. Then we were ok with just giving the car back if that was the case but the finance guy edgar said to us " I WILL FORCE YOU TO TAKE THE LEASE DEAL IF YOU THINK YOU CAN BRING THIS CAR BACK. I agree with the other reviewers....don't waste your time with this dealership. First of all the facility is a huge open expanse of glass and tile with a few hi-top tables scattered around. It is a cold, hard place which seemingly is designed to put people off their game. We were seated at one of the tables, and salesman finally came to speak to us. We told him we were interested in purchasing a new 2014 Accord EX-L in the next week or so, but we wanted to take a test drive first to make sure it's the right fit. He took us outside in the 105 plus heat and sat us in the car, but he went back inside to "get the key." This fucking asshole didn't come back! We saw him helping a new prospect! We decided to leave that horrible place, walked right past him on the way to our car, and he made no effort to stop us or talk to us.....he acted as if it was all good. I recommend that every person on the planet who is considering buying a Honda, which is an outstanding car by the way, do themselves a favor and stay clear of this dealership. read more

Tried to lease two Honda's, an Accord Hybrid and an SUV CR-V. Sorry to say I was very disappointed in the way I was handled. I was glad to get out of there with my wallet still in my back pocket. I highly recommend Unicars Honda to all prospective Honda buyers out there. The service that I received from my salesman, Norman, has been second to none. I went to at least 10 dealers looking for my vehicle and I just happened to be in the area (I'm from LA County) so I stopped by and was served by Norman. Even though I did not purchase my car that night, I decided to call him back the following week and drove 2 hours down to pick up my car. The decision was mainly because of the service I received and Norman and team earned my business the right way. Since I didn't leave the dealer just shy of midnight, the Manager and sales team said that I could bring the car back because they were only able to wash it and not give it a full detail on the paint. I communicated with Norman after I purchased the car to schedule an appointment to bring it back and he was very responsive and understanding when I had to make changes to the appointment since I live quite far. Miguel, the detailing manager, did a fantastic job on the car! Shout out to him. If you ever need a Honda, look for Norman and the rest of the sales team! read more

I have lived here 12 years and have pretty much driven Honda vechiles. Unicar Honda might have been good maybe 2 stars years ago. But not sure what has happened to them over the past 7 years . the service department will rip you off if you let them . Try to make up repairs . the sales and leasing people seem to be under trained and encouraged to be corrupt. My elderly parents became afraid to go back to unicars for any reason after buying a number of cars there. I have to say shame on Honda Motors for allowing such horrible characters to represent them. I still drive Hondas but deal solely with Honda of the Desert. So professional in every way. My last purchase was handled by Honda of the Desert in a professional manner by all. Service is great and I feel I can trust them . I live much closer to unicar Honda But travel to Honda of the Desert for peace of mind. i've held off reviewing my most recent 'service' experience. something about this place... last few times i've been there, very shitty service indeed. i took my car in for another routine service, oil change, tires rotated, etc. came in around 9 am and was told it would be about an hour and a half . After three hours and more I inquired at the desk and spoke with Angel, who immediately said I'm sorry, but they forgot.. Meaning they forgot to service my car after 3+ hours however, he did tell me that the oil was changed I'm not 100% sure since no other fluids were tend to my washer fluid was empty. My car was dirty as it was when I brought it in, so I never got a car wash my tires whenever rotated. This is the second time in a row. My tires weren't rotated at all. you'd think i would have got that service satisfaction survey they always send after service... but you'd be wrong, never got one, same thing last time. figure they only send them when they don't totally screw up the easiest thing, oil change. i am done going here, what's the point? is it the 'FREE' oil changes that cost $30 because they rotate tires? nope, since it's really not that free if you pay $30 is it? my main concern is if they are actually doing anything at all, beside looking at the car while it's parked out in the lot, because they sure ain't tending to it. read more

Love my CR-Z and my experience at this dealer has been terrific. Curtis, my salesman was very knowledgeable about the car and treated me with patience and respect. My Mini was at a body shop (someone ran into it) and they traded it sight unseen which I had not expected. I had done a lot of research when I went there so I knew the numbers. The finance guy was a pain, but aren't they all? I paid cash for the car but they still put you through the thousand questions and try diligently to upsell you. I came in this morning with a very minor issue, without an appointment, and even though the department was packed with customers, Anthony treated me very well and did not make me feel any less important than a customer with an appointment! He greeted me warmly with a smile, like I was a friend, and immediately contacted a worker nearby to go to my vehicle right away and bring it into the service garage. Got a car there, it was fine. But what I hated was the customer service after. People are rude, they don't care because they already sold you the car. People with leases get tickets from other owners that are currently buying the car you leased or are leasing it etc. So upon going there to fix those kinds of issues especially people who speak mostly Spanish, are looked frowned upon. These guys are crooks. I went in to buy a Honda HR-V. I found the one I wanted for $24,715. They added 10% for tax, title and license and gave me $4000 for my car as a trade in. I said work up a loan. They came back with a payment of $775 / month for 36 months to finance $23,186. This seemed high to me but I didn't have my load calculator with me. This information was written on a sheet of paper. I said thank you, I will compare this to other offers. Can I have this sheet of paper with the quote. The manager said if I was not going to buy it today, I could not have the paper. Furthermore he had my car keys so I couldn't leave until I gave the paper back. He later said that he added $45/month for the 100,000 warranty that I did not want. When I got home I did the calculations and the payment should have been $669 per month. So there was still $55 / month unaccounted for. I will never buy anything from this place ever, they are crooks. read more

At my appointment time of 945 this Monday morning there was a line out into the street just to check my car in. I didn't have 45 minutes to an hour to burn, so I left. I called later and rescheduled to leave the car just before noon, and did so with very little wait time. I do not Yelp that often, but I feel like my experience here is worth mentioning. There is a special place in heaven for Marcos Hernandez in the service department. I was driving from Arizona to California for job interviews when my 2008 Honda Cr-V decided to self-destruct on me. I got my car towed into the dealership and after a days worth of work I was able to get on the road and make it to Northern California for my two job interviews that week. Now, that is not the miracle part. The miracle is that I had $3,100 worth of immediate attention that needed to be addressed regarding the functioning of my car. Marcos was able to work with me to triage the situation and get done what needed to be done in order to get me back on the road ASAP. That included exploring multiple options, second hand parts, prioritize what was needed in the immediate timeframe, planning for subsequent visits, and financing options that allowed for payments in the form of cheaper installments. The reality is that I recently graduated and did not have $3,100 available. Marcos did what he had to do to get me on the road to my job interview and wished me luck on acquiring the job that would allow me to be able to fund the necessary repairs to my car at a later time. I am eternally grateful and would/will not hesitate to work with him again to get my car serviced in the future. read more

The service also included an inspection and a quick car wash. The staff were all very professional and the space was clean and air conditioned. A shout out to Unicars' service rep. Marcos and mechanic Aaron for a caring about and fixing my concern! I'm from the SF Bay Area staying at my vacay home and noticed a problem that I think my local SF Honda dealership should have noticed and told me about when I had my car serviced (15,00 mile service) there before the long drive down. My civic started "bottoming out" over speed bumps at home and through la Quinta area's dips when crossing intersections and entering commercial driveways. Marcos said my car was lower than other cars and would charge to put it up on the rack to diagnose the issue. I declined but seeing my concern, Marcos asked Aaron to test drive it with me. Experiencing the problem, Aaron said he would put it on the rack. I am truly grateful for their initiative and giving me a peace of mind. The problem was the metal and plastic shields were damaged and hanging down a bit. Unicars had the part in stock and fixed it. Unicar's driver, Mark, shuttled me home and back; everything went like clockwork. This is my second visit (and shout out) in a week (for a different issue) and I must say Unicars Service dept. is a well oiled machine, the oil being the staff!
