I live in Santa Monica and bought my Honda CRV 2021 last July. On the road out to La Quinta, just as I hit the 5000 miles on my car, my maintenance light went on. Since it was late on Saturday, I called and Unicars Honda scheduled me for 10 am on Monday. I went in ....for the first time ...gorgeous showroom by the way!.....and knew I had made the right decision to come here. The gentleman at the service counter, Frank, was professional, knowledgable, and friendly to boot! Great service and Frank has a great smile! And lovely showroom/waiting room! Got my car done quickly and I was on my way......now I know where I will come when I need anything for my Honda when I come out east on the 10. read more

Make an appointment for an oil change on the 7 at 9am, check around 8:40 I was okay on waiting couple of hours, but for me to he waiting until 11:30 is crazy and ridiculous and I live in Beaumont almost an hour away, the fact that my car wasn't even in the shop yet, I went to complain to the manger ( Carl ) and I gave them a call to make another appointment talk to (Carl) today and honestly what kind of manger say yep and yeah and honestly this is a shitty car place and probably never going back again read more

Brought my Honda Insight in to Service Dept on 10/20 at 10am for questions about the Tire pressure Sensor and the GPS Navigation. Service Advisor, Gus, recommended after some time to let the technician keep it overnight to continue testing the car which I agreed to. By 10am the next morning, he called me that the car was finished and ready to be picked up with the Sensor adjusted, no further GPS updates needed. No charges for services provided. Thank you, Gus. read more

I arrived early today, (1st in line) although with no appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. Jeremy Moreno said that my Honda service would take less than an hour. I patiently sat at the lounge, but after waiting 2 hours I approached Gus Acevedo. He took care of me immediately. Apparently, my vehicle had been ready but, I wasn't notified. Gus Acevedo was efficient, knowledgeable along with a good quality of customer service. Seek him, if you and your Honda needs to be serviced! read more

I leased a 2018 Honda Accord 3 years ago and had decided to turn my expiring lease on it into a BUY...... I really love the car...... I called the numbers on my monthly statement to ask how to do this and was always referred back toYOUR DEALER ! Unicars..... Ok......So I did contact them.....I have never been treated so rudely and lied to. The original salesperson was Elvira and NOW she is in Finance...... She didn't return my calls....... she requested mileage which I promptly txted her...... in speaking to her she told me I would HAVE to BUY the Honda Extended warranty for 3100.00 and GAP insurance for 895.00 and who knows how much my percentage rate would be...????? Rudely she said " these are our rules here " After not hearing back from her for a couple days I put a call into the finance Manager or at least that's what he said ( her boss) I got the same don't give a crap attitude from him. I REFUSE to have a gun put to my head to HAVE TO buy add ons.......that are so extremely inflated. So screw you Unicars Honda !!!!!! You will never see me again...... I got my car lease bought out with a low rate and guess what ?????? I got an extended Honda warranty plan from CURRY HONDA in MA. For 910.00 !!!!! Don't ever pay 3100.00 for extended warranty......this is the second time I have purchased an extended warrant from Curry...... such nice and respectful people and done over the phone in 30 minutes !! Buyer beware if you go to Unicars !!!! read more

I leased an auto and got ripped off. Spent 7.5 hours at the Dealership. No coffee, snack machine on Superbowl Sunday. Very pushy person insisted I get the car on that day despite my request to get it on Monday. I called the manager for 5 Days in a row sometimes twice a day and he never called back. OVERCHARGED for the vehicle. read more

Update: I decided just to come anyways, and ofcourse like normal they took right in. Jeremy was my service advisor and was the last time. It's because of service advisors like him is the reason I come back to Unicars. He gives the best recommendations and ensures all his customers are taken care of. I always use Unicars for all of my service needs for my Honda Accord, but after today's recent phone call experience I probably will never. I think it's the same lady who answers the phone, but she has the worst attitude. The service techs here always provide such excellent service, the same should be taught for the phones. She was rude and very short. I have always walked in, and people should be allowed for walk ins with emergencies like needing new tires due to having no thread. She stated no, there was no walk ins today without any explanation. Now, I have to go to America's Tires when I would of rather have went to Unicars. read more

This places is 5 stars hands down to the service boys props ; they were thorough with the parts that needed to be fix on our Honda Pilot ; Jeremy was the person that took care of the explaining and was completely understanding that I was on a budget and what needed to be taken care of first he broke down every single detail for me read more

I just bought a 2022 accord, 12k miles in and it fails on me. I called to get i check and they can't do anything until 2 weeks from now. So now I'm carless for those 2 weeks & have no way of making it to work since that's the only car i rely on. I bought a new car so I wouldn't be having issues and its been a nightmare. Also bought the insurance they offer and i did a claim it's been 1 month and I'm still waiting. Honestly if I would've known I would've gone somewhere else. Service department is rude and so are the sales persons i really don't recommend this place its been issue after issue. This is the second car I bought of them and and its been the same I'm done with this dealership. Like i said people save your time don't bother on coming here best advice i could give you. read more

Came all the way from Sacramento to purchase a car that they graciously held with a deposit for over a week. The car is wonderful, the process was quick, and no one was pushy. I've had lots of experience in dealerships and while I can't speak for the service side of things, the sales side was 10/10. Thank you Alphonzo for keeping in contact! Very important when I'm over 500miles away. read more

My husband called and scheduled my car to be looked at since I was having electrical issues, was told to take car in on a Friday to drop off so technicians could look at it Saturday. When we arrived to drop off was told that no technicians would be working on Saturday because they have 3 day weekends and class on Tuesday. We rescheduled for the following Wed and my car sat there from 7:45 to 5:00 and my car was not even touched plus no calls for updates. Took my car and tried again two weeks later and guess what same thing was given an appointment on a Friday and was told "I'm sorry but we don't have technicians over the weekend but you can drop it off and it will be looked at on Tuesday" yea, No I don't think so. I emailed their service manager and never heard back not an email or phone call so if you are told the service manager will contact you it won't happen. Terrible service and they are always passing the buck on who's at fault from blaming the ladies that schedule your appointments to the technicians for not being there. Went to Honda of the Desert in Cat City my problem was taken care of the day it was scheduled with TWO updated phone calls from their service department. Plus get this Honda of the Desert will text you reminders of your appointment! Will be purchasing an new hybrid from Honda of the Desert it's worth the drive to avoid any issues. read more

Manny & Anthony were EXCEPTIONAL! They were so attentive and didn't make me feel pressured into anything like people expect to be when they're looking to purchase a new vehicle. I will NEVER buy or lease car from here. Every staff from salesperson to service representative is very well trained to deceive you to pay more than you should. I went in for an oil change, which the finance guy told me it's all on them for 3 years when I leased my car. What they don't tel you is you have to pay A LOT for their recommended service in order to get free oil changes. For example, I took my car in for an oil change. I asked if it's going to be free 3 times. He did not give me an straight answer. I finally asked how much am I paying when I pick up the car. He finally said $130!! So if I paid for $130 worth of maintenance, he will give me the oil change for free. I asked what is included in "the maintenance." Apparently it includes tire rotation and two air filters! For $130? No thank you. You can buy the filters for $13 on amazon. Tire rotation for $30. Just do your favor and don't even think about doing anything to do with this place. My partner is very happy with his experience with the one at Palm Springs Motors. read more

Contacted dealership to cancel an appointment after reviewing my credit report which remains inaccurate. I tried to explain to the salesperson that it would be better to postpone the appointment to a later date. The salesman (George) rushed me out of the phone. Kept being belligerent, I was trying to explain what I was instructed because purchasing a car with my inaccurate credit would hurt me. He kept trying to insist and when I was about to finish the call he rush me out. I don't think I will ever be welcome there again if I get treated like that. Very disappointing. I am without a car since December when someone decided not to stop the red light. I will be sitting on the $ to buy cash.... read more

I am actually shocked to see someone else had a similar problem to mine only 14 days ago! Apparently his concern was not brought to the service department as promised. Today I sat on hold for 11 minutes. The service department didn't even let me get a word in before putting me on hold. And just when I thought I was finally going to talk to someone...they hung up on me. I literally heard the service department pick up my call and hang up. I tried to call back only for it to ring with no answer. It is so rude to just hang up on people that are on hold once it reaches 6pm. I understand the department closes, but have the decency and human kindness to manage the people you put on hold! I was returning a call and of course no voicemail message was made either, so I hopefully everything is alright. I get it, you're busy, but that's no excuse for rude business practices. read more

As a young adult not knowing the "ins and outs" of cars or even financing. I came here wanting guidance and hopefully a brand new car. Did not get that. Went there on a Sunday, January 14th and got a salesman who was completely unknowledgeable about the car I wanted. Constantly talked about himself, showed me a picture of his body from his phone (which could be considered sexual harassment) and not about what I wanted in relation to the car. He also showed my mom to the vending machine and proceeded to ask her if "I was single." Completely unprofessional and when brought to the attention of the superior, nothing was done in relation to wanting my business after something as disturbing as that. I waited for 2 hours to finally find out that the monthly payments were discouragingly high. The salesman did not try to make a better deal with me so I left. Chris, another salesman tried to help me via text and was very nice and when it came to making a deal he was talking about a lease on the car and not financing. I specifically wants financing and was confused to why he only ran the #'s for leasing. So, when I told him I could not do the lease he said that would be my only option. After that there was no further help. Long story short, if you want a car and to get really good and lower pricing, this place will not help you get there. Your best bet is going out of town towards LA where they will do anything to get your service. This place could care less if they got your business. Very happy I did not purchase a car through them. read more
