In store sub line still sucks and it's still slow, but if you pre-order on the app for pickup it's great 80% of the time now. They have basically everything from Swedish fish to club soda to bacon to those potato chips that you forgot you loved because you couldn't find them anymore !! Pick up a newspaper or magazine for the road or fill up your tank too while you are there. I love the ice cream and frozen pizza selection at the cashier. It's nice to know there is a store nearby if you forgot something. Parking is a breeze too in front or there is a little lot on the side where the gas pumps are. I love going and just walking around - pick up some beef jerky etc. I can't think of anything they "don't" have. The only downside is that they aren't open all the time or late even. I have driven there and they were closed in the past.. Cash is recommended since there is a $.50 swipe fee for credit card purchases. Today I made my LAST visit to WalMart in Clarion, PA, and my $200+/week business will be given to a…read moregood customer-oriented business, and not a huge corporation that hinders good customer support actions and remedies. In total, I have had $25 taken from me because of employee inattentiveness and/or poor company policy. On 1/22/25 I used a gift certificate from a friend for a portion of my groceries. On 1/29/25 I returned one of the items. The employee asked if I wanted the money back to my credit card or on a gift certificate . . . I opted for it to go back to my card. Over the course of the next week or so I kept checking the credit card postings to see if I had received the credit, but it wasn't there. What I have learned is that when you do a return, the WalMart computer system will always (per the unsympathetic and rude employee that I was seeking help from) put the money back on the gift card. The problem is that I, and most gift certificate recipients, throw the gift card away once the funds have been spent. You don't know you'll be returning something, and even if you did know, that would not normally be cause for worry. They tell me there is nothing they can do about it! WalMart MUST train their employees to LOOK AT the receipts for this type of issue! They can easily see there was more than one credit card, and then simply ask the customer which card they would like for the refund to be applied. All they say there is nothing that can be done about it, and when I asked them to please get WalMart to do something about correcting this problem, they simply shut you down...no further consideration is given or even attempted! This is completely unacceptable, and I choose to no longer do business with a company that knows there is a recurring issue, but chooses not to address it . . . after all, they're not out anything because of their incompetence!
