In store sub line still sucks and it's still slow, but if you pre-order on the app for pickup it's great 80% of the time now. They did cut the meat portions by like 50% in the last 2 1/2 years,forget things like the extra oil on the side, cut it wrong, forget toppings, skimp on toppings... here and there, but it's better than it was. Sushi: 4.5 stars out of 5. Filling portions have gone down some in the last 2 1/2 years, but quality is still good. It's rare to get old mushy avocado in their sushi now. They always have great new rolls to try. Staff are always friendly working that section too. Pizza: 3 stars out of 5. Staff really like to chit chat with the already snail slow sub station staff and take their sweet time. Skimpy on toppings. Not very good pizza especially in NY where we have amazing pizza all over. Deli: 5 stars Always well stocked with friendly fast staff and great selection. Butcher: 5 stars Always great cuts of meat to make the higher costs more worth it most of the time. Steak cost is out of control though compared to other local places. Always clean with friendly staff. Cheese section: 5 stars really great selection and staff. Flourist: 5 stars Perfect long lasting beautiful bouquets for every season and holiday. Produce: 3.5 stars out of 5 They are okay. Some things really don't last very long once you get them home especially the extremely expensive premade fruit trays and salads. Cashiers: 5 stars so fast and friendly in both sections now! Customer service desk: 5 stars great! Grocery pickup: 5 stars Always the best! So fast,accurate, and friendly. Pharmacy: 5 stars Always so friendly and knowledgeable! Beer selection: 5 stars Phenomenal HUGE rotating selections of local and imported beers as well as large great non alcoholic variety. They have beer on the shelves and a walk in cooler too. Shelf stocking staff: 5 stars Always organized, faced, and clean with a good variety. Stocked well 90% of the time and rarely anything out of date or damaged. Parking lot and cart staff: 5 stars It's so clean and debris free. Carts are always orderly as well as restocked quickly. Bonus: If there's ever a spill, broken glass, or garbage anywhere in the store or parking lot staff are on it IMMEDIATELY. Very clean!

All of the children in the family line up on the benches out front with their ice cream cones for a family pic. This place has fast friendly service. They have a young staff that clearly enjoys working there. This place has the biggest ice cream cones I have ever had. They serve Perry's hard ice cream. Make this one of your go to places when camping/fishing/hunting in the area.

The negative I experienced here today was with a local older man who pretended to be shopping but was not. He had no cart but made his way around the store more or less following me and stopping to stare at me. I noticed him shortly after I entered the store and noticed he wasn't buying anything. I checked out and walked out to my vehicle. Soon as I was getting to leave he was leaving at the same time and drove right in front of me so I would see him. So if anyone else has experienced this here or knows what this could of been please let me know. Otherwise, this town and/or store has some kind of problem.

This grocery store is Franklin's closest and a few years ago, prior to the pandemic, I was concerned if it would survive at all. The shelves were mostly empty, the selection was sparse, and if I had seen a tumbleweed I wouldn't have been surprised. Then Sander's took over ownership and the store looks so much better! Many aspects are the same - the decor hasn't changed in decades with the aisles named after Franklin streets, the same look and feel except no more cute elements like the model train that circled above people's heads or the rain sound effects when the misters over the produce turned on. That's fine as it was simply fluff. What's more important is they have a great selection of all food once more from fresh produce to meat and they have great customer service. I was searching for blueberries and asked a couple of employees if they knew if they had any. The one gentleman checked the back and returned telling me that the blueberries weren't put on the shelf because they were poor quality. I appreciated that he took the time to look, that he gave me a transparent answer when he returned, and demonstrated that the store cares about quality. It was great seeing that!

The electronic does not work and when asked to assist the store manager was less than helpful made me wait 15 minutes and acted like the failure of the system was my fault. Also since putting hardware in the store there have been lay offs of baggers and the grocery portion has declined noticeably in the produce section and bakery. Due to poor customer service I will no longer be supporting this establishment.
