When I was able to get through, it was not with a person on the other end but a voicemail that asked me to leave a message. The times I was able to leave a message did me any good, because i NEVER re a call back. Right now I am on hold on 2 separate lines, and have been on both for a very long time, one call has been holding for over 53 minutes, this is outrageous, unprofessional, unacceptable, & very frustrating. What the hell does the front desk staff do, are they Just sitting there staring into space, Maybe they are on their own personal phones, too busy to do their job, I don't get It this makes absolutely no sense at all. I need to find another Doctor, I can't deal with this unacceptable way they handle the front desk. No other Doctor office has ever put me through this nightmare of trying to get through, I am so done being ignored & having my stress levels go up. No one should go through this, we are all dealing with pain, I don't need my anxiety levels to go up too.

The referral process took so long that, by the time I followed up, I called the office they referred me to and found out they had no idea who the doctor on my referral was. Nobody there recognized the name, so I was left trying to figure everything out on my own and had to schedule my own appointment. I then established care with a new primary care provider elsewhere, and they referred me to the correct GI department the very same day. Meanwhile, HealthyU still hasn't updated my referral, and I'm the one making calls and coordinating my own care. I need an infusion by August 4, yet there has been no sense of urgency or communication. Patients shouldn't have to do the office's job just to receive the care they need. On top of that, we had a scheduled appointment, arrived 20 minutes early, and still waited over an hour to be seen. The phone line takes an extremely long time to get through, making it difficult to get updates or speak with someone. To make matters worse, the woman at the front desk was rude and unhelpful.

Went in to have my nerves on both sides of my neck ablated with radio waves. The process itself is…read morepainful as they insert 4 electrodes about the size of a pen refill deep in your neck along both sides of your spine. Then he shoots radio waves to kill the nerves. One of the electrodes, during one of the sessions, failed, but he kept shooting electricity to it to try and get it to work. All the while the faulty electrode was causing intense pain. He finally got angry, pulled the electrode out hastily and jammed another one in and completed the therapy (torture). After the "therapy", I was light headed so a nurse helped me to lay down. While I was resting, he walked by and said what's wrong with you? I said I was light headed. To which he replied, "You big baby!" Really professional. This guy is a q and likes to make your legs flinch or twitch like a frog, by flicking the electrodes for the enjoyment of the people in the room. Oh, and to top it off, I have permanent nerve damage. But not where I needed it as the therapy didn't work at all. No pain was ever relieved. I have permanent nerve damage throughout all the skin in my neck and upper back.
