This is a small, independent gelato place on the right bank in the Jewish quarter in Paris. It's a bit pricey, but the ice cream is delicious. We got chocolate, coffee and a salted caramel with bits of almond praline (caramel croquant parisien) All were delicious.

So there was a line to get in, the line was about 30 people deep, miving pretty fast. For about a little under €6 u can get 2 flavors. I had a dark chocolate and apricot whiskey. Both were very good. My daughter had the Mango which was amazing, neither sorbet was overtly sweet. The flavors of each fruit were fragrant and very intense to the palate. Would highly recommend it. If u are nearby. We wanted to sit in but they only have 10 seats, so no dice. This place is packed on weekends..if i had been able to get a table my experience would have been a perfect 5 stars..

My friend has been living in Paris for eight years and is a pastry chef himself, which is why he loves this place and has taken me here every time I visit Paris (3 times so far). The ice cream chef here is a MOF which is basically a world champion. The ingredients and flavors are very delicate. For example, once, they had three different types of vanilla, which seems so unnecessary, but you could actually taste the difference with a side by side comparison.

Yes, this place is quite expensive but it deserves a try because you will get a beautiful experience handcrafted by the best ice-cream maker in France. Unique flavours like the Pistachios and orange Blossom or the smoked vanilla, don't hesitate to ask for samples. The place is small but very chic. Very recommended when in Paris. 2 scoops at 5.20€

We stumbled upon this ice cream shop in the Marais after dinner and were pleasantly surprised. Nice assortment of flavors and the gelato was delicious. My favorite was the lychee caramel which was a clever combination. So good!

I believe there are two locations, and from what I understand, they don't take reservations, so be prepared to arrive early and wait in line. We arrived around 9:30 AM with a party of five girls and waited about 20 minutes for a table, which honestly wasn't bad at all. The menu is extensive, but they also offer three brunch options that I thought were very reasonably priced. I went with the €45 option, and there was SO much food! Pastries, a breakfast croissant, their famous hot chocolate, and even dessert--it was the perfect amount and such a fun way to try a little bit of everything. Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. And I absolutely loved the slow, relaxed Parisian pace. Our waitress was so kind and attentive, and we never felt rushed. Instead, we were able to sit back, enjoy our food, and really soak in the experience. Between the beautiful setting, delicious food, and relaxed atmosphere, this is definitely a must-try for a Parisian brunch experience!

But I personally think they have much more to praise for. This place is full of tourist and there is no specific language that you need to know to order, their staff was nice and helpful for those who did not speak either French or English. Pro-tip: order the hot food while seating and the pastry at the boutique for later (it's cheaper at the boutique compared to on the menu) Their food was great and the setting is great. Could feel busy at all the time but it's worth it and it's not that cramped. Hot chocolate 10/10 really thick and sweet (to me) Egg Benedict 9/10 it's good (could have been better but it's good for the place) French toast 6/10 Meh I mean it's French toast it's not something very extraordinary to expect Scrambled egg 9/10 it was creamy.

I couldn't tell if this was a real apple or some fancy French creation made to look like one - that's how real it looked! The mousse and apple bits were cold & delicious and the chocolate shell was good, but not sure if it was worth the price at €7.5. + Pain Au Chocolat Cookie - Verrrry good chocolate chip cookie, chocolate croissant mashup. Only thing that we were missing was some good ol' milk! + Almond Croissant - Once again, delicious! Solid croissant and definitely a good grab and go candidate. = Citronnade - Was just OK. Lemonade that was on the watered down side, but was somewhat refreshing because I was dying of thirst. THE SERVICE ----------------------- - Employee who helped us with our order was friendly, but the cashier was a bit blah and not exactly the friendliest person, especially when we asked for extra utensils and napkins. THE SURROUNDINGS ------------------------------------ - Smallish, tight interior that you can dine in at, but don't be surprised if the next table is sitting on top of you. + There are also 5 outdoor tables on the narrow street. - Entrance is tight too. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS ------------------------------------------- + Even though this bakery is ranked highly on Tripadvisor, there was no crowd on the Monday morning that we swung by. I got a few pastries and it was still early enough that they were still warm! The Croissant was probably the best I had on this trip. It helped that the Croissant was fresh and warm, but it was also crispy on the outside and buttery & flaky on the inside. The Pain au Chocolat was also great but it could have used more chocolate for my liking. The Chausson aux Pommes was sweet, slightly acidic from the apples, and definitely heavier of the pastries. I've also never had fresh madeleines before and knew this would be the place to try them. The Madeleine Glacée were buttery and lightly sweet; these actually go so well with a cup of coffee or just a bite if you need a quick snack. All in all, great try!

Since it was a warm summer afternoon, I went for the Chocolat Glacé, their iced chocolate, which was a refreshing choice after walking around the neighborhood. We were too full to try any of the pastries, but the display was beautiful and made it very tempting to come back. In addition to their signature hot chocolate, they also offer a wonderful selection of French pastries, macarons, croissants, crêpes, and other sweet treats. One thing that's helpful to know before visiting is that the Montmartre branch is a takeaway pastry boutique rather than a full-service café or restaurant. Before arriving, I had imagined it would be more of a traditional Parisian tea salon with table service, but this location is designed for grabbing a drink or pastry to enjoy while exploring Place du Tertre. Knowing that beforehand helps set the right expectations. The staff member who assisted us at the counter was friendly and welcoming, making for a pleasant stop. The location itself is part of the experience. Right in the heart of Place du Tertre, surrounded by artists and the charm of Montmartre, it's an easy place to pop into for a sweet break while sightseeing. If you're visiting during the warmer months, I'd definitely recommend the iced chocolate. And if you have a bigger appetite than we did, the pastry selection looked impressive enough to make me want to return just for dessert.

The pain au chocolat and croissant were both exceptional--buttery, flaky, and incredibly fresh. Service was quick and pleasant, and the relaxed atmosphere was a welcome respite after exploring Montmartre. A great spot for classic French pastries.
