The obvious lots on either side are reserved for other businesses. Staff were very friendly - the perfect balance between helpful and leaving us alone. The only food complaint was the wings appetizer was a bit boring. Porkchop and cauliflower were cooked perfectly. Margaritas were good. Creme brulee dessert was perfect size for 2. I don't go to PB often and there's lots in this area but I'd consider going again. We thought the EDM playlist was unique and an unexpectedly good choice while still being plenty quiet for conversation.

I got their Patient Pisco Sour while my partner got the Pomegranate Mojito. The Pisco Sour definitely packed a punch! Quite strong, yet rich and palatable. The real star, however, was surprisingly the Pomegranate Mojito. Pomegranate happens to be one of my favorite fruits, and it's quite rare to find anything pomegranate flavored, let alone a drink! Tart and refreshing, this might just be my new go-to drinky drink.

Service was awesome from start to finish, and the drinks were reasonably priced, which is always a plus. They're dog friendly, which is awesome. Bartenders were cool. Nick was our fave though for sure. He made some mean cocktails. Solid liquor selection plus a list of cocktails to choose from. I initially ordered the something and picante (can't remember the full name) and found it to be way too sweet. Then switched to a basic Lalo with soda and lime to cleanse my palette. After tried their version of an espresso martini which was quite good but made with nitro brew and kahlua so a bit on the sweeter side. I ended the night with my fave drink though which was a Hugo spritz and it was perfectly balanced. Definitely will be going back, especially for the love band Sundays. Parking is all street parking.

The duck was also cooked perfectly with a crispy seasoned skin that was spot on. We ordered the crispy mushrooms. Not what we expected but so good we ordered another dish with our dinner. We had the Basque Cheesecake and the Crème Brûlée. Both were outstanding. The restaurant itself has a rich mahogany feel and comfortable booths. Our waiter was always checking on us and making sure we had everything we need The family had a great first experience and will be back for more! Cheers!

Their locals are both actually local but also have many out of town regulars like us since so many travel to enjoy the amazingness of San Diego. We try to stay as close to Moe's as we can when we visit because they're in the perfect spot at the edge of Mission and the start of Pacific Beach where all the fun is. The food and cocktails are as good as the service. It's easy to chat up a new friend at the bar because their San Diego happiness is contagious. There were a number of new recipes on the cocktail menu this trip. They had me at "Party With Elvis." Although I was drawn to the fun name, the walnut-infused bourbon was too enticing to pass up, especially because they paired it with Montenegro (Amaro) and sweet vermouth. So it's a fancy Manhattan variation. It was delish!!!!!! Make sure when you go to the amazing beaches next time in SD, check out Moe's. You'll love the food and cocktails as much as the vibe. I don't even really drink but Ill throw back 4 of those coconut margs like nobody's business. Loved the loaded nachos bc of the good amount of melted cheese and chipotle crema. All other food here is a solid 4/5. Only not so good thing was out chicken tinga taco and it was just because the Tortilla got drenched by the juice and was hard to eat as a taco. Happy hour is pretty solid here and it's all day on Mondays. Espresso martini will put you on your ass for sure if you aren't careful. Staff is super friendly here. Street parking only which can be crazy depending on day and time you go.

Enjoyed an outdoor patio casual dinner recently…read more Ordered chips and salsa (bottomless for $3) mole, and a Chile Relleno. Also a side of elote. The chile relleno was really nice and light with a good melty cheese. The rice and beans sides were not my favorites. The rice is an "elote" which is a neat idea, but lacked some flavor. Didn't love the mole, but we all have diff preferences when it comes to mole, so no sweat there. I think serving it as a half chicken wasn't my favorite way to prepare this dish. The elite was really good. Would get again! Tried the seasonal margarita drink (a peachy thing - tasted like something I might have mixed up in college) and also a classic margarita, which was good, but both mixed drinks were a bit light on the tequila pour. Usually after two margarita I'm so toasty I keep ordering dishes, but I was surprised I still had willpower to turn down dessert - so make of that what you will. Hubby just a couple draft IPAs and was happy. Served brought our pup water, which we appreciated. Music was good. Server was...effective. Would definitely try again.

I've been here a couple times over the years but my most recent visit was this past Saturday night…read more My fiancé and I joined some friends to see the band Ready Set Survive in the downstairs of the space, a part of the bar I hadn't been in before. The band was great, the sound system was on point and the bar was very busy without feeling overly packed. We went upstairs to use the bathroom and get our drinks before the show started which was definitely the right choice. Not nearly as busy up there and only one person ahead of us to use the bathroom. I saw some folks eating the infamous OB Noodle House wings and taking peanut butter shots, I had half a mind to stay up there for a while but we didn't want to miss the band! There's also an awesome rooftop patio with a view of the ocean that we didn't go to that night. Highly recommend checking it out for their happy hour. Back downstairs for the show and I've gotta give their staff props, they did a great job sweeping through the crowd and picking up empty drinks throughout the night. My only beef with this bar is, there were so many people smoking on the patios that you couldn't get away from the smell pretty much anywhere inside. I don't remember that being an issue on previous visits but it was horrible that night.
