I wanted to get grill for my birthday, back in November, so I treated myself. I went in early on a weekend and there was guy helping me out. Showed my pictures of different designs, and didn't make me feel rushed in my decision. I ended up making a unique set (you can get different karats, different cuts, drips, open-face, diamonds or solids). I let him know what I wanted and asked if we could rush it in about 4-5 days in time for my birthday. I literally picked it up the night of my birthday before I went out and received numerous compliments. It's been about 6 months and the grill is still shining immaculately. Arghhh. I stumbled upon this place on IG and had it bookmarked for some time. Finally decided to go today with my boyfriend : we weren't even greeted when we walked in smh. After about 40 seconds: "Uhhh....Hi, we're here to get pricing for grills", as the front desk girl, receptionist or whatever you wanna call her, is carrying on with a very loud conversation on her cellphone. She tells her phone friend to "hold on", as she looks through her phone for the prices, and then resumes her convo while my boyfriend and I discuss the pricing and their piss poor service. it's crazy being done so dirty while being a returning customer. I've been sitting here waiting for updates on my set for 4 MONTHS! normally it's a two week turn around, but truly it seems like they just don't give a fuck about finishing it and they keep postdating me every time I CALL! giving me the the wildest excuses so I pulled my deposit, as I was attempting to pull they pushed me to leave it and continued gas lighting me for weeks, last update it was half done, they fucked up on the bottom set and had to reset the gems and that's been TWO MONTHS AGO! idk what it's going to take to get this set but I'm not pleased with the lies and run around & they CAN NOT expect payment after the FULL ON disrespect. read more

THE place to go for grillz. The shop is tiny but super chill.People there are honest and professional. Get to the second floor, check the tattoo shop as you walk in, look on your left, say hi and have a seat on the long leather bench. They ll ask you what you wish to get... It s pretty low key and easy. when you know what you want, they ll take the mold to make sure it fit perfectly and make a file to know exactly what you want and where you want it. The girl that made my mold wore gloves before touching the material and cleaned everything before my eye. you can tell they know what there are doing. If it s not too busy you can get it the next day!!!! Prices are correct! Going around Fulton Mall you ll get so many levels but 80% or more of those shops actually get the grillz done with Underground Grillz... i don t want to kill the business but one of the "reseller" sold me a plated gold piece for a solid gold. i learnt my lesson and like to stay with the source right the way. i been wanting to butter my lips with a gold grill for a while now (yeah, i'm super ratchet!) so i figured this would be a nice souvenir of our latest trip out east. i don't know my way around brooklyn at all so google maps points the way for us - F train, get off at metrotech/J st station, blah blah...what it don't tell you is gots to go cross the street to the second floor (umm, this is not underground, lmao!) in this building where this tattoo shop is. go INTO the tattoo shop and around the corner you see a door to a closet sized workshop with like 7 people working! and working hard too. the benches where the customers sit outside the door also double as storage for equipment. you might have to raise up so they can access occasionally. we got there on a friday afternoon and there was one kid in front of us. he just needed to get his grill adjusted slightly so it fit better. while we sat there and chatted, he told us how his experience with this shop has been nothing but pleasant and that he's been a long time customer. when it was our turn up next, the dude (mebbe owner? i didn't catch his name) was extremely knowledgeable and really friendly. we were getting 2 grills (my bro got the all cheese look with yellow gold while i went with the rose gold) he cut us a discount and offered to do free diamond cuts (i think it's free for everybody that gets grill) but we opted for the cleaner gold slugs look instead. we discussed how many teeth (6 but in retrospect, we prolly shoulda got 8 for the extra $100) and uppers or lowers. we went with the latter as you can see in my pics. the gal that came to take the mold of our teeth was quick and professional, seemed like she must have done it a million times before and there were no surprises. gloves on, and new appliances were used for each mold. we could have paid an extra expedite fee but it still would have cut it too close to our departure time on monday (they closed on sunday) so we just had our homegirl fetch them and ship them to us. i was slightly worried that they wouldn't fit and we wouldn't be able to get them corrected but the other gal that worked there assured us that with only 6 teeth it shouldn't be an issue. 2 weeks later we can confirm that these fit perfectly. i can't knock their hustle. they took a space about the size of an average parking spot and have provided 7 people with jobs. that's what's up! i love supporting the little guy. they take pride in their work and the products they make. looking for mouth jewelry in east new york, you could do worse than here! read more

Where to start? Well maybe with the fact that I should have turned around when I came in and an irate customer was yelling at the staff for giving her the run around about picking up her product. I ignored that red flag. I ask to speak with the person I had already been conversing with via the internet because I had already explained and showed him pics. I was told to just explain it again so I did and also showed pics. Another red flag I ignored and got fitted for my grill anyway, paid the deposit, and set a date to pick up. Then I get a text a few days later requesting a picture of my teeth. This was my first grill so I assumed this was standard procedure. I later realized this was because someone must have broken my mold (when I finally got them you can see where the mold was split down the middle and glued back together) but yes instead of asking me to come take another mold they put it together like a puzzle. I'm guessing this was because I live 2 hours away (with traffic) which I expressed to make sure they let me know when my product was done so I wouldn't have to make that drive too many times. Anyway the date came for me to pick up my grill and I decide to give them an extra day just in case it was busy over the holiday (thanksgiving) so I go to grab it and I'm told it's not done. By this time I'm pretty annoyed because I'm looking at the date in the book and it clearly said they'd be done the day before I actually showed up and again I love about 2 hours away. I asked the owner if he could just mail me the finished product as I do not want to drive there again only to have my time wasted. He agrees. A couple days later the product is finally finished and I receive a picture that looks nothing at all like what I explained and showed pictures (to two different people) of what I wanted. I was told they would be fixed and at this point they were just so much different then what I requested that I just let the owner fix minor things and said I'd take them so of course I ask him to ship. He again agrees to ship the next day so the next day comes and he never ships so the day after I just tell him if he hadn't shipped I'd pick them up. Of course he still had not so I drive to pick them up and they do not. They fit my mold of course because they fit the mold that they had broken and put back together which was clearly not the exact as my actual teeth anymore. They tried to fix them but at this point I've accepted that I'll just be taking a lost so yes now I'm here with a grill I can not fit. Never again. I've already told my friends not to even bother. Definitely buy at your own risk. read more
