Tito's specializes in hot dogs (the original restaurant is called Tito's Sloppy Doggs), but we didn't get a hot dog here! Instead, we got chili fries covered with cheese and sauerkraut. Got to love that they offer fermented foods in the form of kraut! Waffle fries and fried cheese balls were also procured, and they were great. All of the fried foods kind of all had that old-school fried-food same-tastiness, though. The way things taste when you're at the fair and all of the fried food from the food truck is cooked in the same oil. But I ain't complaining, because it was delicious. Because Tito's is located in Centre Market, it's just a food stall, so you'll have to find seating somewhere in the food hall, or take your food to go. But if you're a single diner, they do have a couple of bar seats at the counter.

That's why I'm so thrilled to see Dupe's Scoops take over the space and bring ice cream back where it belongs. On a recent visit to town, we stopped by and I went with the cookies and cream hand-scooped in a waffle cone--delicious, classic, and just what I was hoping for. The staff were incredibly kind, the pricing was very reasonable, and the vibe was all-around welcoming. One of the biggest improvements? The new seating area! It's a great spot to sit down, relax, and actually enjoy your ice cream without rushing back to the car. This is such a great addition to the area, and I'll definitely be making a return stop on future trips to Wheeling!
