Holy beef...this place is OK at best, but they must be making the burgers from Kobe beef! The prices for these cheeseburgers are astronomically. Spent $54 on 5 small hamburgers, 5 small drinks and one fry. This keeps the big burger chain in business, the quality just isn't worth the cost. Don't get me wrong, the food was decent, but more of a $20-$30 price point. Not $55 They don't have "combos" so everything is purchased individually. Cashier couldn't describe size os small vs regular fries. Didn't know weight of patties (she makes a circle with her hands. There's no official weight before cooking? She has no clue). And check the picture of the dust / crumbs in the peanut box. Been to some other five guys with good experiences. This one's the worst. Update: getting in touch w corporate just has them pass issues back to that location. No monitoring by or involvement from five guys corporate. The five guys idea might have worked at the beginning but now they seem to be just franchising locations, getting their franchise fees and coasting on a what was a good reputation. Disappointed with the experience here and worse, learning the behind the scenes reality. Loads of other places to go for burgers. My wife wants me to cut down on salt anyway so going elsewhere and not getting their salted peanuts will help with that too! read more

Amazing Location Newbies to Five Guys read this! If you want a quick frozen garbage burger there is a McDonald's nearby. If you want something made to order fresh right in front of you, then come here. DO NOT GET THE LARGE FRIES UNLESS YOU ARE SPLITTING THEM WITH 4 PEOPLE OR 3 HUNGRY ONES! All the toppings (except cheese and bacon) are free so pile on what you want! Grilled jalapeños and grilled mushrooms all the way! Five Guys is more expensive, true, but I'd rather pay a bit more for high quality. They have the fries cut daily in store (they even tell you what farm the potatoes are from) , fresh peanut oil to fry them in, an open kitchen so you know the only thing going in your food is quality ingredients. Five Guys is about Simple food at very high quality. Expect to pay more, but it is well worth it. read more

Traveling and needed to get lunch for the fam. This is our first experience with five guys. The shakes were great. The burgers were good but the fries were horrible. I paid about 17 bucks for a bacon cheeseburger, fries and a milk shake. The burger and fries were super greasy. I thought for this price that I would get a gourmet sandwich or soemthing. Not your average Five Guys. The employees were exceptional. They went out of there way to make us feel like we mattered, that our order mattered, and our experience was perfect. Having an infant, eating out can easily be a challenge, but they even took time to say hello and engage with our son putting a smile on his face. It's personal service like this that transforms this location from "just another chain location" to a place where they treat customers in such a way that it creates brand and location loyalty. After reading some of the existing reviews, I felt compelled to weigh in on the subject. Five Guys is not a gourmet burger establishment, but they do serve QUALITY ingredients. I feel as though the pricing may be slightly more expensive than a fast food restaurant, but the food is prepared FRESH for you. Notwithstanding their higher-than-average quality, I feel the negative comments here arise out of somewhat of a culture-clash. Cheeseburgers and french fries imply grease will be involved. For the review that complained about the food being greasy, I will attest that it is no worse than a fast food establishment, and this is what makes it comfort food. In regard to the reviewer who mentioned "veggie sandwich"...this is akin to walking into a butcher shop and asking for a nice ultra-prime radish. It's a bit unusual. Perhaps you were under the impression that Five Guys Burgers and Fries meant they specialize in veggie-burgers--and if so, that's on you--but the rest of us reasonable folk know a hamburger joint when we see (and smell) one. If you've never frequented a Five Guys, this establishment is par for the course. I've been to better, but only marginally better establishments. Prepare to spend a little bit more on made-to-order comfort food, and make sure to get the Cajun fries...but don't go crazy, stick to the small fry portion. I'm a big eater, and I adore the portion sizes available at this franchise, and other Five Guys establishments, so take it from me, and ease your way into the experience of larger portions! Went to Five Guys for the first time this evening. Greeted by a very nice young man, sorry to say I don't know his name. He was very welcoming and when I said this was our first time to Five Guys, he was very happy to explain the menu. The place was nearly empty, although it didn't surprise me being a snowy Sunday evening. The food was hot and just as we ordered it. I had asked if I could get my burger without a bun ( I would rather use my calories for fries!). He explained I could have it wrapped in lettuce or in a bowl. I opted for the bowl, and sure enough it was exactly how I ordered! Our burgers were not greasy, they were very tasty and the "extras" were great, especially the onions!!! Yummmmy!!!!! The fries are good too.. Could go a little easy on the salt, but that is strictly a personal matter. I like the idea of the pop machine and how you can add flavors to your drink. Overall, I'd go back!! It was a bit loud due to the music, and for some reason, that seems to be the norm in restaurants these days!!! And... It was a bit pricey for burgers.... But... I enjoyed it!!! Thanks to the staff. They did tell us to drive safe on the snowy roads... Seems like they care about their customers... Hmmm..... That in itself is unusual these days!!! Was by no means impressed. I've seen Five Guys Burger and Fries everywhere. So figured I would finally try them today. Me and a friend went; for a burger, veggie sandwich, two drinks, and two small fries, was over $28. Took 15 minutes standing by the counter before the order was complete, fries were dumped into the bag (no cup, bag, etc) and the two sandwiches placed on top (sandwiches were wrapped.) The buns of both sandwiches stuck to the tin foil wrappers, half of the sandwich was not even on the bun, a disgusting mess. the food tasted alright, It was nothing to write home about. It would have been equivalent to a $5 meal at McDonald's. I eat fast food once or twice a year, if the food and appearance would have been semi-decent the cost would not have bothered me. This is just an over priced version of McDonald's. My first, and last visit, to Five Guys burgers and fries. read more
