I have spent quite a lot of money in this store. I have never had to return anything. I was under the impression that it was a 14 day return policy with the tags on the garment and the receipt in hand. I purchased an item on October 1 and came in just now on October 14 to return it and I was told that they can do nothing. It would be one thing if the tags were off of the garment and if I did not have my receipt in hand; however garnet I purchased had all tags attached and was in the same bag with the receipt. This boutique has some really cute clothes, shoes and jewelry. You can find anything from casual wear to going out outfits. Their shoes are high quality material however some of the clothing is 100% rayon, which is great for hot weather but will shrink when washed warm. Fitting rooms are towards the back and they thankfully also have a larger fitting room and was able to fit with a stroller. Prices are fair for the quality of clothes. I will definitely be returning to buy some more cute clothes! SIDE NOTE: This was my second time here and have to say that the customer service has really improved. During my first visit, which was over a year ago, I felt I was being watched so I immediately left. I'm not sure if it had anything to do with being Latina, but it sure felt like it. Cute store wish they had more stores like this in Temecula! I bought a dress, but did notice some damage to it when I got home. I went back two days later and they accepted my return, because I had the receipt and tags still on merchandise! I did get a new dress! BUYER BEWARE OF THIS STORE! I am a visitor from Alaska staying in Lake Elsinore. Saturday, June 6th, I went shopping in old town Temecula. In this shop I found (2) cute jeans on sale. However, I couldn't try them on due to COVID-19 restrictions. The cashier told me I had to buy them and try them on at home and I could return them if I didn't want them. I tried them on later and decided to keep one pair of jeans. I returned to the shop on Tuesday, June 16th, to return the other pair. I was informed that I only had seven (7) days to return them. (This was 10 days after purchase) she said I could find something in the store for that value but would not get a refund! I asked why I wasn't informed of the return policy, and the same cashier I had bought them from, pointed to a small piece of ratty paper taped to the checkout desk stating the return policy. The print was so small I had to put my glasses on to read it. You can imagine how upset I was. The jeans were about $70 and now I couldn't get my money back! I told the cashier that under the circumstances she needed to make an exception since I was FORCED to buy the clothes just to try them on! She said she'd give me a gift card instead, but that was all she could do. I showed her my Alaska driver's license and said I was a visitor and not able to use the gift card. She said well you can find something now in the store or take the gift card. I know this is not the way a good shop should do business. read more

Extremely disappointed in Under the Willow!! They are like a book with an interesting book cover yet the actual story ends up being awful. I went in to purchase some things last week and walked around for 25mins with an armful of items, as yes, they have cute things. With 7 salespeople working the store NOT ONE could greet, acknowledge or look at me. They were all waaaaay too busy chatting with each other all over the sales floor or looking at themselves in the mirrors. So I stuck to my motto of, "if no one can greet or acknowledge me in a store they don't deserve my money", and put everything back & walked out. Went and spent my money in MUCH friendly shops on the street. Trust me, like Carole S, they too lost a loyal customer and sadly they could care less is losing loyal customers.!! Do yourself a favor and READ the "bad reviews" so you know what you're up against. I purchased a really cute sweater. Liked it so much I returned 2 days later and bought it in 2 additional colors. I was aware they have a 7 day return policy. I was not aware that this applied to damaged goods! On day 10 after one washing, on delicate, in cold water, dried on a towel, not put in the dryer one of the sweaters was coming apart at the neckline. I brought it back on day 10. With my receipt. They offered to do nothing. The sales girl said it must have been the way it was laundered and that she would notify the manufacturer. She did not write anything down regarding the manufacturer, not sure how she was going to let them know. I washed all 3 sweaters the exact same way and the other 2 did not come apart at the seam. There return policy is BS when it comes to damaged clothes. I said "so I have a new sweater that I can not wear" she said "yes, that's right". I have loved the store. This is just a heads up on their return policy. First let me say that they do have a note on the counter, which if you put your items on the counter, you cannot see. It is not posted where you can see it, nor was I told about their policy at the time of purchase. The store is in Old Town which for me is a destination trip. I don't go very often. I'm so unhappy with this stores practices. First of all you can't try anything on, and if it doesn't fit you have only 7 days to return. I was in an accident and got a bad concussion and was in no shape to return anything. So because it was over 7 days, they would not even do an exchange!
