A cute, little store that offers healthy and nutritious bowls and smoothies with a cool ambiance. This place was busy when I went. I believe there were only two people working and they kept getting backed up but besides the long wait, it was much needed after continuous nights out in Miami. I got the superfood bowl with açai blended with bananas, spirulina, and maca topped with bananas, granola, coconut shavings, gogi berries and a touch of honey. So good. It wasn't too overwhelming sweet. read more

This place is definitely the opposite of your typical south beach cafe. With yummy healthy vegan eats, delicious acai bowls, avocado bread and juices, this adorable cafe also includes service with a smile. Highly recommended for a quick bite before hitting the sand. Unfortunately parking is challenging and there is limited seating. read more

whhhhhaaat a vibe! Amazing, cozy little gem in South Beach. The music, the personalized treatment from the employees, the cleanliness, location, the decor. It's perfect! Just found out they have free WiFi. Bring your laptop for work, school, meetings and enjoy the vibe. I'll be visiting more often whenever I'm in South Beach! I appreciate this place now more than the first time I visited years ago. As I am now transitioning to vegetarian and I'm exploring more with vegan foods. I tried their patty Samy and the soups of the day and I loved them both, as well as their banana bread. I also noticed they make their veggie soup with produce from Hungry Harvest, which I am a member of! Hungry Harvest brings you fresh produce while fighting world hunger. How can you not love this place! For those driving, parking around that area is limited. The place is also small not much room for sitting, but you can always pick up your food. read more

Acai bowls have been my obsession for the last few months. I make them myself and I LOVE trying different places and comparing them. My latest adventure was to Under the Mango Tree and OMG was I pleasantly surprised. When you see it from the street, you actually wouldn't see it from the street lol it is this hole in the wall place unless you actually know what you're looking for. Once you walk in, it is the CUTEST little place and doesn't look like a hole in the wall at all!! The acai bowl I had was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! My boyfriend had one too and thought it was so fantastic that he had 2 of them haha I also tried their avocado, cheese sandwich and it was pretty good too. The acai bowls, personally, were the BEST acai bowls in Miami!! I will absolutely be back. I wish I lived closer to the beach but that could be dangerous cause I would be there all the time haha read more

Really love this place. Haven't had an açaí bowl this good in Atlanta. The fruits were fresh and ripe, the blend wasn't too sour and it had the right amount of honey granola and bananas. I've been to different locations in Atlanta and none have compared to this. I love the health consciousness of this restaurant. The items on the menu also vary. It's great coffee shop and lunch spot as well. Will come here again when in town. read more

Came here on a Monday morning, and I was actually impressed by how full the place was. If you are looking for a place to relax, possibly get some work done, or to come after a workout, the atmosphere is great. I was not that impressed with the actually acai bowls though. The size of them was okay, but the quality was subpar in my opinion. I have lived in Hawaii and LA, so have had some really top notch acai, and while the atmosphere of Under the Mango Tree was there, I don't think the bowls themselves were. A little goopy, and seemed watered down. read more

I was so impressed with this place. First off, you walk in and the ambience perfectly accentuates the type of food you're about to eat. There are hanging plants all across the ceiling, simple wooden benches and tables, colorful cushions, and a chalkboard menu. When we ordered, we thought we'd have to get everything to go since we had our (rather large) dog, but the lady kindly told us that it would be fine to stay. So extra points for being extra animal friendly! We ordered the mango smoothie, an the classic açaí bowl, and a slice of vegan banana bread. The mango smoothie could've used a little more sweetener in my opinion, the banana bread was delicious, and the açaí bowl was the star. It was a generous portion topped with crunchy granola, banana slices, kiwi, and I believe papaya. I thought I didn't even like papaya. Delicious! Will be making my way back here 100%. read more

I went there today and it wasn't very busy, it took them over 25 minutes to make a smoothie. When I asked what was going on she replied "we are human." I get it, but it's insane how slow they are... maybe a little bit of matcha would help wake everyone up and get things moving in there. read more

My favorite vegan spot. Love the Buddha bowl with the homemade black bean Patty. I substitute the farro for greens. I got a green juice and tried their pecan pastry and they were so good. Love the overall vibe in there too. Very spiritual, holistic, healing and relaxing. Perfect lunch time spot while at the beach at my favorite beach 4th and Ocean. read more

Perfect place for a weekend morning escape! The "new" location is a little bigger than the last and has a very distinct earthy charm. This is a great spot to enjoy a healthy brunch. I particularly LOVE the acai bowls. Acai is a South American berry that is served frozen (creamy) in a similar manner as a yogurt parfait. Under the Mango Tree has several options for you, but I usually choose from the Original, Marley, or Choclate bowl. I also LOVE the spicy kale melt, the smoothies, and the turmeric latte (which they recently changed on the menu). Instead of the original turmeric latte, you can get the Kapi option. The staff are really nice and helpful if you are looking for suggestions on what to order. They also have some organic items like agave and gift items like insense available for purchase. If you live in the area, I would recommend walking, otherwise you will have to find meter parking, or park close by in the residential zone 2 parking and walk a few blocks. read more

Best Açai bowl I've ever had!!!! I have heard a lot about this place and decided to finally check it out. What a cute place! It has an amazing vibe the decor is super simple and the energy is amazing. Make sure you check out all the cool stuff they have for sale. They have amazing oils by a local company called Alma that I personally love. They sell palo santo, sage, and all the things you need to keep the vibes high. I was very impressed with their menu. The prices are reasonable. Their selection is just perfect. I wish they had a granola without nuts (but that is just me because I have a nut allergy) my friend ordered her bowl with their granola and it looked amazing!!!! I ordered the "cacao bowl" WOW!!!! It was the most delicious thing that I ever had! The crunchy nibs with the coconut and the bananas made the perfect combination for an amazing breakfast. I am obsessed now! read more

This place is such a lovely spot for fresh, clean food. Lots of greenery and a real tree, a very very cute spot to get out of the sun (or rain) for a bit. I'm not a vegan but have had vegan patties before and this was probably the only one I'd eat again. Especially with the ginger peanut dressing on top. For me vegan baked goods can be hit or miss but, this was great, not too sweet and not crumbly at all. Very well done. Feeling great after eating here. read more

UPDATE: THEY GOT RID OF PLASTIC STRAWS AND ALSO SELL STAINLESS STEEL STRAWS FOR ONLY $2!! 5+ STARS!!! This place has become one of my staples. Besides having the BPT (Best Price in Town) Açaí Bowl (pictured) - delicious and generously-sized - at only $7, they are a true "green" establishment, with an actual, living mango tree, inside amongst many hanging plants, and reusable dishes, utensils and glass jars (in which they serve their awesome, fresh juices - pictured is "The Pure Green" at $9). I get so confused when I dine IN at establishments that try to play "green," but serve you in plastic cups and give you plastic utensils. It's irresponsible and hypocritical, as far as I'm concerned. I recently bought a smoothie from a "green" food truck, served in a styrofoam cup. I had a conversation with those people. As opposed to most other Açaí bowl joints, UTMT is the only local place I know that has bowls made without added ice. The BPT DOES have ice, but their bowls WITHOUT ice are priced similarly to other establishments that add ice. It's annoying when you get an açaí bowl with big chunks of ice in it. Not here! The BPT is always well-blended. I like the consistency WITH ice better. The non-icy bowls have kind of a yogurty consistency. You order at the counter, and your food is whisked to you by the friendly, smiley staff, when it is ready. I've never felt that I'd waited very long for my food. What are you waiting for? Stopped in midday after the beach. I was sun-assaulted and parched. They have so many options to choose from. I got the Pink Dragon smoothie and fiancé got Brazilian Bliss... INCREDIBLE. Best acai bowls on south beach! Don't forget to try the mushroom empanada with the garlic aioli sauce!! Amazing!! Only downside of this place is how expensive it is and how they charge you for every little additional thing. They don't like to substitute things and will charge you for things like honey being drizzled on your acai- very inflexible. read more

Underneath the mango tree is one of the best hidden gems in South Beach. I typically make the trip to Pura Vida when I am in the 305, but Underneath the Mango tree is just a good! It's small and quaint, the staff is really friendly, and it's immediate good vibes as soon as you walk through the door. All the food is made fresh and with love and is very reasonable. The acai bowl portions are huge, a small is enough to share! The only reason I am giving Underneath the Mango tree 4 stars and not 5 is because of time - I waited about 20+ minutes for 1 acai bowl and 2 juices. You can buy incense, indie/hippie clothes, sage and palo santo inside. I picked up a few things while I was here! read more

We walked here from Joe's in search for a coffee place. The interior decor was definitely interesting. This place has a yoga studio feel to it. A lot of vegan options and also carries CBD. We ordered a cinnamon vanilla latte. It wasn't bad, also wasn't another exceptional. If you're in the area, it's worth a visit to check out. Otherwise, don't have too high of expectations. read more

Small shop to grab breakfast. Great selection of acai bowls, smoothies, juices, etc. I like their take on being fresh with their ingredients. The staff was really nice and prices were worth the taste. They also have other items for sale like candles or deco items. Seating is tight but you can always take your order to go and eat it on the beach. I had the BPT acai bowl which I absolutely loved! It was really fresh and the coconut was crunchy. You can also add on toppings but not needed since it tastes really good without. Def a great spot to try to cool down in the hot Miami weather. read more

A bowl of pure bliss & goodness. That's the only way to describe these fabulous Acai Bowls. Wasn't a big fan of acai bowls until I tried theirs. Got the Marley Acai Bowl (with acai, blended spinach, blackberries, peanut butter, coconut flakes and granola) and the Spicy Kale Melt - both delicious and perfect for breakfast. We spent around $17 which is justified given the quality of ingredients. The staff were very helpful in providing suggestions without rushing us. Surprised to see people complain about longer wait times - if you ask me, that's a great sign; it means they are making our food fresh from scratch. I found myself Under the Mango Tree when my bf and I decided that we are pretty obsessed with smoothie bowls and they make the perfect sharable dessert during hot Miami days. I had the dragon fruit bowl and mango smoothie (mango, agave, orange and strawberry) on such a hot day. Both were super refreshing and beautiful. The dragon fruit bowl was $10 and was a nice bright fuchsia color. It came with coconut, pineapple and granola. The space is super small and cute. There are some benches and lots of hippie looking items you can buy (Indian bags, fabrics and doodads). read more

Great local spot with nice vibe. Very popular and busy casual place with juices, smoothies, açaí bowls, drinks, toasts and some baked goods. This place has a very nice chill atmosphere and they seem to have a lot of repeat business. The ingredients are fresh and wholesome. I got the Marley smoothie a couple times and a açaí bowl. All were very well made and no short cuts. The only thing negative thing is they seem to take their time and care with preparing items - which can result in a long wait. A couple of the times were 15-20+ minutes for a take out smoothie. Another time was five minutes or so. Besides that, it's a great local business with quality food that is great to support. I love the commitment to sustainability and my turmeric shot was great but the smoothie was super chunky (the dates weren't blended. I couldn't drink it through the (paper) straw because the chunks got stuck + the straw was doing its paper straw thing (soggy). I threw the straw out and decided to leave and finish it while I walked buttt then I had to stop somewhere and have them transfer it to a cup because the paper cup was also paper cupping. I'm not sure why I was given all paper products and everyone else dining in had glass on top of it taking an extremely long time for someone to greet me although I was standing at the counter and 2 employees were as well....takes 2 seconds to say "hi, someone will be with you soon" when you're standing within 3 feet of a customer. The decor is super cute but I wouldn't recommend it read more

When ever we come to Miami we stop by under the mango tree for a delicious acai bowl. Perfectly prepared with tons of fresh fruit. Everything is simply made in a small kitchen of a converted town house. The store is very hippy and health conscious with some ingredients for sale. Inspired by nature, I decided to open a small but unique local shop in South Beach, my hometown. My original fascination for earthy style and natural living was personal but soon transformed to the Under the Mango Tree shop. Every product is handmade and most of them are made by locals from our neighborhood. By buying from locals we could all reduce our carbon footprint because it didn't have to travel far The shop is all made by reusable items, from chairs to shelves... We also serve fresh made - health conscious juices to spread the word on its healing power.

Meet the Business Owner: Patty P.

Born in Peru and raised in Miami, I decided to move to South Beach ten years ago. I have a need to be close to the ocean. I always had an urge to learn about ways to heal ourselves by natural ways and positive energy. So I decided to open this Natural Boutique blocks from my apartment to inspire people from my neighborhood. I am my number one customer, I love everything I carry, every single item has been hand picked to get in touch with nature; from handmade - by locals - jewelry to superfoods; like maca, quinoa, spirulina.. When I did research for the best dupe for the Erwohn "Hailey Beiber Smoothie" this came up on top! So I had to put this on my "Must Visit" list. As you can see from the pictures, it looks just like it. Now, I live in Florida and haven't been to LA yet to try the famous smoothie, so I have no idea what it tastes like, but what I can say is that this one TASTED AMAZING! I added a photo of the menu and the ingredients of the smoothie below and it tasted so interesting, healthy, and delicious. It was sweet because of the added coconut cream and the dragon fruit pieces. The service was really good, the employee was very nice. The one thing we all hate about going to Miami Beach is that they ask for an additional tip for EVERYTHING. So beware. My order total was $38 for a smoothie and an Acai Bowl. ($20 for the smoothie and $15 for the bowl plus tax) Absolutely insane prices. I did love the layout of this "cafe" they have merch, protein bars, and extra powder additives that you could purchase. Overall, I'm giving it a 5-star review, because it really is "Worth the Hype!"

I was able to take mine all the way to the beach and a great stroll to keep you hydrated and cool down. The owner was the one who made the drink and was really friendly and helpful. One ordered a grilled tofu dish, one ordered salmon, and I ordered fettuccine in creamy basil sauce. The tofu arrived burnt on the outside and soaking wet and way too soggy inside, so it was sent back with the promise that it would be replaced. Spoiler: it never came back. The salmon was also oddly wet, with a distinctly unpleasant look and taste. My fettuccine was somehow also waterlogged and over-soft, and clearly had been sitting in water for far too long. No al dente here. As for the basil sauce, there was absolutely no flavor. None at all in the noodles or in the sauce, just flavorless watery mush. I don't remember another food that had absolutely no flavor. I tried to get chili flakes or anything to rescue it, but couldn't get anyone's attention and eventually just stopped eating. We tried to make the best of it, but between the missing tofu, the mediocre-to-bad food, and inattentive service, we gave up. To top it off, a 20% tip was added automatically without asking. (Note: this is not a full-service restaurant - customers wait in line to order, find a seat, they bring the food and set it down, and that's it.) The bill for this experience was $93. I'm giving two stars only because I didn't see any critters crawling around--my personal threshold for one star.
