The staff are all so friendly and helpful. Some of them even have some of their hand crafted items for sell in the gift/supply shop! The owners have some of their hand crafted pottery available too! Surprisingly, they don't gouge you at all for the supplies available either! That's a huge bonus to me because most places like this seem to do just that! They have rv spots with full hookups and spots with just electric. They also have cabins and a small B&B apparently. Only a few things that could make this park a little better, in my opinion. 1: a little wider spaces. Although, they are all at an angle which makes it feel a bit more open. They are wider than some parks though! 2: a leash free pet area would be awesome. 3: the nightly fee is high enough that I feel like charging for showers is excessive. So future campers know, it's 50 cents for 10 minutes.

We nearly lost a new canopy trying to get into our site and our neighbor could not access their site without some creative maneuvering. Also, our sewer connection was far from where we needed it and we had to use the neighbors to dump. Other than that it was fine. I felt like it was way over priced and I would look for something else if I returned to this area.

*For the cabins, not the RV Park*…read more From the start the resort was accommodating. We had asked to drop our trailer to park while we went to explore the area and as well if there was any possibility of an early check in, which in our case the previous guest had left and cleaning was being done a little earlier than our time which isn't always the case so that was awesome!! Rooms were very clean, comfy, and well kept. Don't let the word motel deter you by any means! This is way nicer than most hotels. Smaller space as we had the 2 queen room but very functional for the one night we needed. Guests had access to the pool and a grill area which was great. There was no breakfast but they did offer coffee/tea. Very close to the West Glacier entrance and close to Whitefish and Flathead lake area as well. Would stay here again!

We picked 2 sites that were next to each other, were big enough for our 35 foot rigs, and had room to sit outside and enjoy each other's company. When we arrived, they had moved us to different sites that were far apart from each other and had hardly enough space for our rigs, and absolutely no space to gather outside. My husband and I had to park our truck 3 ft in front of our door where we would typically sit outside and our friends were smack up against the back of a cabin, so no place to hang out there. We were first told they moved us because someone else couldn't fit into the site they picked. Once we discovered where we were placed and that we hardly fit, we complained and were told that it was the website that "optimized" the grid. Since there were other people in the sites we had originally selected, we asked for a discount as we didn't get what we paid for. The staff person said he would call and talk to the manager. Soon, he relayed the message that it was all our fault because there was a box we were supposed to check if we wanted to guarantee our selected site. We went back to the website and did a whole walkthrough of the booking process until just before you actually click to submit the payment. No check box. So they lied again!

She made mention that it was locally owned, AND it was the only one of the 3 restaurants she named which was open before 4pm, which is when we were there, so we trekked on over. We arrived behind a large party of about 8 people and were the only other table in the restaurant. They - or should I say he - took our order quickly and were willing to accommodate a special request (to have a breakfast dish after their stated cutoff time due to a wheat allergy; almost everything on the lunch menu is breaded/fried, so I couldn't eat it). It was clearly Native-owned, which I was happy to support. However, the poor guy who took our order was the only one in the place. He was doing everything: stocking, cleaning, taking orders, cooking. We were there for nearly an hour when the other party's food came out. By this point, we had figured out that he was flying solo, so we were sort of hoping our food would come out at the same time. It didn't. We asked if ours had been started yet, and it hadn't. Seeing that we were staying 3 hours from the park, we had to leave to meet up with our family without having any lunch. This could easily have been avoided with a little communication from the get-go: "Hey, a large party just came in ahead of you. Just so you know, it's probably going to be an hour or more before you see any food." We would have left then and had time to get lunch before starting our drive back to Augusta. As it was, we paid for our 1 drink, made do with whatever snacks we had, and hit the road. Can't comment on the food and the guy was super nice, so I hate to leave a not-great review, but I can't imagine what would have happened if 2 or more of the parties from our boat ride had arrived at the same time we had. I think a little work on the staffing side would do wonders.
