Not really fit for a hotel front desk/customer service person. It looks like they do coffee service at front desk. Haven't tried any other amenities or sure of any other amenities existing. Parking is free in their lot. The second and third floor rooms have all been renovated with new bed, bathroom upgrades, and non-carpet flooring. The first floor, which technically is a semi basement floor, is still undergoing construction. Basically expect to use stairs for any level room you are on. No elevators. Great location to all the shops and restaurants in Kalispell. It was a good base to explore Glacier National Park as well.

I arrived super early and went to check in knowing there was a big probability I wouldn't be able to get into my room yet. Fortunately, the lady was super accommodating and checked me into a room that was ready. The room is super tiny but it was all I needed since I spent most of my time out exploring. The room was clean and furnished properly and had all the items I could possibly need. The bathroom and shower were small but clean and all of your towels and linens are provided. This location is extremely convenient and legit a 30 second walk from Lake McDonald. The views are spectacular. Each room had a designated parking spot right out front. That was great because I did come and go several times from restaurants and hiking. Due to COVID they are not coming into your room each day to clean but will happily provide you any additional items upon request. I only stayed for two nights so I did not have to request anything. I sent out a few post cards during my stay and the front desk was able to mail them out for me. You are in walking distance to several shops, Eddie's Cafe, water sport rentals and several hiking trails. The price was very reasonable when I booked. I can't wait until the day I can go back again!

I'm used to waiting and crowds and I know what it means for service industry folks to be in the weeds. That said, I actually don't think I've ever spent $50 on a worse breakfast experience for two and I don't say that lightly. There were a ton of open tables and they weren't slammed. Yet the service was atrocious - truly, and it wasn't just our server. The guest journey map: Our host grabbed a menu and led us to a table without a word. Another gentleman came by with drinks, and ten minutes later someone came by to ask whether we wanted à la carte or buffet items. At that point we chose the buffet. Someone came by another few minutes later with lukewarm coffee. We waited another several minutes for cream. The table next to mine got up to get their own from the server station, and then a server came by and apologized to them. Listen: The totally weird à la carte vs. buffet hybrid format is really odd. If your staff can't handle both formats simultaneously, choose to offer one or the other and do it well. It was a buffet but we had to wait forever for servers to bring drinks and silverware? Tables could be turned over ten times faster if all drinks were on the buffet line. Regarding the food itself: yes, there were a few types of juice in the buffet but no visible cups or even a spot where they'd be. We had to finish our table water and bring those cups up to the buffet? Totally odd. I respectfully request that the general manager review their scrambled egg recipe immediately. I'm not blaming the chef here because i have no doubt they're told what to do. But these aren't just powdered eggs: some kind of filler is being added intentionally and it's not OK - flour or something similar - the texture almost takes like cake batter. I heard multiple people around me talking about it. The dry sausage had no label saying what kind it was. The game sausage gravy had no label saying what kind of critter it was. The breakfast potatoes were overcooked and dry. French toast toppings were 20 feet away from the French toast, so you have to backtrack in line to add fruit. It's set up so very strange. It feels like the absolute cheapest ingredients are used here - and what a shame considering this is an NHTP destination hotel. This is not acceptable quality for a $25 breakfast. Verdict: Every single thing listed above can be fixed, easily and quickly, with the slightest bit of attention by management. This isn't a general staffing and quality control issue. I'm sure the staff are lovely. This is an oversight issue. I've had better free breakfasts at Super 8 motels in the side of the interstate. For $50, I felt like we got robbed.

Our double queen room was exactly as pictured online. After a long day of travel, falling into the pillowy bed was a dream. While there is no free breakfast available, there is a little coffee style cart in the lobby that offers a nice variety of coffee shop style options. We enjoyed some complimentary coffee and purchased items on the patio overlooking the golf course. There is also a fun little gift shop in the lobby area as well. If you are too tired to venture out for dinner after a long day of activities, Logan's is also located onsite. I think my favorite thing about the lodge is the amenities! Great indoor pool and sauna room with a beautiful hot tub overlooking the golf course. My tired muscles happily parked themselves in the hot tub after a long day of hiking! So the only real reason for the loss of a star is due to two minor issues. Issue #1 was the bathroom in our room. Our large walk in shower only had half of a typical sliding glass door. Half of this large shower was just exposed leaving us moping up the floor with towels after showers. Very strange! Not sure if this is every room or was specific to us but I didn't care for that. Issue #2 is the fact that there is currently no housekeeping service. I understand that covid is a concern but I think if they can serve unmasked diners in the restaurant, they can send a staff member in to clean while guests are out of the room. The room rate and resort fees are too high to eliminate basics. I didn't get a discount as a result of this so I must deduct a star. Despite the minor inconveniences mentioned, I absolutely enjoyed staying here and already plan to return. I hope the full array of services are made available when I return!

Checking in - 3 people at the desk, no greeting and only one was doing check ins and it took (not kidding) 15 minutes (management???). Beautiful bar/restaurant that really fits with the Montana vibe. Had drinks here -$20+ for a Negroni? Breakfast option is only a buffet, nothing else. It's ok at best. Nothing unique at all. Cost - $28. The area on one side is gorgeous lining a golf course. Looks like an event facility has been added in the back for weddings etc. beautiful. Transportation to the airport is provided at $23/person. Service at check out was much better. I should mention they have a small indoor pool and an outdoor hot tub.

I love the huge lobby, which has tons of space and seating to eat snacks, play a game, or whatever while looking out the huge windows over the lake. And often a random guest is playing a song on the piano. Our "Value Room" was comfortable and had everything you need. Service was great at the front desk and bell staff. There's a talk every evening; the nights we were there were a native storyteller and a ranger presentation on birds; very different, but both great, and something not many national park lodges offer.

We had a queen bed, a small table with two dining chairs, one nightstand, and a small stand with two drawers. There is a basic coffee machine, actually the kind I like as it just makes hot water, some coffee and teabags. Very tiny bathroom will fit one person only with a shower stall - good shower water can get too hot in fact if you are not careful. Good heating which is necessary as temps can be cold during the night even in mid June (daytime is in low 50s when we were here). Not a lot of surface to put stuff on. You have the option of not having housekeeping during the stay which we elected - this way we can spread out a bit more. This is the building closest to registration, store (quite well stocked with snacks and sandwiches etc) restaurant (counter order with mostly sandwiches and burgers and breakfast). One level only, center corridor access, plenty of parking in the back. Well located among trees. Only thing is getting here is 12 miles from the town of Babb and one third of that 12 miles half way in is an extremely dusty unpaved gravel road, the kind you won't won't to keep driving in and out on unless you have to. Which means for the time we are staying here, three nights, we decided not to leave the many glacier area since there are plenty of hiking trails here and several more restaurants in the fancier Many Glacier Hotel - about a mile from Swiftcurrent. Wifi is in the service building only, not in motels and cabins. There is no visitor center here but you can get hiking maps and there is a ranger station between the big hotel and Swiftcurrent. Nell's in the same complex is a counter order seat yourself restaurant. Mostly wraps and sandwiches. We had burger and chicken ceasar wrap. Both average as expected. The wrap skin was really tough so just ate the filling which was tasty enough like a salad. Seating might be a problem at peak times but we were able to find a table. They give you a number and bring the order to you. Orders came pretty fast. Tried breakfast here too which is not bad. As park restaurants go reasonable prices.

Budget style lodging…read more Friendly staff. We had 2 rooms. 1 motel style and the other at pine top. Pine top was smelly and I got eaten alive my first night. Staff was very helpful in switching our room with no hassle. The style was 60's but pretty clean. Appreciated the laundry facility. And they had a great gift shop with awesome hot chocolate.
