This bed and breakfast is an incredible place to stay! Chris and Rhonda provide outstanding hospitality and exceeded our expectations. The room was comfortable and clean with fresh flowers from the garden. At night there were "sweet dreams" truffles and in the morning coffee was delivered to the room. Since I'm an early riser, coffee was also offered on the front porch. The gourmet breakfasts were excellent, such as the puff pastry filled with scrambled eggs, shrimp, mushrooms, and fresh herbs, drizzled with lemon sauce or stuffed French toast with brandy sauce - I felt like royalty. Chris served organic fruit beautifully arranged, warm scones or muffins, fresh squeezed juice and hot coffee (their own blend) before the main dish. Rhonda is quite a chef! Chris offered beach towels when we went to Whitefish Lake for a swim, provided tips of where to explore the area and checked to see if we needed anything. Both Chris and Rhonda are warm, caring individuals that made our stay the best ever. We highly recommend when in Whitefish don't miss a chance to stay at the Garden Wall Inn!

This was an amazing place, the Inn is in a great location and our room was fantastic. A great tub and shower combination and a wonderful king size bed that was extremely comfortable. But the best aspect of the Inn are the innkeepers. Both Rhonda and Chris are extremely knowledgable about the area and all the restaurants and activities in Flathead Valley and Glacier Park. They do everything to make your stay very pleasant and enjoyable. Breakfast is fantastic, we were served mango and papaya and a wonderful soufflé. When we left at 6:00, they had coffee and fruit prepared for our travels. I can't say enough as to how accommodating they are, in the evenings they put out a very nice spread of wine and cheese. This is a wonderful place to stay and worth every penny of its cost!

My husband and I stayed at this lovely bed-and-breakfast for two nights while traveling in the Glacier National Park area. Upon arriving at this charming home we were greeted by Chris with evening hors d'oeuvres and drinks. Chris is very knowledgeable of the area and was a tremendous help in us planning our stay whether it was deciding where to go in the parks, going to dinner, evening music and he certainly made our stay quite enjoyable. The location is within a close walk to several restaurants and shops. Our room was comfortable and everything that we needed was already provided without even asking. Breakfast was absolutely delicious including organic and locally grown foods which I personally greatly appreciate. My husband and I enjoyed meeting other travelers staying here which is something you don't usually get when staying in a hotel or resort. The attention to detail was not overlooked in any way. Both Rhonda and Chris are delightful and wonderful hosts. I look forward to coming back to visit again.

Impeccable service!! Chris, one of the owners and innkeepers is amazing. He has a great style of being attentive, yet un-intrusive. We were pleasantly surprised by the attention to detail and overall inviting feeling of the inn. While the decor was not my style, it did not matter because everything else was so amazing. The food was delicious, Chris and the other owner are both trained chefs, and throughout our stay we felt like we were the innkeeper's priority. We were lucky enough to have Chris share some of his stories and experiences growing up in the area - who knew a wolverine had the ability to take on a grizzly bear? If you are looking for 5 star service with the coziness of a small inn, this is the place to be!!

After flying into…read moreBozeman and making the 5-hour drive to Whitefish, we arrived later than expected--but the self-check-in instructions were clear, detailed, and easy to follow. Shayla, our host, texted us ahead of time to make sure we were all set for a smooth check-in. That small gesture alone made us feel genuinely cared for. Each day, Shayla prepared the most delicious homemade baked goods, which made us feel like we were at a home away from home. Since we planned to head to Glacier National Park early each day, she kindly packed to-go breakfasts for us--always thoughtful, fresh, and satisfying. On the mornings we stayed in, she served beautiful homemade breakfasts that were just as delicious. The extra touches throughout the lodge made our stay even more special--the self-serve charcuterie, fresh fruit, and beverages were such a nice bonus. The lodge itself was peaceful and quiet, which we really appreciated. We stayed for five nights and can confidently say this was one of our favorite places we've ever stayed. Thank you, Good Medicine Lodge, for such a memorable experience!

As we stepped through the front door, we were greeted by a garden full of blooming peonies--such a lovely and welcoming touch. The house was immaculate, and everything was clearly labeled with helpful instructions. Whether you were heading out for a day in Glacier National Park or relaxing at the lodge, anything you could need was available--maps, bear spray, sunscreen, coolers, even wine and snacks for the trail. There were also cool drinks, water, and freshly baked goods waiting for us each evening--such thoughtful hospitality. Our bedroom was not the largest room in the lodge, but very comfortable. After long hikes in the park, we looked forward to soaking in the hot tub each evening. The backyard had BBQs, lawn games, and picnic tables--it would be a perfect place for a family reunion or even a small wedding. Kayla, our hostess, couldn't have been more helpful. She was warm, engaging, and full of great suggestions for exploring Glacier. She and her coworker Meghan prepared the most delicious breakfasts each morning--beautifully presented and thoughtfully tailored to our dietary needs. This place is truly a treasure. The owners are lucky to have Kayla and Meghan running the lodge with such heart and care. If you're visiting Whitefish, I highly recommend staying at Good Medicine Lodge.

As great as it is to visit Missoula, we usually get out and have an adventure and since she has fallen in love with the Whitefish area we decided to spend a couple of days there and lucked into staying at this world class lodge. Oktoberfest was going on so the town was abuzz and rooms were limited and Megan booked this for us, the last room they had. I have a feeling we just were in the right place and the right time with a cancellation or something because this place is something special. As you can see from my pics and others, this place is spectacular. The towering rock fireplace, the family-style dining area, my room was spacious, welcoming, and cozy. The bed was perfect, I slept so well in the cool Montana air! We were graciously fixed a delicious western Montana breakfast of sausage, pancakes, and a large bowl of fresh fruit- all with excellent coffee. But as with most places like this, it's the staff that really makes a difference. We were treated so well. Everyone took time to chat, give us the 4-11 on the area (bears and bikes). We were given ample time to check out and enjoyed time on the patio and drinking coffee by the fireplace. Whitefish has become a four-seasons destination and I can't believe there is a better lodge in the area, make this your first choice and you won't be disappointed!

Included breakfast was also very good. Front desk staff were great. My only hesitation is the cost. I couldn't believe the cash price for a peak season stay. I used Marriott points, and even that decent redemption was more points than I would have thought. The location is fine, but it's at the edge of Whitefish, definitely not near anything.
