Sara and Ryan and the team are amazing and friendly. They are very accommodating to vegans and vegetarians. they have a hot tub in the back so pack a swimsuit. It is near the ski lodge so nice to go for hikes. The food here for breakfast and happy hour you guys it's delicious! Cookies change daily! The coffee and cookies are heavenly. They have fresh lavender plants up front. If you are debating between a marriot property and here, please stay here for the experience and the price is comparable. Rooms are clean and sufficient space. There is a game room and library so after dinner you can play games or watch tv (quietly). My husband and I enjoyed playing nightly rounds of uno. I recommend anyone wanting to go visit glacier park stay here for the experience! Thanks again!

This review is long overdue! My husband and I stayed here earlier this year and the visit was fabulous. The lodge was exactly what we were looking for: cute, clean, comfortable, and quiet. The hosts are very down to earth, friendly, and just a lot of fun to chat with. Their food is amazing. I'm usually one that likes to explore a new area for breakfast but I find it hard to believe that you'd be able to top any meal they provide. Everything is made from scratch. The evening before you select from a few primary options but there is more than you can eat in two meals with the indulgent sides. Every single thing we tried was on point. They also had an appetizer and refreshment later in the day as the perfect way to wrap up skiing or kick-off your evening. Thanks for a great time! We've already recommended you to others and plan to be back in the future. Note: The lodge is in town with easy access to the ski hill. It's a good location for what we needed but not a remote experience if that's what you're hoping for.

Our stay here was fantastic. I wish we had been able to stay more nights. If we are back in the area we will definitely stay here again. The staff was extremely friendly and the food was incredible. The cookies, the breakfast made to order, the apps and drinks were all awesome. The coffee!!! -So good. Using the hot tub in the evening was nice. The bed was so comfortable it was the best sleep I had gotten on our entire trip. It was also great to be able to do our laundry for free while we were there. They also have a great selection of local gifts at much better prices than the local gift stores downtown.

Short form: Outstanding! Long form: We arrived early in the morning, way before check in time. We were warmly greeted by Ryan the owner. He was warm and lovely. He made sure we get coffee and a cake so we can go up skiing as soon as possible. Throughout our stay that was the main motive - Ryan and Sara doing their best to make sure you have the best vacation ever! It's the small things that matter - the coffee corner, the small hand made appetizers in the afternoon. The ice cold drinking water in your room. Add to that a lodge that is beautifully designed, the wood fire place, amazing breakfast, snow bus that picks you from the lodge entrance, great conversations with other guests. It was a perfect vacation. We're already checking dates for our next visit. Thank you Ryan & Sara!

The Good Medicine Lodge is a great place to stay! They are right in Whitefish, Montana and just a few minutes from the west side of Glacier National Park! We absolutely loved it! From our cozy room that looked out to the mountains in the mornings and the comfy bed, to all the great amenities they offer. No detail was forgotten. They remembered everything! Ryan and Sarah served the best breakfasts every morning! And their staff were so friendly and helpful! Ryan's homemade sourdough bread and fresh roasted coffees were amazing! They made us feel like family! We will definitely be back!

This bed and breakfast was the most fantastic lodging experience I have ever had! The attention to detail is superb and the both, Sarah and Ryan, the hosts, are phenomenal! They are so accommodating, have the greatest breakfasts, and the BEST cookies and sourdough bread around! It was fun to come in every afternoon to check out the new cookie flavor of the day and it never disappointed. Also, every afternoon, they offered snacks and drinks that we usually ate in the beautiful backyard garden. I absolutely loved my stay here, and cannot wait to come back!

Cigarette butts and a half eaten pills!…read more This place wasn't cleaned before we arrived and management company (Whitefish Escapes) felt like it was good enough. Outside of fact that they and the property owners (who they blamed) were unwilling to let us re-book our stay for a future date I am shocked they could pass this property to renters at all. They held us to every word of the 9 page agreement but then could not even have the place cleaned or the walkway cleared before we arrived. Cigarette butt and a half eaten pill on the night stand, egg covered pan put away as if clean, filthy towel left behind, water leaking from the vent in the downstairs bath, walkway from stairs to front door covered in snow/ice, door handle to the deck not functioning and past guest dirty clothing left behind. When I brought these up again after the trip and asked for a refund on the $350 cleaning fee they offered $100. I guess they agreed it was not clean but thought it was good enough for us. We were all grossed out by the property but more disappointed in Whitefish Escapes Management. If you are coming to Whitefish I would seriously avoid renting any property managed by them. Plenty of other options. We learned our lesson the hard way this time. Just to be clear, this review and rating have nothing to do with not being able to re-book for a future date or credit.

THOUGHT ABOUT OUR STAY AT 32 NELSONCREST - JULY 9-16 For…read moreseveral months we have looked with great anticipation to our week-long stay in Whitefish. The photos of the house and the view of Whitefish Lake were impressive and very appealing. We now know that photos taken at some time in the past do not accurately represent the current environment. In the case of 32 Nelsoncrest, they present an entirely misleading view. While none of us were anxious to leave Whitefish, we could not get out of that house fast enough. It could have been a very pleasant experience if you or the owners took a little time and money to properly stock the house and make necessary repairs. My wife and I entered the property at 3:45 on July 9 to be welcomed to a sauna. Literally! The living room temperature was 81 degrees. That was with the AC running, as well as three portable AC units and many fans. And that environment existed for the entire week. At some point each afternoon it reached 84 degrees! Not until the sun went down and we opened windows (those that could actually be opened) did the house start cooling down. By morning it was a pleasant 68 degrees. That lasted for a few hours until the sun again blasted through uncovered windows. I digress, the lower level kids bunkroom NEVER cooled down, without sufficient flow-through ventilation and no portable AC unit. The massive decorative windows might be a plus in the winter, but hardly in the summer. The issues with this property are numerous and described below. SUPPLIES/ FURNISHINGS If the house is going to be advertised as sleeping eight, there needs to be linens, extra towels, glasses, plates, and seating for eight. 1. Two rolls of toilet paper per bathroom and then you must buy your own. Really? 2. There were THREE glasses in the kitchen. Coffee mugs do not count. 3. Tissue box in master bath had two tissues left. No extra box found. 4. The house accommodates eight but the dining room table seats only six. 5. Patio has plenty of deck chairs but no table. 6. No bathroom wash cloths. 7. No kitchen towels of any kind. 8. One remote clicker only way in/out of garage. No button inside garage. Keypad outside garage but we were not provided code. Rather inconvenient. REPAIRS 1. Lower level kids bunkroom - torn wallpaper. How difficult is it to fix that? 2. Burned out light bulb in master bath. 3. Some doors need door stops to keep door from hitting wall. 4. Faucets in master bath and main floor bathroom need tightening. 5. Several windows need attention. We worked on the mechanism in three windows so they would open more easily. All should be looked at and serviced. 6. Deck surface will become a safety hazard. First, the deck covering is torn in one location, thus allowing water to seep below and damage whatever is underneath. It is already evident that water may have already affected the subsurface. Just walk on it and experience the give in the flooring. One day someone may just fall through. 7. The toaster over is disgusting and should be discarded. Would not always cut off. 8. Gas Grill - side burner and infrared worked but could not make main burners work. Infrared would not cut off so I turned off gas intake. 9. Replace accordion shades with real curtains. Please, at least cut the pieces to the height of the windows. More importantly, several windows could not be opened because the pieces of material could not be rolled up. And a great view of the lake from the kitchen window was hidden by shades that could not be rolled up. We also noticed that in the on-line house photos, none of these paper shades were shown. But then, neither did you show the portable AC units or floor fans. 10. The central AC unit might as well not exist. Even when running, it put out virtually no air. It would still take a lot to counteract the brilliant sunlight, but a new unit would certainly help. 11. Several light switches seem to control nothing? 12. Portable AC units are not thoroughly sealed at the window. The hot exhaust hose does not help the room temperature either. Maybe insulated hoses would help? 13. Major odor in kids bunkroom. We think it might be coming from the fireplace. It was noticed by everyone and nobody wanted to sleep in that room. This smell alone was almost reason enough to cancel the rental. It was almost unbearable and another potential health hazard. 14. The deck railing is a safety hazard and should be fixed immediately. Any weight pressed against it and the rail will fail. This is especially dangerous with young children running around. The deck would not pass any type of inspection. In summary, for an expenditure of nearly $3,200, we expected a lot more. If a little time and money were spent on this property, it might actually come close to the one we saw on your website. As it stands, I pity anyone else who has to ensure even one day at 32 Nelsoncrest.
