For those on cycles, the each carport could easily handle 4 bikes if parked thoughtfully. They are also paved, but the road leading in to them is hard packed gravel. It was still easy to navigate on the bike. The place is in a very quiet area, with beautiful scenery all around. I liked the chairs out on the porch to rest and just chill. The Trapper Saloon is just down the street and is kid friendly. There are more food choices a little further into town. The room itself was decent. Not the most updated place for charging devices. The carpet was well used and little things like the bathroom missing a toilet paper holder are what to expect. (They did have a sticky on it to apologize.) The room I was in had a small fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, not Keurig type as advertised. No biggie to me though. When checking in, the woman at the desk was very friendly and they have an assortment of local ware for sale there. Overall a good experience.

That included a wedding party that was booked somewhere else, that unfortunately had also lost power. Twenty-six needed rooms and Suzanne and her crew made the wedding party VERY happy! The room is super spacious and comfortable with the rustic charm of western comfort! Their Wi-Fi was not working properly and Jordan got it fixed in a minute. Their blanket service is fantastic with super clean and individual plastic cover. Overall this is by far the best "Best Western" I have had the chance to visit. I had made my reservation months in advance, but realized--at the very last minute--that I had accidentally booked the night before instead of the actual night of. Total panic set in. Riley was incredibly kind and calm. She spoke with her manager and was able to fix my mistake, saving me from what could have been a stressful end to an otherwise perfect day. I was beyond relieved! Dell, the gentleman who checked us in, was quite friendly and helpful. The room was situated off the main road and was pleasantly quiet. The room is fairly spacious, easily accommodating the king-size bed and two night stands, fridge, dresser & desk, love seat and coffee table. Shower/toilet area small with fan providing only ventilation. Nice shower head. Both tub and sink were slow-draining, and my bath towel smelled like cigarettes despite the room designation as "non smoking". I guess the person servicing the room is a smoker. Vanity is a reasonable size, and was outfitted with a wall-mount hair drier and a generous supply of towels. Included in the vanity area were a microwave and a12-cup coffeemaker (with bagged ground coffee & filters). Free WiFi and TV are also included A "full breakfast" is included with the room charge -- will report on that after we try it in the morning.

Not a terrible place to spend a night, as long as you don't mind older accomodations…read more I've stayed here a couple of times while working in Eureka, mostly because there are not a lot of other choices and I enjoy staying a motel connected to a gas station/convenience store/Subway. Seriously - you check in for the motel at the convenience store counter. The place is old, perhaps very old, and not in very good shape. But the beds are comfy enough, the doors and windows lock (though my last room only had the doorknob lock and no deadbolt - kind of weird, but it is BFE Montana, I guess). Furniture is worn and looks a bit dirty even when it is clean. The staff I've talked to have always been friendly and the place is good enough, especially for $62/night. Last time I was here I had my wife and dogs, I think it might have been a few bucks more for each of them. Another negative - the Ksanka is at least a mile from "downtown" Eureka and not a very walkable place. Bottom line: my loyalty might be tested if there were more choices in Eureka, but the Ksanka isn't terrible. Probably 2.5 stars, but I rounded up because 2 sounds too crappy and it's not really that bad.
