Don't come here this month!!! We were told ahead of time that the bathrooms were under renovation so no big deal. We have our own. What we didn't know was that there would be tractors going through the place all day long. Not peaceful at all. To be fair, they did issue a bit of a refund for the inconvenience after we got here but if I had know about the "construction" we wouldn't have stayed here. Having said that, the person running the place, Denise, is super nice and helpful. But, no store, no ice, no fires aloud, no conveniences like we usually find at an RV park. We spent three nights in the campground. It was easily accessible and close to everything. The bathrooms and laundry room were clean and the showers were hot. The managers spent a lot of time working on the property but were always willing to stop and say hi or help out. The campground itself was quiet itself. The road was a constant source of noise but it wasn't too bad and not something they could change anyway. All in all we were quite pleased and would definitely stay here again. read more

What a friendly park! Denise and Tom Lewis, who run this place, are why. They set the tone and everyone seems to follow. We met several of our neighbors and now have friends from all over the country. Spaces are close together, but large enough so you do not hear the campers next door snoring at night. Full hookups that are placed where they should be (you'd be surprised...) It's summer and they are full most all days, but Denise made every effort to accommodate an extra day request. This park is only a short and easy mile walk south of Old Town Whitefish on a side street, not the main highway. We were scheduled for a 3 night stay but had so much to do around here we begged for one more night. I highly recommend WRV. Have fun and say hi to Denise for me! read more

Cute and cozy RV park in beautiful Whitefish. You won't even know it's there because it's behind two businesses which include a small strip shopping center and a motel off of highway 93. This park is well maintained by super great hosts Tom and Denise. We were able to pull our 44' toy hauler in our space easily. Beware of two large pot holes on the right side entrance into the shopping center you pass to get into the park. There are lots of pine trees in this park but Tom keeps the branches clear so you don't have to worry about damaging your RV. The laundry and bathrooms are professionally maintained and very clean. Water and sewer hook ups are well kept and had no issues with either. The free WIFI was down for a few days while we were there. The internet provider had to order some part or piece of equipment. Once it was repaired the service was a little slower than what I am accustomed to but way better than my mobile phone service provider (Sprint doesn't work well in this area!) Big Mountain Ski Resort, Glacier National Park and Whitefish Lake are nearby. Fun shopping in downtown Whitefish is a must see along with breweries and good eats. This park is walking distance close to Super 1 grocery store, Cowgirl Coffee Shop, Army Navy Store and Sportsman & Ski Haus for all your camping, hiking and outdoor needs and an Ace Hardware store. Friendly Montana hospitality and excellent location will be bring us back to this RV Park! read more

We stayed at the Whitefish RV Park for 3 nights back in June. Overall, the campground is nice - well-kept and conveniently located just south of downtown Whitefish along Hwy 93. However, for the nightly rate of $42 plus an additional $5 charge per night for our dogs, I expected a bit more. The pet area is very small and not enclosed so it doesn't allow for off-leash play, and no pet waste bags or designated trash cans were provided, leading me to question why we were charged an extra $5 per night for our dogs. I understand hotels charging a fee for pets to cover any additional cleaning expenses or minor damages, but what are pets getting dirty or destroying at an RV park -- the inside of my own travel trailer? The restrooms were clean, but as a woman, I don't like when any RV park provides showers without a door that latches for safety and privacy purposes. It makes me uneasy to have just a curtain and a frosted glass door, both of which prevent me from seeing anyone coming, stand between my naked self and a potential stranger, especially at night. I don't want to fear for my well-being or that my belongings might be stolen every time I hear the restroom door open. The WiFi was non-existent during our stay and considering we had virtually no service in the area (Sprint), we had counted on this amenity to research things to do while in town and help us plan for the next few legs of our trip. Instead, we had to spend part of our time in town connecting to the local breweries' WiFi to look things up while we enjoyed our beers. With as many options as there are in the area, this RV park may want to address some of these concerns in order to remain competitive. read more

These folks have a really tight run ship here. The manager and her husband were very attentive without being invasive or pesky, and we got some good local insight and recommendations from them. Facilities are clean and plentiful, and most importantly, GOOD WATER PRESSURE in the showers. 10/10 would recommend. read more

Best place to stay! Traveling and camping with my boyfriend and ended up staying here for three nights. Has all the amenities you need. Located close to the mall and many other stores. Downtown is a bit over a mile away, but easy to get to! Would recommend this place if you're camping or in a camper, and want to chill for a bit. The staff was very kind and attentive. read more

We came up in our RV in the winter totally unprepared for the winter blizzard that hit us just as our LP ran out.. Cori and the rest of the team at this RV Park really came through and delivered a tremendous level of service. They helped thaw out our lines and watched over the whole park and our rig when we weren't there. We had a neighbor who's dogs barked for over 3 hours, told Tom and the owners were called to return to RV. Very much appreciated as the dogs seemed very distressed. This awesome park is tucked away behind a casino so there is no road noise. The grounds are well maintained and the spots are setup under the trees. The laundry and bathrooms were sparkling clean. Our hosts were great, super helpful! We will be back!! read more

We had a great spot right next to a grass picnic area with our own park bench, great location as it 6 min to old town where it's all happening. I left my surge protector by accident at the site. We called the park after realizing it was left thinking it was gone for good but Corey was awesome as he found it and had it in the office. Corey save me $100.00 and he even brought out to our truck when we returned. Very convenient RV park. read more

Nice owners, flexible with us when we wanted a few extra hours to ski in our last day before pulling out the camper. Bathrooms very clean, hot showers, and campsite overall quiet even though it's close to the road. We were here in the winter, so many sites snowed in but there's grassy areas and a playground and picnic tables at the sites. Stayed 2 nights - affordable and would stay again. read more

We recently stayed at the Whitefish RV park and were not impressed. The park is very tightly packed and some of the RV spots are very small and difficult to park in. Our main complaint however was with the management of the park. We made reservations 2 months in advance, when we showed up they did not have our reservations in their system. We were told we could stay 4 days in a site but may have to move. The site we originally wanted by the way was empty but we were told that a 'long termer' was coming in so we could not have it. Half way through our 8 day stay we were called on our cell phone and told we had to move our RV to a new spot, we had to do this immediately. We were on the lake so made our way in and 45 minutes later had our RV moved to the new smaller spot (which did not accommodate opening our toy hauler door). The spot we vacated was then empty and remained empty for the rest of stay, so why we had to immediately move, or move at all for that matter, is beyond us. The office staff were flustered, confused and depending on who you talked to you received different answers. We spoke with at least 4 other RVers at this park, all of which had lost reservations, had issues with the front office staff or, like us, had to move spots only to have their initial spot stay empty. Until the management at this RV park changes I would steer clear! read more

Don't waste your time at this RV park. The Internet service is S-L-O-W as it gets. It is impossible to check emails let alone stream and kind of video. You have to pay for tv and Internet as a part of your package but you get three to four channels at best and no internet to speak of. There's no rhyme or reason to how your fifth wheel or RV is reserved. The turns are tight and with cars parked all over the road you can hardly get your outfit in the place. The office will put a giant RV in a tiny spot, while a small bumper pull is in a huge oversized spot! There's no thought to placement at all. There are several regulars that are very, very nice - but there are a few that will make your time miserable. There's an old couple that are right on the corner across from the office that may give you trouble. Old man walks around the park and yells at people for various things. There are dead trees everywhere and I even saw two old men (the same old man who yells at everyone) out trying to cut down trees between fifth wheels. The old man that feels he is in charge is abrasive, rude, and honestly the sole reason I will never rent a spot here again. He is a year round resident. A few times I've noticed him wandering around other spots while people are away from their camper! This used to be a nice place but now it is falling apart. Stay away! read more
