Rows and rows of wine! Love the warm decor.
Charlotte B.

Great place to go if, like me, you're still figuring out what wines you like, and/or want to try before committing to a full glass. I haven't been to any other place that has these (apparently now very popular) pay by card, vending spouts, so this was a new concept for me. I like it! Even if you prefer a human person to pour your tastes, don't discount Uncorked as the owner and personnel there are quite helpful and friendly. Their offerings are quite diverse and vary in price so there is something for everyone. For eats my husband and I shared a flat bread, a cheese plate and a salad, all of which were fresh and delicious. I particularly enjoy the decor. Uncorked has a warm, Tuscany feel to it. As with many establishments in Raleigh you almost forget you're in a strip mall. But you are, and there's parking and it's easy to get to. I love to come here anytime I want to go to a winery for a tasting but don't have the time for a day trip to Boone or the beach. I'm a fan!

Thanks to a Living Social, Sis & I decided to do our monthly Dinner/Wine-Out here, and we were so glad we did! Atmosphere is rustic, yet warm (which is good because it was a COLD night)...only thing missing is a fireplace. Fortunately there is plenty of wine to keep you warm. Apparently they have sold a bunch of these Living Socials because that was the first question out of our Server's mouth...were we there for that? Yeppers! With our deal came a bottle of wine, two house salads, two flatbreads and one shared dessert. Sis paid just twenty-five bucks or so for this feast and feast we did. We were asked what kind of wine we wanted, but when we said Chardonnay, were told another table got "the last bottle". No biggee, it was a cold red kind of night, so Red we did. We started with small but fresh and tasty salads with mandarin oranges (not usually Sis's thing, but she liked it fine) and a good balsamic. We got our choice of several flatbreads. Chose a seasonal one that had Chicken, Bacon, Mustard and cheeses. Along with one with fig, prosciutto and arugula. Both were quite good and bigger than we expected. (Sis took a piece of each home). We finished off our pleasant experience with a really yummy Berry Tart with ice cream. (there were several desserts to choose from). Overall we really liked this place and were so glad that Living Social led us here, since it is quite close to home for both of us. Especially glad to hear that they have free wine tastings on Friday nights. Must go back to try all those wines that are lined up waiting for us to purchase a card and try 'em all!

What a wonderful atmosphere and great wine and food. I enjoyed my afternoon. We had a chance to meet the owner as well and enjoy a conversation about wine and life.

A great variety of wines and craft beers on tap. Saturday nights they have live music and a variety of drink specials during the week. The spinach dip is delicious and served with warm naan. Locally owned by people who love what they do. Everyone is always friendly and helpful. The wine variety to buy, to enjoy by the bottle, or to enjoy on tap is very large. All wine drinkers can find something to enjoy. The atmosphere is intimate so it's a great date night or night out for a few friends!

Chala and her staff were awesome! So friendly and such a cozy lovely environment to enjoy wine and kick back. The appetizers were also wonderful. Definitely a hidden gem at North Raleigh.

Margarita flat bread, spinach dip, Rotation Red Blend

While the space is small, the atmosphere is lovely with a nice selection of wine. It has a little something for everyone. We really enjoyed the Rotation Red Blend, and the margarita flatbread was tasty. The spinach artichoke dip was just okay, and a few more options on the food menu would be a good addition. The live music (a vocalist/guitarist named Pat) was very entertaining- we love Pat!

The food was so good, great wine selection, and great service. My flat bread was adapted to my taSte. We also ordered the spinach dip and it was really good too. It's a cute space with great wines and also a selection of beers as well!

We checked this place out last night (had a Living Social that was about to expire in a few days). The service was amazing. The entire team works together so we ended up chatting with 4 different employees. The spinach dip was pretty good but not the best I've ever had but the bruschetta was downright AMAZING (and I've been to Italy) so I was super impressed! I didn't even get to take a picture fast enough before we started devouring it. They also had this chocolate cake they make in house and it was to die for. I love the atmosphere in this bar - very well designed. And I tried three 1/2 glasses of wine (from their wine dispenser machines) and each one was delish! GO CHECK IT OUT!

This place is under new management...a South African husband & wife team. They kept the free wine tasting but moved it to Friday. I'm impressed by their selection of Italian & South African wines, and the new owners are super friendly and helpful. It attracts an over-40 crowd, but somehow that doesn't bother me. It's refreshing to be around a more mature crowd!

I came after work for their customer appreciation event to wind down before going home. It was my 2nd visit. My 1st was great and this one not so much. The baguettes to my charcuterie plate were so hard I couldn't cut into them. The server told me about the $3 wine for the event but poured me short pours of wine that wasn't offered for the $3 price. When the gentleman next to me received a larger glass and normal pour of wine I didn't question it because I thought my pour was the special. Until I paid my bill and it was higher than expected. Without any fuss I paid, tipped and left. I will not be back. For it to be "Customer Appreciation" I didn't feel as if I was appreciated at all.

Cheers!

Great wine & music playlist! Lauren is super fun & brings extra baguettes! :) Love this great neighborhood spot with a fun atmosphere & nice outdoor seating.

The North Hills spot ( 4421 Six Forks Road in Raleigh, beside Total Wine) feels settled in the best way. Comfortable, Welcoming, Cozy. We started slowly. A wine flight. Truffle fries with truffle aioli, parmesan, oregano. Marinated olives layered with citrus and herbs. Nothing too over the top, but generous and satisfying. The kinds of plates you keep reaching for without realizing it. For dinner, we had the the NY Strip (North Carolina pasture-raised Angus with Diane sauce and a French onion potato gratin). And the roasted whole fish (with hazelnut gremolata, citrus beurre blanc, and confit sunchoke). Both cooked to perfection, nothing missing, and absolutely delicious. What stuck with us the most htough, the service. Ben and Oscar were sharp, attentive, and present without being overbearing. They made the evening feel even more incredible. Some places try hard to impress - Foxcroft Food & Wine just delivers (time and time again).

The business was clean and there is also a bar inside. The restaurant has a large selection of wines and offers flights for purchase. The restaurant had some people dining in but they were not overly packed. Initially our server was pleasant and attentive. I got a blood orange sparkling water. It was ok. I ordered the whipped ricotta for an appetizer to share and a burger with fries for my entree. The whipped ricotta was ok. It would taste better with some sort of seasoning in it. My fries were served hot but needed some salt. I asked for my burger to be cooked well done but I was brought a burnt burger. I took one bite but it was too overcooked. I then requested that my server have my burger be cooked medium well so I didn't get another burnt burger. When my burger was brought back out, our server had me cut into my burger to make sure it was to my liking. The preparation was better but it was bland and tasted like there wasn't any seasoning on it. After this our server wasn't as attentive anymore. For dessert we got the donuts. They were served warm and I enjoyed them with the cherry sauce. I did not like the chocolate sauce that was served with the donuts.

I assume it's really hard to grab one of those, but luckily there's also a free parking garage nearby, so that's where we ended up parking. Inside, there is a combination of standard table seating and a few couches here and there. My wife grabbed a glass of wine while I ordered a beer, and everything was pretty reasonably priced. As expected, the wine selection was much more extensive than the beer selection :) The staff were polite and attentive throughout. We also shared a plate of hummus and crackers and everything was pretty tasty. Overall, I'd definitely come back here if I was in the area and wanted to chill out for a bit.
