As if White Street couldn't get more charming, enter Unwined on White! I can't believe it's taken me so long to come enjoy this new addition! As you walk in Unwined is quite small, but there is more as you walk back (a space used as a yoga studio) and then walk right upstairs to the rooftop to enjoy a lovely view of historic downtown Wake Forest. One of the owners welcomed us in, told us about the offerings and even let me sample wine before purchasing a glass. Again, this is a smaller store, but they offer a good selection of reds and whites, four by the glass at a time I believe and you can purchase a bottle to enjoy there. They do tastings on the first and third Fridays of the month from 7-9pm. This day I enjoyed a glass of Archer Roose Carmenere. They have beer but not on tap - bottles and cans only. Even so, seems the selection is fair, at least according to my beer loving sister who joined me this day. The decor is a nice mix of modern minimal and southern charm. Light music played over speakers on the rooftop as I sipped my wine and I'm totally in love.

Wonderful atmosphere! Great place to meet friends for a drink and enjoy downtown Wake Forest.

I have been looking everywhere for Mead and this place has quite a few options!! They also had craft beer for sale which is always a plus. My husband and I ordered a few drinks from the bar and enjoyed all of our choices. Though the bar was busy, service was quick and attentive. There was a ton of indoor and outdoor seating, not including the extra tables and chairs that were brought out for the festival. I will most definitely be back when the time comes! The host was fine, the bartender was fine, there was a nice crowd and it appeared everyone enjoyed themselves. I didn't observe any rudeness on the part of the staff or other patrons. So that's the Monday trivia review. On to the place itself. It's a nice bottle shop and bar in Youngsville. They have a nice selection of beer and wine (on tap and to go) and offer some small snack items when a food truck or the "empanada lady" isn't there. I've been here twice in the last month and both experiences were positive!! It will be the occasional stop in Youngsville when I'm up that way. Check them out if you happen to be in the area.

There's plenty of parking in the parking lot. There were several other patrons when I arrived. We were celebrating a birthday and I forgot to bring the gift...how perfectly that they have gift bags for wine. I let the owner know and she brought everything to me, I just had to let her know that I wanted a bottle of red. While we waited for everyone else to arrive, we ordered food. We ordered the crab & shrimp dip, two of the flatbreads, the El Jefe & the Pear Brie & Bacon. The dip comes with warm pitas, it was tasty. The flatbeds were really good, especially the El Jefe, we ordered a second one. The combination is something I'd never think to put together, but went together perfectly. Since we were celebrating a birthday we also had the creme brûlée...delicious. The wine!!! So when I arrived, my friend was just getting the red wine flight, she loved each of them. I tried the Cabernet Sauvignon, so perfect and smooth. We had the best time & are looking forward to going back at least monthly. It's super cute & there's plenty of seating. The staff is amazing, so friendly and so welcoming. They know their wines, are can help you find whatever you're looking for.

A nice idea for plans for dinner prior or after. The Service and R&B music were excellent here but my date and I find the wine unimpressive. I also had Chardonnay (not a favorite), red and something similar to Malbec. I only enjoyed the Riesling. This is a very quaint wine shop, there is not a lot of space or seating but it's perfect for just two.

When we arrived, we were seated right away and asked to choose our tea flavor. I loved that each person gets their own full pot of tea. It made the experience feel extra special. The food was absolutely delicious! We started with a fresh salad, followed by a beautiful three tier tray filled with sandwiches and desserts. From the scones to the bonbons and mini cakes, everything was flavorful and thoughtfully prepared. The staff were incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. It truly felt like a full experience, not just a meal. If you are looking for something fun and a little different, I highly recommend trying the tea experience. And if that is not your thing, they also operate as a café where you can stop in and enjoy a treat without committing to the full tea service. Either way, it is definitely worth a visit!

I think the decor could have some softer furnishings to break up the hard angles and lean into the cozy vibe a bit more. Lots of angles and metal. I'd pop in some soft ivory stools at the bar end for a really lux vibe. Hostess and server were nice. Efficient. Definitely a place to keep on rotation.

The space is cozy, not too big, and lovely. Everyone we interacted with was incredibly friendly & attentive. We even got to meet the Chef and let him know how amazing his curated and creative dishes were! We sat at the bar and were able to be seated right away. We each opted for a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon (or two). On to the food! The menu is extensive but not overwhelming. Plenty of delicious and appealing options of small plates to share, but also a few larger ones. We started with the Goat Cheese Stuffed Piquillo Peppers & Truffled Deviled Eggs. Both of these were amazing. The Peppers melt in your mouth and had so much flavor. The Deviled Eggs had the perfect amount of truffle flavor and were perfectly cooked. Next we opted for the Baguette of the day - this one was served with Salami, Burrata, and Arugula. The bread was perfectly crispy and all of the toppings fresh and delicious; this was a perfect combination! Lastly, it was between the Lamb Sliders Trio and the Paella! I really wanted to try the Paella, but my sister and I decided that we would try something a bit lighter and the Sliders looked so elevated, unique, and delicious. They sure did deliver! Served with fresh Goat Cheese, Guacamole, Fresh Jalapeño, Caramelized Onions, and Sriracha, which we got on the side. This dish was absolutely amazing! So different. You wouldn't think to put those flavors together, but it was so great and we would hands-down get it again! All of the food at Vinos Finos was delicious, fun, and fresh. I love how the Chef puts together various flavors that you wouldn't expect. We cannot wait to go back!
