Generous portions, friendly staff! I had lunch at Uncle Paulie's located inside Durango casino the other day, and it was a solid spot! The menu prices are a little steep, but the portions are generous! I ordered the chicken Vodka Parm, and the flavors were good, unfortunately the chicken was a bit chewy and lots of tendons crunching. Staff were amazing and a clean facility! I would return to try a different sandwich!

while staying at Durango Casino we stumbled upon uncle Polly's always a pleasure is their motto. We ordered sausage breakfast sandwich sandwiches that included hash brown for extra charge the customer service was great. The line was great. The food was delicious. I haven't had a good breakfast sandwich in a long time. I highly recommend. The ambience is in a food court, but there's also seating around the counter.

First off. Wow. This place was so good! We asked the chef at the front what she would have if she was in our shoes and she pointed us to the carmine and the chopped cheese. So many choices and now I have to come back to try the others. The carmine is a roast beef hot sandwich cooked to perfection and wrapped in thick butchers paper, trust me the paper makes a difference! So simple yet so flavorful and delicious. They don't skimp out on the meat and you could tell just by watching her vibe out to some Mott the hoople playing on the radio while making our food that this spot was going to be fire! The chopped cheese was basically a cheese burger chopped with all fixinns on the grill. So simple yet so f***** tasty. A little dollop of ketchup and your first bite is going to be so good. I even heard someone say eating here was like the first time he heard the Beatles and I can't disagree with him! Anyways I neeed to come back and try a cold cut next time! Thank you guys

Diane and I met friends to eat in the Durango Casino's food hall. We split up to select individual choices for dinner. Diane opted for a plain Just For You B0urger from Irv's Burgers. She liked the slice of melted American Cheese on top of the quarter-pound burger, and the Sesame Seed Bun, but was dissatisfied with the well done beef patty inside. I, on the other hand, fully enjoyed my foot-long The Lester Diamond pastrami sandwich with just enough yellow mustard slicked on the interior folds of the baguette, and pieces of pickle to join with the lean pastrami nestled inside. My order of French Fries mixed with Gravy and topped by Melted Mozzarella Cheese was an ideal accompaniment that I could barely finish in one sitting. The food I consumed was excellent, but it was rather inconvenient to get situated at a table and then return to the cash register after underestimating how long it might take to fulfill the order. And, rather than purchase a can of diet soda at Uncle Paulie's, I went to the bar and obtained a Diet Pepsi in a plastic cup. I expected to pay for this drink but the bartendress would only accept a cash tip. I need to return soon to Durango Casino's food hall to sample one or two of Uncle Paulie's cold subs that beckon, and totally different food offerings from other vendors. There is much territory left to explore here.

Part of the popular 'Eat Your Heart Out' food hall in the Durango Casino and Resort in Las Vegas, Uncle Paulie's is the 4th location of a NY-style deli originally started in LA. I've not had the opportunity to try their sandwiches yet, so was glad to order a classic Italian ($19) for our sampling lunch on a Friday afternoon. The food hall does not support a pager or messaging system, so you basically have to wait around the vendor to get your food. In our case, we had other things to order and came back to Uncle Paulie's 15 minutes later. It seemed like they had staffing issues: the food hadn't been started yet. When this was realized, the manager/cashier stopped what he was doing to focus on making the sandwich (which still took a bit of time since the meat and cheese had to be hand sliced). The sandwich was beautifully and tightly wrapped in butcher paper and had plenty of heft. I was disappointed when I ate the sandwich. Positives: very thinly sliced meat and cheeses, piled generously. Very finely (almost shaved) iceburg lettuce. Use of pickled roasted peppers. Cons: the bread, it reminds me of what you get at a grocery store, hefty, pretty tasteless, would be fine for a hamburger but not for a cold cut sub. It's hard to describe how I like my bread for a sub, but have decided that if I would eat multiple servings of it with room temperature European butter as part of a bread basket, I would love it as a base for a sub. But this tasted more like sesame white bread or bun that you would pick up from the grocery store. The sandwich as a whole was also very dry...could have used more dressing. I ended up eating about a fourth of the sandwich, and saved the rest for later. I did end up eating the rest at home, almost 3 days later, and was able to dress it up to my tastes using mayo, red wine vinegar and the removal of the underside bread (which had gotten pretty slimy from the wet lettuce and peppers). It tasted pretty good, and confirmed that quality meats and cheeses were used.

My husband and I decided to try Uncle Paulie's for dinner. Unlike the first week of Grand Opening, there was no wait/line to order our food. We decided to get their Italian sandwich to share. Their Italian sandwich is good and they provide a good amount of filling. However, their bread was way too thick/dense. We found ourselves tasting more of the bread than the filling at some points in our meal. I think as far as sandwiches go, it was OK. However, when I think about the price of their sandwich and the options we have in the valley, I'm not sure if they would be one of our top choices. Not a bad option if you have dining credits though!

I walked around Eat Your Heart Out the food hall in Durango Station looking for lunch options. I got a nice table between the two establishments that my husband and I chose. It was very clean and bright. I decided on Uncle Paulie's because they had gluten free bread. I was so excited to be able to order The Ace which is pastrami with swiss and slaw. Steven was working the counter and was super nice. Unfortunately it was the worst pastrami sandwich I've ever had. I understand the sandwich will be a little more dry than normal because of the gluten free bread but the entire sandwich was so dry that I couldn't eat it.

The Italian sandwich is stacked with meat and cheese! The meat wasn't your usual over salted Italian salami and pepperoni, which is definitely an upsell for me. Adding a yellow pepper of any sort would take this sandwich to the next level for me. I should have paid attention to the type of bread this sandwich was served on, because I don't love sesame seeds! The ingredients definitely feel elevated. I know this is a sandwich shop, but I think it's important to have high quality ingredients in any type of restaurant. The design of the restaurant also felt good! I love the way the Bar top feel of their seating area, very large and spacious. The person that took our order was very polite. It seemed like the other staff were on their breaks, so the order took awhile to be made. Besides that, would come again!

Came on a Wednesday around 3pm. We were able to order right away and the sub came out very quickly, I want to say around 5-8 mins, Ordered the Lester diamond (pastrami, pickles, Swiss , yellow mustard on a baguette) $15 and it was delicious. The warm and toasty baguette took it to another level. Macaroni salad was dry and more on the flavorless side, def not worth $5. Cashier was very friendly and the ambiance was spacious and clean. Everything was great but I gave 4 stars bc it's a bit overpriced ($15-19).

In trying the different offerings in the food court (hall) at Durango Station, I went to Uncle Paulie's for a sandwich. I stopped at the order counter and took a look at the many choices, both hot and cold. After a short time, I decided on the Downtown Turkey. I also asked for an iced tea. Paying on Wednesday with points--1/2 off when using points (My Generation program). Because this was a self comp I had to sign the slip. The counter person asked for a name and she said I'd be called when the sandwich was ready. Although there are a few seats at the counter, I sat at one of the tables in the food hall area. The iced tea was given to me when I ordered because their drinks are bottled with the Uncle Paulie's name on them. In about 5 minutes, my name was called and I got the sandwich from the counter. Wrapped nicely, the Downtown Turkey is a sub with lots of sliced turkey, sliced provolone cheese, roasted red peppers, shredded iceberg lettuce, and topped with an onion and red wine vinaigrette. It was a sesame seed roll. The sandwich was good tasting and there was a lot of turkey. I guess I missed tomato I usually get with my subs but it was OK. The iced tea was unsweetened which was good. The counter person was quite pleasant. Service was quick. I saw someone using a meat slicer, and I'm guessing they were slicing the turkey for the sandwich. They are a bit pricey and I can get the same at other sandwich places at a cheaper price. It was good to have the 1/2 off perk. Paulie's is not a place I'd go to as a destination but I might eat there again if I were at Durango.

The OG American and spicy Lester diamond are bomb. I ordered these through DoorDash, but the many times I've been in Durango staff always seem very nice. The restaurant always looks very nice and organized. Will definitely come eat there next time I go.

Give credit to the Marketing team promoting Uncle Paulie's in Las Vegas. The hype pulled me in once again! February 2024 I ventured into Durango super pumped to experience the famous Uncle Paulie's. Clean and efficient this Cali based sandwich shop first opened in 2017 on Beverly Blvd. I ordered the Italian: Italian Cold Cuts, Provolone, Roasted Red Peppers, Iceberg, Onion & Red Wine Vinaigrette. Price $16.00 + 1.50 (to make it spicy) Damn hype got me again. In my humble opinion this sando left me sadly underwhelmed. I'll opt to try a new spot on my next sandwich hankering.

One of the things that we really appreciate is the dill pickle spear that we get with each of our sandwich orders. Having that pickle on the side really makes the order feel complete. It's like having a burger and fries or chips and a sandwich. At the deli, you expect the pickle with your sandwich. This was not the case the last time that we ordered food from here. We stopped in on Mother's Day. We ordered our sandwiches. Everything seemed fine. Our sandwich containers got pushed along the line and when they were ready, they called our name. Simple right? No. Not exactly. The cashiers were quick to take our money and we were just as quick to bring our sandwich back, upset and disgruntled. We felt gypped. None of us got pickles. We didn't know why. The hubby was upset! He went to the cashier to complain. He told them that he would like to be refunded his tip, simply for the fact that they never mentioned the fact that there were no pickles available today. He was not asking for a refund on his sandwich. He just thought that they could've pasted a bit better discretion and making sure that all of the customers there knew that there were no available for Sandwiches today. I can't even tell you how upset he was. Like I said, I know it seems like a silly thing, but it's like missing the fries to your burger or the chips to your sandwich. The whole entire sandwich felt incomplete!!! So like I said, a refund for the tip was requested. Instead, the cashier ended up refunding the entire cost of one of the sandwiches. We tried to compromise with the deli, asking that maybe we buy a side of potato salad, but instead because of the problem with the pickle being unavailable, maybe they only charge half of the regular price of that sign. We're trying to upsell ourselves. Not Conley. The cashier didn't say anything. She just had a crunching. She didn't make eye contact. She never said sorry. She just went ahead to refund the cost of no one and that wasn't. Now, granted that was still a good amount, but the whole ordeal really so simple to dissolve. We were really disappointed in the lack of enthusiasm in the cashier trust us. We were also even more upset with the fact that the deli wouldn't let people know ahead of their ordering that there were no pickles. The hubby suggested that maybe they put out a sign saying that there were no pickles available today. One of the employees said, "oh no, we can't do that!!" I have a feeling they were worrying about the pickle situation and announcing it because then people would turn away from the restaurant. But, I understand that. For some people, a pickle is serious business. I know it seems crazy but at the same time. I get it. There's plenty of ample seating in and outside of the deli. It's always fun to sit there with people watch. Sometimes the line at the deli is exceedingly long, but don't be discouraged. Unless of course they're out of pickles, the line moves pretty quickly. Hopefully the next time that we pay this deli a visit, the pickle situation will have been resolved.

The super friendly and welcoming cashier gave us some samples to try. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with potato salad. We also ordered the specialty sandwich I believe with steak and mushrooms. Everything was tasty. The service was super friendly and warm. I wish we got the cashier's name as he was so kind and made sure we were happy with everything. They have deli meats, cold salads, and desserts to take for home which I thought was pretty neat. Lastly, they have a drive-thru which I found to be really cool for an all vegan place as that is not too common.

The dining area is small but they have good seating for a table and by the wall. It's a casual atmosphere with good music playing. Menu offers a nice selection of sandwich that can be ordered as a combo or a la carte. I opted for a meal ($15.90) which include a choice of any sandwich, one deli side, a house drink, and sweet treat. I chose NoTuna salad, so good and delicious! It has tasty garbanzo beans, tomato, lettuce, cucumber, red onion, vegenaise and green spring mix served on a toasted ciabatta roll. The sandwich roll is slightly crunchy. I also got a potato salad ($9) as an a la carte, it's yummy! They have a NoTurkey Pasta salad as well and it's good! It has bowtie pasta, green peas, and crumbles of NoTurkey in a creamy sauce. Their housemade Rosemary Lemonade is refreshing! It pairs wonderfully with a delightful chocolate chip cookie, and the cookies are housemade and amazing! Service from Alecia is welcoming and friendly. The owner checked in to see how everything was and it's great! They have a loyalty card where you get a free sandwich after 10 stamps.
