Absolutely the worse food my husband & I have had at an Okc restaurant ever! We literally eat out 7 days a week and never complain nor send food back. Ever. We had 2 ice teas, a small guacamole & a small white cheese queso, a 3 enchilada platter & a 2 soft taco plate. The taste of the queso was just off. Guac was fine. Dinner plates were not even warm. My husbands enchiladas had zero enchilada sauce on them & WAY too much cheese on top, I am not exaggerating it was ridiculous. They weren't warm so the huge pile of cheese had long melted & cooled Into a big glob & he couldn't even eat them. My steak fajita meat (one was chicken) was bad & on the chicken one, there was way too much chicken & both had once again, WAY too much cheese. I had to literally scoop the piles of grated cheese onto a side plate. We paid $72.34 for a meal we didn't eat. The server was a nice young kid, so we just paid knowing we will never step in here again. This meal at Casa Perico or Abuleos would have been about $40 & much much better! I notice other reviews for this Okc Uncle Julios at 3/5 stars. Thats generous! read more

Food is mediocre but overpriced. Service, however, is the worst I've ever seen. I've been there 3 times, each time for a different celebration with family/friends. Each time the service was awful. The worst part to me is that the staff act like their "service" is the norm and never apologize for the countless mistakes, charging for items they forgot to bring, or the slowest service ever. I will say this - the patio is beautiful and Chisholm Creek area is very nice. Bottom line is if you like paying a lot for just OK food and have 3 hours to spend on mediocre dinner while trying to flag down a waiter to bring your credit card back after 20 minutes, go for it. read more

Food not great - nothing stands out. Chips and salsa are good. Fajita quesadilla was dry like a desert. The beef enchiladas have a heavy cumin flavor and light on sauce/cheese. Chicken enchiladas are very strange. Service was ok - too many tables for each section. Outside patio looked nice - inside was noisy due guests trying to talk over the loud music. Many other options in OKC are better. read more

Horrible experience at this restaurant. Got the steak enchiladas and when I first got my plate the tortillas were not heated & tasted like they were just taken out of the packet. Told them to switch the tortillas and got tired of waiting for my plate. Server did not even check up on us until we got up and started walking to leave. He approached us and said he would bring my food right out and told him to put it in a to-go container. Got to my house and opened it to eat it and they did not even switch out my tortillas. Never going back again. read more

Food was fair. Service was a little slow on a week night. Food portions are mid size. Good homemade tortillas.

Poor service, below average food, high prices. back to Ted's

Service is less than stellar and leaves much to be desired. Food: Excellent and reminds me of all the times I have frequented the Dallas locations. Waitstaff: Organized chaos. This is a management problem. Management: Unable to respond to critiques and requests. I was told they would take care of the issue, but after return to the table, the manager walked by my table which included my kids and said "You can just get out" while doing the ever classic thumb action. I paid my tab and tipped the waitress 20%. It wasn't her fault she has inadequate leadership. I will not be returning. read more

I really liked the food and our service was great. However it's way too expensive for just Tex-Mex. Our lunch tab was $57 for 2 adults and a child (my son only had rice and beans). I am big on atmosphere when it comes to restaurants and I detested the atmosphere inside Uncle Julio's. The inside is very very crowded (they have crammed too many tables in the open areas). It was like a maze weaving in and out of tables and waiters to get to the bathrooms (which they should have put in front of restaurant). They also play the overhead music too loud and so people have to talk over it which then makes it even louder. The outdoor patios are better but music was still too loud. I would go there again, but it won't be our go to Tex-Mex place. Mama Veccas is smaller and food is pretty much just as good. read more

Wonderful food, wonderful service (thank you Gabriel and friendly management). Table side guacamole was the highlight of our evening. Please don't leave without trying the "El Jefe" margarita! We can't wait to come back! read more

This place was pretty good. The drinks were poured right for me and roasted salsa was good. The service was really good with and almost at table capacity on the patio, our table's chip bowls never went empty and we were a party of 12. Nobody in my party had anything negative to say about their meal. I had the seared tuna tacos and it was pretty good. I'd recommend this place for a business or lunch read more

We were a party of 7 adults and 3 kids, we had a reservation and waited about 15 minutes to be seated. While the food was good, the service was just awful. When we were seated at our table, we had to ask for them to sweep under our table due to all the food on the floor. We were never all brought silverware and napkins, even tho we asked. The food arrived but we had to wait for them to bring tortillas for our fajitas. The manager did come over and apologize and gave a free dessert. Great setting, good margaritas- just not sure I would return! read more

Uncle Julio's had excellent service. We got sat almost immediately and our waiter was awesome! It was a great atmosphere. You could sit outside or inside. The food wasn't my absolute favorite, but I would go back because the margaritas were good, and again the service was amazing. They also had some really different dessert options that is fun to go get with friends. read more

Went out for date night and was greatly impressed! We got lucky and grabbed a table in cocktail, so the wait was not to long. The food was absolutely incredible! Great service and fantastic drinks! read more

Terrible service. Went there for dinner on a Saturday evening for my friend's Bachelorette party and they refused to seat us due to us being a "large party."... There were only five of us! Saw several other larger parties seated already and plenty of other seating in the back. They told us we could sit in the bar area and basically scavenge for five seats together along with a few other groups who had been told the same thing. Took us 45 minutes to get something. The hostesses were extremely rude about it too. Not going back. read more

Our family had a wonderful meal. The service was outstanding. Highly recommend this restaurant. We'll be back.

We love Uncle Julios food and have never been disappointed. However, this evening after a wonderful dinner I left my sunglasses sitting on top of our to-go box. When I realized I had left them 5-10 minutes later no one had seen them and the only comment from the manager was call back tomorrow morning and see if they come up. This is very disappointing considering it had to be an employee and I returned so quickly to find no one had seen them. read more

First off, if you have a table set outside the restaurant to check-in you should probably have someone standing outside to check people in. My boyfriend and I go inside and instead of being greeted a man comes up to us and says "what the f*** are these people doing in here" to another server. The woman replies and says " i don't f****** know, they're supposed to check in outside." We tried to, but no one was there. We didn't even get seated or get to try the food. 0/10 service. read more

First time here. Beautiful inside. Food was good and fresh. The swirl was no different than any other restaurant that serves frozen sangria. Higher priced than typical mexican food. Salsa, thin chips, corn/flour tortillas, queso blanco were delicious. All ingredients looked and tasted fresh! Chocolate lovers pinata is a must try. $30 but must try once! read more

The fajita were given to me raw with only the outside layer it was like they only sat in on the stove for 2 minutes. The waiters were extremely rude and were talk bad about other customers right next to us. 0/10 do not recommend and will not be returning. :( read more

We have been to Uncle Julio's a few times and have sat out on the patio each time. The view is great and the food and service is just as good. The portions are big and everything tastes fresh. read more

The food was forgettable, which is unfortunate because someone put a lot of money into the business and staff development. Our waiter was very nice and did what he was supposed to do. The food was mediocre for a "farm to table" concept. read more

Would be nice to know how the food actually tastes at this location. Waited over an hour for our food to arrive at an off peak time. Gave up and went elsewhere. The manager on duty, Carlos, didn't seem to care or see a concern in our frustrations. Uncle Julio's usually has good fajitas, verdict still out for this location. read more

i ordered through uber eats and AGAIN was missing half of the toppings off of my "build your own bowl". i called to complain and see if they could do anything about it because Uber Eats no longer could since i had reported the exact same issue so many times. the manager David literally sounded like he could give 2 shits less about it & was annoyed that i even inquired. i asked if it could at least be remade. it was 25 mins before closing and he said i'd have to pick it up same night but i ordered delivery for a reason... i can't pick up. my daughter was hooked up to her IV!!!! then he told me the missing toppings were uber eats fault as if uber was the ones that made the food in THEIR kitchen. i told him i could come the next day and he annoyedly told me that would work. told me i didn't need to bring a receipt or anything. i don't know if i even want to come back to get it remade. it'll just be screwed up again because you all can't get it together. i wasn't asking for my money back all i asked is "what CAN you all do about it?" and i was greeted with a list of everything they CANT do and an inability to take any responsibility for the mistakes made in their own kitchen. i know it's the weekend, y'all are busy, etc. but i am missing toppings EVERY TIME. i have y'all the benefit of the doubt and several chances but it's shame on me for giving my money to a company that clearly doesn't value it's customers, food accuracy, food quality & building a connection with people to ensure they return. i didn't even get a "i'm sorry that you were missing toppings off your bowl" i was missing 6 toppings out of 11!! and i can't even get an apology? no thanks i guess "fine dining" holds no value lol. i'd be better off at Taco Bell and "build your own bowl" mean "we will actually pick what you get but charge extra for what you choose anyways" read more

We have been at the OKC restaurant numerous times. It is always fantastic and the service is as well. Our favorite is the lobster fajitas. The table side guacamole is always perfect. I believe it is better than the Dallas sites... read more

Great table side Guacamole, Margarita's and the Bacon wrapped shrimp and Steak Fajitas are incredible. Love It.

Authentic Mexican at it's best. From Georgia to Oklahoma, quality, quantity, and price.

We went on a week day for lunch and the place was filling up fast. So we opted to sit in the bar and eat. The bartender/waitress was not attentive at all. She was more worried about mixing and serving drinks. We had to ask 3 time with 3 different people to finally get corn tortillas for my husband which has to eat gluten free. The first 2 times they brought flour and told us it was corn. I could taste it and knew it wasn't corn so we tried a 3rd time and finally someone listened to us and brought corn for him. We had the lunch fajitas which were bland in taste and 2 ice tea ( I did order queso cuz that is not part of the set up) and our cost for lunch on a week day was 50.00!! We have had several friends that have gone after us and they were very disappointed in quality of food and prices too high! We won't be back! read more

I have been to Uncle Julio's twice for lunch and both times enjoyed excellent food and excellent service. I love the white cheese dip and their fajita's are awesome. The atmosphere is great and everyone is very friendly. They have very light chips and their salsa is very tasty. I will definitely be back and am looking forward to trying a desert next time. read more

The customer service here keeps getting worse. The first time we came here shortly after they opened the food and customer service were great. We returned 4 other times after that and the customer service has gotten worse each time. Last time there was a group of 7 of us, we waited over an hour for a table even though there were tons of open tables but that had not been cleared off it appeared they didn't have enough staff. We see a large table on the patio had been open for a while and ask if we can sit there they say sure, the table had not been cleared off and instead of the hostess helping out and clearing it she hands us the menus and walks away to only go inside and stand there and talk to her friend. After standing there for 10 min with no one coming we clear off the table ourselves and put everything piled up on another table that hasn't been cleared. The waiter comes out and apologizes. It wasn't his fault he had 5-6 tables himself and was running around. He was quick to get someone to wipe it off and take out orders. The manager walks by and I told him about how this poor waiter has all these large tables himself and we the customers had to clean off the table ourselves. He literally could care less. The last time we went yesterday the service has gotten worse. We wait 20 minutes for 4 margaritas, waiter takes our order and never asks how we want our steak cooked for our fajitas by the time we realize this the food is coming out, both my husbands and I half the steak is very rare and half overly well done. None of us got knives I tell the waiter he said their all out of knives, are you kidding me? It wasn't even that busy and how are you out of knives? 10 min later we get knives. The manager comes over asks if everything is okay I tell him about how the steak is cooked he brings me new steak 15 min later. Also asked for another margarita in this time since I couldn't eat my food yet and never got it. By that time 2 others wanted margaritas and we get all 3 10 min later. You would think with all the trouble they could have at least taken off a cheese dip but guess not. We will not be returning. read more

Beautiful restaurant. Very busy with slow service. Food very disappointing. Fish not fresh in fish tacos. Wanted to like it but didn't.

We have been to other uncle Julio locations but this by far was the best. Our waiter Ethan went above and beyond to make sure our lunch was amazing. He was very attentive and entertaining. It's nice nowadays to get great service! We will definitely go back because of him! read more

My first time there with a group of 5. Our server, Mattea, was very friendly and helpful explaining some of their specials. Amazing! The service was excellent and so was the food. I ordered the Cozumel shrimp tacos and they were delicious! The guacamole is made at your table and it was so good! Save room for dessert and get the Chocolate Piñata, it's so worth it! read more

OOOOOOOOH BOY! Not worth a second chance to me. I'm gonna do a quick run down and not mince words. Salsa - great. Chips - good. 2 bowls of chips and 2 ramekins of salsa for 10 people? Ridiculous. No drink refills without multiple reminders. 3/10 orders were wrong. The waitress (who smelled of...ahem...urine) asked "is that ok?" instead of fixing it. Fish tacos tasted like soap. Never got the alcoholic beverage we ordered. They are getting 2 stars instead of one because they are relatively new and the salsa was yummy. If they didn't have the amazing location and corporate backing they would be dead in 6 months. Food just wasn't good and service (as described) was terrible! read more

This was the second time coming to the restaurant because normally their wait time is astronomical. We used the reservation tab on the website for Resy to reserve a table for 3 at 8:15. We arrive at the restaurant, let the host know we were here, and she said that was cancelled. Sorry. I showed her the text I got saying we needed to by at the restaurant in 30 min. Never didn't I get a cancellation email/text. I checked my profile on Resy. Still has the reservation. Host then says she will try to accommodate us. Two other parties arrived after us stating they were there for their reservation with the same amount or more people involved using the same app, Resy. I'm confused why mine was "cancelled" and was given no explanation. We waiting patiently for a table to become available. The only savior of the experience was our waitress, Brylee. She was very attentive and was super sweet. The food is nothing to write home about. Chile con Queso tasted like velveeta in your crock pot at home. Fajitas didn't have much flavor. We did enjoy the chocolate piñata. My two Julio Gold drinks were not bad either. Will possibly only come for dessert and our sweet waitress but that's if we can even get seated accordingly. read more

I have to give props when props is due! The service was amazing! Nice and friendly waiter! The sangria was super good! The cowboy caseo was off the chain! To make a long story short we was a party of 4 ! I had a little off everyone's plate it was so good! I will be returning soon read more

Very good, a little pricey for what they offer. If you haven't tried it, you need to at least once!

The food was good. We went for the dessert. The chocolate piñata was great and a big HIT with the kids and adults.
