Now here's the kicker, I literally told them make sure my crab were Jimmy in size since I paid for JIMMY crabs. I checked my order and saw nothing but super slender/skinny crab claws and small half crabs. I IMMEDIATELY stated that those crabs were not Jimmy crabs! I know crabs since I've grown up around crabbers and used to have to sort them myself during the Summers as chores for punishment. So I FULLY know the difference! The owner proceeded to get pissed and tell me I'm a BULLShhh lie... that's when I called him on his BS. He knew damn well I was telling him the truth, he and his wife TRIED TO GET OVER. Even the 2 black guys that were working in there that day knew those weren't JIMMY sized crabs. Coming from Europe, I've been shopping at Aldi for years and am pleased to see the prices are still just as low and that the produce still remains of great quality on this side of the water. Both frozen and fresh, you'll find some prices which cannot be beaten. Stock rotates often, so don't expect to find the same produce every week. Whilst they don't bag up your items (they put them in a shopping trolley for you to bag yourself,) or give free bags (you can bring your own or buy them for a few cents,) or provide free trolleys (you get your quarter back once you return the cart, they're not monsters,) - this is all part of a grand ploy to save manpower and time to ensure stock is out on the shelves constantly and to serve you better. It's forward thinking. Once you get used to shopping in here, I promise you'll never look back!

Mine did not arrive in a "fun box filled with orange strands of ribbon." Mine arrived well packed in a box of foam peanuts. However, that was not a problem. The preserves are a problem. The taste is another matter. There is no way I can even begin to describe it as wonderful, amazing, or even impressive. My pepper jelly tastes far better, and it costs me about $8.50 to make the same amount of jelly as Simply Panache charges $79 for. Lesson learned.
