It's like walking back in time! They sell old-fashioned sodas to fudge, lollipops, licorice, chocolates, taffy, and candy mints in Nintendo game boy tins!! So this place has something for everyone!! The more time I spent in here, the money I spent, so beware!!! It's addicting!!!

The store is exactly what I would expect in a candy store in a beach town. You'll comfortably find any name-brand category of chain candies, novelty sodas and novelty candy. Any kid that walks in here will be super happy! It looked like they made their own fudge, but due to the pandemic, they may not have been selling it. They also have a large wall of taffy where you can build a standard bag of various flavors. The inside can be a little cramped if a lot of people are inside, so we waited outside until some people left before we went it. We purchased some taffy to-go. I enjoyed their peppermint taffy! The prices are fair and it's a cute stop if you are strolling the street. If you're in-town with a family, I think it's worth stopping inside to get your kids a treat.

So this location is on the end of the corner on Atlantic Avenue. It's a cute candy shop on a corner. Beware it hard to find parking. Do not park in diary Queen parking lot. They even offer fudge here. It is a bit pricey it's 3.49 for a 1/4 pound of candy. They offer military discount as well.

Probably need to walk through once and look before you start choosing or you will go overboard. Most of what is in the store is sold by a bulk price. All of the signs say $3.49 per 1/4 pound. That looks great. But that is $13.96 a pound. That probably wouldn't look great on a sign. So if you just start walking around grabbing a little if this and a little of that then your bag will get heavy real fast. Just be cautious. They also have all this old candy from when I was young. There are big candies. A lot of stuffed animals. There is a counter with fudge. All different kinds of salt water taffy. It is awesome.

Whenever we're in the area, we can't help but to visit. I don't know if it's the looming scent when you walk by or just the draw to chocolate, we ALWAYS visit. Not a bad thing but just gotta watch them calories! =) If you love all things chocolate (and some various desserts), this place is a must visit. While it was a cold and windy Saturday in February, it was warm and welcoming inside. I walked around, taking in all the wonderful chocolate confections, and considered what a wonderful valentine I could put together. I was in no hurry, and with the help of Emani, my server, I was able to create a custom box of wonderful chocolate Valentine treats for my lovely wife. So happy shopping here!! Highly recommend. Not so happy: "Virginia Beach Curb Parking Enforcement" dampened my happy satisfaction with a parking ticket. Be aware that in Town Center, curb parking is STRICTLY enforced using a roving car with roof mounted cameras computerized to photograph your car and issue parking tickets. Those tickets are $40 each. I highly recommend that Shop Owners on Central Park Ave, post a sign by the cash register, alerting shoppers to the risks of curb street parking as a courtesy to their customers. What store owner wants a customer to return to their car to find a parking ticket after a wonderful purchase experience ???
