Stopped by on a weekend afternoon and was warmly welcomed by the staff. After looking at the menu,…read moreI decided on a mocha. I ordered and walked back into their space, which is huge! The front area is deceiving as there are tons of tables in the back. They also had a long list of upcoming events, which sounded really fun and often involve live music. The mocha was absolutely delicious! It's a great spot to work, meet friends or catch some music. Definitely glad I finally stopped in!

Alias Coffee partnered with 518 Craft and Primobotanica to open up in a shared space in downtown Troy, NY initially during covid. With good coffee and service, I'm sure they will have a successful future. I'm not a coffee drinker, but I do taste it so as part of the yelp experience, community CO was thoughtful enough to partner with a small and upcoming local coffee shop on National coffee day and get us in for a cup of coffee. I asked the Barsita to make me the best drink from the available choices and was given a Cappuccino, which I took a sip and handed it to my dad. My dad did say the coffee was good and from my tasting experience, the coffee was smooth and had a bitter after taste (like a few people I know like it that way) and the taske kept lingering fir an hour. Go get your coffee, this is in a neighborhood that requires revitalization, there have been some good initiatives and us as a community can help support them.

This local bakery and coffeehouse opened this week in Wynantskill. The space was formerly occupied…read moreby several other uses including a diner, restaurant, and Roxy Cleaners. The place offers plenty of seating including booths, sofas, lounge chairs, coffee tables, and plenty of classic artsy decor and china on the walls. The bakery has been very popular with the parking lot very full. They offer fresh baked scones, cookies, muffins, cupcakes, biscotti with gluten free options too. They also have a coffee and espresso bar too! I stopped in here recently for some fresh bakery goods. I picked up a Ham & Cheddar Scone ($3.50), Cinnamon Bun ($4), Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcake ($2.50) and a Chocolate Chip Cookie ($3). The scone, cinnamon bun, and cookie were still warm out of the oven. The scone was sooo good, firm outside and very moist inside which had both sweet and savory flavors. The sweet Cinnamon Bun had ample sweet icing, very soft inside. The chocolate chip cookie was sweet and buttery. The cupcake had a moist cake texture and the peanut butter buttercream frosting was sweet, just right. I definitely need to come back here for the scones again!

Unfortunately, our most recent trip for brunch was disappointing, our quiches were cold in the center, the GF Chocolate Cookie, which I'd had before and enjoyed, tasted like cardboard, and the ginger cookie had a awful aftertaste. Their baked goods had been great and the quiches were always served hot. Gentleman server was more pleasant than the lady, ambiance is eclectic and appealing. On a separate note, it would be nice to see the addition of an American Flag in the window
