We've been coming to this restaurant since it was Asian City back in 2008, and it has truly remained one of our favorite places throughout the years. The consistency in food quality and service is something that really stands out. Every dish is full of flavor, always fresh, beautifully presented, and made with care. You can tell the chefs take real pride in their work. The service is always exceptional , the staff is friendly, professional, and very attentive without ever being overbearing. They make sure every guest feels welcomed and taken care of, which is something you don't find everywhere these days. The ambience is elegant and comfortable, giving off the feel of a high-end restaurant while still being warm and inviting. It's a perfect spot for any occasion, but especially birthdays it's been our go-to celebration place for many years! If there's one small area for improvement, I'd kindly mention the fountain drinks. On a few occasions, the drinks have tasted a bit off. However, the staff has always handled it graciously and immediately offered to replace them, which I truly appreciate it shows how much they value their customers' experience. Overall, this place continues to deliver excellent food, atmosphere, and service year after year. A true gem and a must-visit restaurant! read more

The seared tuna, salmon, and Kobe beef were deliciously tender and enhanced by the perfect touch of sauces. For rolls, we tried the spicy crunch, Umiya super roll, spider roll, dynamite roll, and Texas roll. Each one was exceptional, with a great balance of flavors and just the right amount of rice. The service was friendly, and the place is kept clean, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. Overall, Umiya Sushi offers top-notch quality and an impressive variety of sushi and sashimi. Umiya for lunch is the ultimate score for any hustling boss babe! Their AYCE spread is a goldmine, sans the booze, but who's missing it when you've got an endless parade of sushi? Talk about a steal on the north side. Service? Lightning-fast. Freshness? Made-to-order magic. It's like Asian City decor got a glow-up, and the OG crew is still rocking it. The only thing on my wish list? A dinner surf 'n' turf that goes beyond the classic steak and shrimp. Hook us up with lamb or salmon add-ons and it's game over--Umiya would be the undefeated champ of dining deals! Now that's a place I'd power lunch at any day! read more

Came here on a whim with my girlfriend, and we're so glad we did! Josh took great care of us and made sure our plates were never empty for the all you can eat options. Even though we were on a low-carb diet and couldn't eat rice, all the other options were delicious! Our favorites were the spicy garlic edamame, salmon tataki, cucumber salad, and the shaggy dog roll. Once we're done with this diet and can eat rice again, we will definitely be back to try their other options read more
