We went for the lunch all you can eat - $22.95. Definitely got our money worth and it was delicious. Or waiter was friendly, informative, and attentive. Return was cute, clean, and perfect for casual or cute! 0-3 eat free. 4-7 year olds $8.95. 8-12 year olds $12.95.

I was exciting to find out they open AYCE sushi in kingwood. But it turned out not what I expected. I don't usually give out bad reviews but this time I have to. We have a birthday party of 12 of us and we were there early at 11:30am for lunch while the place was empty. The kitchen was super slow that by the time we paid the bills (2hours later) bcoz we have to go . My food was partially served. And the worse part , mine was mainly sashimi choices. Really ??? All they do is to slice out the fish, no cooking or rolling involved. It's literally should take no more than 15 minutes to be served. I actually left the restaurant hungry and that should never be the case of an AYCE restaurant. We paid $32.95 per person and I'm still hungry . Honestly I ate maybe 10 pieces of sashimi for my orders and I had to cancel the rest of my orders bcoz I can't wait anymore. No more appetite During the services we constantly remind the server about our missing orders but the server couldn't do anything about it. I did talk to the manager about how bad her service was but she's literally ignore me. Someone needs to review their services procedures and if they can't take orders and give the food accordingly then they shouldn't take more customers than they can handle.

For still being VERY new and recently just open this is great! I would definitely have some patience while they are still working out the little tweaks. I am very big on trying everything so we did the all you can eat which I would recommend Anything we ordered...great, from apps to raw sushi and ending with dessert this was all very tasty and flavorful. The ambiance was amazing we loved the layout and the decor here. I would recommend coming to give it a try, great date night place or just looking to grab a bite

Been here twice. First time my husband and I tried the menu ala cart and the second time we did AYCE. We love sushi and always had a problem with sushi on this side of Houston. Our biggest complaint was the lack of quality sushi here, we'd have to drive downtown to get something good. Well we have been more than pleased with the sushi at Sake Bon, its quality, the nigiri is at the perfect temp and never ever fishy. We stick to the nigiri and the Thai chili hamachi and we do a couple of the rolls which are all fabulous.

Sake Bon Kingwood is a great addition to Kingwood. Opening day 10/27 was a positive success. But... please be patient they have a few kinks to work through. I received phenomenal service from Tim, managers & all the staff. All the food was good, hot fresh & made to order.

Oh man I'm so full!!!! Just got home from sake bon. I'm not a sushi fan and don't like fish but there was soooo much other stuff to eat. Everything I had tasted amazing. The meat is great quality. My mum who loves sushi said everything she tried was amazing. $5 large hot sake is crazy cheap. The service was great they were constantly asking if we wanted more and refilling drinks. Huge place inside plenty of seating. It was $35 for the AYCE option. They have à la carte pricing if you don't want AYCE. I would for sure go back again. Go give them a try. I promise you won't leave hungry.

ambiance is very nice. the service can be a bit slow at times because it's so busy. but they are friendly and makeup for it. the food is great for the price they have. it is now a favorite of mine to go to for all you can eat.

The courses where small with the all you can eat but the sushi was normal portions , the food was really good and the taste was authentic, the service was amazing we had somone tell us their opinion on everthing and showed us what we should order based on our preferences. Highly recommend for a dinner spot or sit down lunch .

Honestly, I'm very skeptical about buffets and the quality of food, but this is the first buffet I…read morethoroughly enjoy and all the variety of foods they have to offer. This place is a bit far from central Houston and central north Houston, but it's such a great gem! It gets quite busy but they have a number system where you walk in, check in and get a number, and then you get called. It gets pretty busy but the line goes by fast. Parking is also a bit of a hassle as the lot is very small for the amount of people which is a downside. The Chinese food they have is so so, but the seafood is where it's at. Their crab legs are always so fresh and sweet, and rarely salty. We also love their crawfish as it's full of flavor, fresh, and always piping hot. Their sushi selection is decent and also pretty good quality for buffet sushi. The seafood reminds me of Las Vegas buffet quality. Dessert selection is ok. I just go for the ice cream and some fruit and that's pretty much it. Inside it does get pretty hectic and everything is fast paced, but that's good if you want to eat the most you can in such little time! The servers are always attentive and take away empty plates, refill drinks, and are happy to assist with anything you need. All in all, this is a great bang for your buck if you want a good variety of food with amazingly fresh seafood.

My oh my, I think I have found my favorite Chinese buffet in the Houston area! My expectations are…read moreusually low when it comes to Chinese buffets, but I had heard good things about this place, and after learning that they have snow crab legs, I knew I had to visit! We arrived for dinner on a Sunday evening and were lucky enough to get a spot in the small parking lot. I found it interesting that they offer valet, but I guess due to the size of the small shopping complex, it makes sense that vehicle were being parked in the grass. My primary target of the visit was the seafood! On the top of that list was the snow crabs, crawfish, and sashimi! They also carry fresh raw oysters and boiled shrimp, but I did not try those items. The snow crab legs were ransacked frequently but also refilled frequently, which was nice. The legs weren't dry or overly salted, and a liquid butter dispenser was nearby! It was the same with the crawfish... which tasted very fresh and not frozen. They were also seasoned very well and succulent, not the grey overcooked dried out crawfish you usually find at buffets. The fried whole shrimp was cooked perfectly and tasted fresh. The mixed sashimi was kinda crammed into one small bowl, but the pieces displayed are nice and fresh. I saw that they offered salmon belly nigiri! As for the cooked prepared American Chinese meats, they were actually good! At most Chinese buffets, these dishes are very one note and bland, but here they had a lot of flavor and were cooked well! The most surpassing was the hibachi grill which usually is tasteless and meh at most places. Here it was shockingly delicious! The only real let down was the dessert, which is the standard at a Chinese buffet. The prepackaged mousse cups were not good. The mediocre cheesecake was still frozen in the middle, and the fruit was less than ideal. I didn't even bother trying the ice cream, as it's the cheap kind in the plastic cups. No thank you! The jello wasn't that bad and came in unique flavors. The slushies were actually kinda tasty! So go ahead and visit you're in the area and want to be a total glutton.

I kid you not I was in and out the restaurant in less than 30 minutes. Among entering the lighting was low and it seemed as if there wasn't any AC blowing which sucked. As I got seated and browsed the menu, they have very affordable prices and a great all you can eat lunch special. I decided to order an appetizer steamed pork gyoza ($8.xx) and a lunch 2 sushi rolls ($12.xx). All of my food came out 5 minutes after ordering. To start off with the gyoza, they taste like the ones you'd get at the sushi section of a kroger/heb. I wasn't a fan and they were warm at best. As for the sushi, I got a plain shrimp tempura and a plain snow crab roll. Everything just tasted poor quality. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't distasteful, it just wasn't super fresh. It tasted like low grade products were used and just something quick to serve. I can say they had a very spicy and tasty spicy mayo. Overall, I wouldn't recommend and am still on the hunt to find a good Sushi/Japanese restaurant in the area.

One of my favorite local sushi spots that's consistently fresh and reasonably priced. I ordered about $55 worth of sushi and it was so good! I like their spicy salmon hand rolls because they're one of the few places that don't cheat you out of the salmon by mixing crunch toppings in it. If you go to a place and they do that it's not a real sushi restaurant. Also, always a beautiful presentation whether you're dining in or take out. I'll be back soon for the AYCE and Happy Hour.
