When I called for the rest of my order DoorDash closed out the order and told me "after review it was resolved and no refund". WHAT?! I spent $119 and didn't get the main dish! I called Kabuki and they totally jumped on it. Within an hr I got a call from DoorDash telling me I would get a refund. Kabuki called me back and told me if it didn't happen I should call them back. Kabuki has definitely earned my loyalty. The food is always good and now I know they care about their customers.

At our table there were another group of people who received way better customer service than us. To start it took forever for him to bring drinks, soup, and salad out meanwhile we were seated less than 5 minutes after the other group. By the time we received our drink, soup, and salad the other group at our table were well finished and received a round refills on their drinks. Throughout our whole dinner we did not receive a refill on drinks nor were we asked. Upon asking for a to go box along with sauce we received an attitude. Every little thing we asked for we received an attitude. Overall this experience was terrible and it will be a while before I return to this location. It is sad to say we received exceptional customer service from our cook rather than our server Steven.

I arrived to pick up a DoorDash order and entered the restaurant without being greeted by any employee. I sat down, assuming that someone would eventually ask if I needed assistance. During that time, two separate groups entered the restaurant and were immediately greeted and acknowledged. Meanwhile, multiple employees looked directly at me and continued to ignore me. After waiting approximately 15 minutes, I finally received the order, but only after the customer I was delivering for called the restaurant. When the food was handed to me, I politely mentioned to the employee that I had not been greeted when I arrived, despite other customers being acknowledged right away. Rather than addressing my concern, the employee refused to give me the order and called over the owner or manager. When he asked what the issue was, I explained that I simply wanted to bring attention to the fact that I had not been acknowledged when I entered the restaurant. He responded by saying that he knew I was a DoorDash driver and that the food was not ready. I asked how he could have known I was a DoorDash driver if no one had ever greeted or spoken to me. Instead of answering the question, he asked if I was going to take the food or not and told me I needed to leave because he was tired of dealing with me. He then began raising his voice, insisting that my wait was due to the food not being ready. I repeatedly explained that my concern was never the wait time. I understand that food preparation takes time. My issue was that no one acknowledged me when I arrived. Without speaking to me, the staff had no way of knowing whether I was a DoorDash driver, a customer dining in, or someone else needing assistance. Despite my attempts to clarify my concern, I was again told to leave because he did not want to deal with me. What should have been a simple conversation about customer service and acknowledgment became an unnecessarily hostile interaction. As a result, I will not be returning to this establishment and wanted to share my experience.

Tonkotsu ramen's basic flavor profile is fat, salt, and (in the case of black tonkotsu) garlic. It is an incredibly rich, salty, and filling dish. The broth should be creamy as a result of all the fat, collagen, and gelatin extracted by cooking pork bones for over a long period. Mizu Ramen is none of these things. It is a thin, watery dish devoid of flavor. Either the base of the soup was not cooked long enough, or they're cheaped out on the amount of bones used. I found myself pouring soy sauce into it just to make it somewhat salty. You don't even get a shaker of furikake or some vinegar for the table! While Mizu avoids a 1 star rating on account of the fact that it's not disgusting and the service isn't bad per se, I cannot recommend it as a much better ramen chain, UMAMI, is only 7 minutes away.
