    BANG BANG SHRIMP
    Donna B.

I enjoyed my experience at Umami. The waitress was very attentive and prompt. The food was good. I really enjoyed the bang bang shrimp and the salad with the ginger dressing. The restaurant was clean. I enjoyed sitting with others. I always enjoy meeting new people. The hibachi chicken was great and I always enjoy the cooking show at the hibachi grill. Great spot for good food, nice ambiance, and nice people. There is plenty of parking as well.

Wow. If you're coming for sushi, you will NOT be disappointed. We have found 1 other sushi place we love out here, but their prices are more on the fine dining side. We needed to come to the area for a Yelp Elitw event and decided to grab lunch as well. The reviews for the sushi looked GREAT, so we gave it a try. YALL. We ordered 4 different rolls: Screaming O JP Salmon Orange Dragon Godzilla AND ALL OF THEM WERE FIRE. It was a flawless sushi rotation and I can't wait to go back and try more. We also started the lunch with fried gyoza and chilled apple sake. We walked right in around lunch time on a Thursday. Besides a bit of confusion at the counter about us wanting to sit down to eat, but not hibachi,, everything was great from there on. You will not regret coming here for sushi. TRUST ME.

I got a to go order so I can't rate the restaurant. But walking in service was really fast and friendly and gave me my order very quickly. The restaurant seemed quite spacious and family friendly. I really enjoyed my meal however I paid for lobster tails, which was an up charge and there was some shrimp in there as well. I was a little surprised to see that. It is a large portion of food, so I really did enjoy the rest of the meal and the soul and rice was delicious!

Always amazing service, food and the glazed carrots are incredible! Servings are huge with enough to eat off of for 2 days. I always sit in the bar area for a solo dinner and the service is quick with friendly staff.

Our second trip to celebrate my sons birthday and we took my daughter with autism along. They were so amazing and inclusive. While the food is amazing and chefs talented, their kindness towards my child set them a step above. Thank you for making my son's birthday great and including my child.

    Miso soup and salad

We were very disappointed, to say the least. The salad dressing was watery--almost as if they didn't strain the greens properly. The miso soup was watered down and had no flavor. The steak was good, but they cooked a large portion of rice with only two eggs. Overall, it seems like they're trying to cut down on costs.

Last night my family and I decided to finish celebrating my sisters birthday and decided to have dinner here, unfortunately half of the party had a horrible experience. Our cook came out drunk, he was very disrespectful and aggressive. For the start of the conversation he told me "Fu*K you" in front of children at the table only because he got my order wrong and asked could be repeat it. Throughout the service he continued to taunt me and say very rude things as well as playing with my food. The food was burnt and no season. The final straw for me after several disrespectful comments towards me but when he told my 10 yr old niece speak the f*K up do you speak English I can't hear you is when I finally had enough. I immediately got up and found a manager, a older lady came out and I expressed my concerns with her she stated she would talk to him when he was finish. I told her I'm done and proceeded to leave. She did apologize and offered my meal for free I told her no I didnt even touch it so no I didn't want it. Another manger came out a male he was VERY professional and understanding; he seemed very disappointed in the guy and apologize as well by that time I was over it. The cook kept making comments as I spoke with management. My family also expressed their concerns and what they experience and the older lady didn't want to believe it at first but after 15 people began to express what they saw she came back out with with a free appetizer I declined as I would never be back. Oh yea I stay in Fayetteville and my other family was visiting from Augusta, Ga and if this is how you conduct busines I don't think any of us will be returning

Went here and ate at the sushi bar. Great sushi(godzilla roll)family member got a steak meal I tried some, it was great. Very calm in there and the service was quick and the person there was kind. 5 stars.

Volcano Roll (I had to dig into it a little before remembering to take a picture lol)
    Nakeitha J.

This is me and my daughter's favorite hibachi place and I decided to try some different items than my normal usual. The chicken lettuce wraps were pretty good, a little too salty for my liking but I'm glad that I did at least try it. The Volcano Roll was really good too. The service was nice, only issue was watching my drink sit at the bar a little too long for my liking. But the drink was good and I definitely only needed one lol. All in all love the place! 9/10 definitely recommended.

We loved this place, especially their happy hour. Their cocktails left a lot to be desired. But their sushi was on point.

Was not happy when we approached the hostess, we were placed on a wait list because of kitchen staffing shortage with tons of open tables. When we sat at the bar, we asked if the kitchen was backed up and she said, no. Setting that aside and giving 4 stars for the bar service and quality of food and cocktails.

We wanted to give them the benefit of doubt and saw they had love island watch parties. We came early to secure a spot. Told the host why we came and he sat us right by the TV. We waited for it to begin. We tried to order the theme drinks and were told no because it's only when the show begins. (Mind you this was 10 mins prior to show time) Then the show was supposed to begin and none of the tvs were on the show. We watched them play with remotes for 15 mins. Still they didn't put it on the half of the bar were 4 groups were waiting. 30mins into the show we didn't see our server, no one told us it was only showing in the pool area. Us and another table had to get up to see it was on the other side of the bar. Mind you, there was no sound for a WATCH PARTY! So people were reading subtitles. Finally our server came and apologized about it not being on our side. We asked for the check and she charged us for those drinks WE NEVER GOT! That were sitting at the bar for 30mins. (That if you remember we couldn't order?!?) Then she hands us the drinks when we asked, now melted and still we had to pay for them even though we were literally leaving.

Looking for authentic Irish pub vibes in North Carolina? Trali Irish Pub absolutely delivers!…read more I had to order the Shepherd's Pie, and it did not disappoint. Rich, slow-cooked beef stew topped with a beautifully swirled layer of creamy mashed potatoes--it was the ultimate comfort food. To pair with it, I enjoyed "The First Squeeze," a refreshing wheat beer from a local North Carolina brewery that complemented the meal perfectly. I planned to skip dessert...but then I spotted the Baileys Cheesecake on the menu. Resistance was futile, and I'm so glad I gave in! It was the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal. With its warm, authentic Irish atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious food, Trali Irish Pub is definitely worth a visit. Sláinte!

I needed a nosh before a meeting and who doesn't love an Irish Pub?…read more This was my first time visiting Trali and won't be my last. It was about 6pm and the dining room was about half full, but everyone seemed in good spirits and many were watching the World Cup. The hostess sat me at a table near the entrance and facing the bar, I had a book with me to catch up on and planned to read a bit. Within a few minutes, the server came around, showed me the beer list and asked if I wanted anything else. When she returned, she saw that I had a book and very attentively asked if I would like to be moved to a quieter table... yes please! She mentioned that a 16 top was due any minute and they'd be taking up the large bar top in the center of the room, and it'd probably get pretty loud. She then talked with the hostess, and they moved me into, the library, of all rooms... how apropos... It's literally adjacent to the open bar area, but walled off and with a definite library vibe. I was sat in a corner table and with perfect ambiance. Looking over the menu, I couldn't really decide on a dish, but I wanted something more traditional Irish. I finally chose the Boxty potatoes topped with corned beef and it was a perfect portion. Everything came out to the table quickly, perfectly hot, and portioned well. I loved the mix of flavors and textured from the baked mashed potato to the shredded corned beef, and finished every single bite. I finished two chapters of my book and was pleased to see another patron in that room also reading. All in all, a night well spent and will definitely return when I'm in the area.

Walking in the restaurant feels upscale, casual, sophisticated. To be seated you'll check in with the host and then be shown to your table. Once seated we ordered the Lulu Bang Bang Shrimp (battered and fried, served over crispy noodles with bang bang sauce, scallions) which unfortunately weren't very good. The batter seemed like it wasn't fried enough so the texture was chewy and not crispy. For entrees, I ordered the Mongolian Beef (sliced beef, garlic, onions, mushrooms, sweet savory soy, sesame oil) and my partner ordered the Yellow Curry (Braised chicken, green papaya, yellow onions, scallions, cashew). The Mongolian beef meat was so tender, however that really the only thing I wanted to eat in the bowl as the onions were still pretty raw and mushrooms weren't tender. The Yellow Curry was good but on the sweeter side with the papaya. Each entree was served with a side of rice. For Dessert we ordered the Thai tea crème brûlée (with a small scoop of vanilla gelato) which was very good and may have been my favorite part of the meal. Overall, I'm not sure if I'll be back but I'm glad we tried Lulu Bang Bang. If I return I would maybe try the sushi and some of the other appetizers.
