So, we started with the french fries with prosciutto and egg. Holy amazing! Great portion for two people to share! The french fries were perfectly golden and I loved the oozy of the eggs around the plate. And plenty of prosciutto!! We then got a appetizer sampler plate that was about $10 and totally worth it. I honestly loved everything on the plate! :) It came with sausage, bread with tomato spread, egg and croquettes.Large serving of potatoes and sauce. Saturday's there is a DJ starting at 9. I would love to come back here. I bet the evening atmosphere is amazing. There is a large disco ball in the main room. **The bathrooms have motions lights.. they will turn on! Found this place on a whim while walking down Las Ramblas. They have outdoor seating set up but their restaurant inside is very unique and modern. It was our first meal in Spain and we ordered croquettes, paella, and sangria. This place is where I fell in love with sangria cava. The service was super friendly and their paella was really good. Sangria cava was very refreshing and by far my favorite type of sangria. Their croquettes were warm and the filling was delicious. They have live music on weekends, but we weren't able to check that out. Not much to say about this place, you need to try it yourself! read more

It is very deceiving, looks just a bar and Tapas area when you first walknin, then BAM! There is this amazing dinner/ dance area in the back. They had a real good food menu, that is decently priced for being right smack in the middle of La Rambla, and a great bar selection. The space itself is quite large and well decorated in a non-stuffy or cheesy way, with everyone writing their names on the walls so we left an evidence of us being there as well! Thought that was fun. They had 6 tapas for 7 euros deal on a sign outside the restaurant, which made us walk in and see whats up. Got seated right away, but there was only one server managing 8 tables on her own and she wasn't very strong at communicating which was a bit hard for us while ordering. Seemed a bit different from the typical toppings I see in the US, so I went for it and truly enjoyed it. The pizza was a great size too! This is in a super touristy area, but you can sit outside and enjoy the chaos as it passes by. The red sangria was great. My mother-in-law, who never drinks, enjoyed it so much and said it reminded her of raspberry juice. The tapas were okay, I wouldn't feel compelled to come back for them. I had vegetarian paella, and the waiter confirmed that it was made with vegetable stock, which was very nice of him. It wasn't the greatest paella I've had, but it fit the bill and I was satisfied knowing it was vegan. Any time a member of my family would leave their phone out on the table, a waiter would swing by and suggest we put it away. Normally I avoid eating at las ramblas like the plague - but the reviews here were decent. I assumed it was a seafood restaurant, but really not so much. Service was good by American standards, which is to say great by European standards. I got the lamb, it came with carrots and potatoes. It was ok, unseasoned, bland, but ok. At first, our server was attentive but as soon as other customers started arriving to the restaurant we were quickly forgotten. It took an hour to get chips and guacamole. (It only came with only 8 chips.) The Sangria was like sucking on a sugar cane stick. Our other appetizers never arrived. After 75 minutes, our Paella came. This place gets 3 stars because the food is terrible but the sangria is delicious. Come here for a pitcher of sangria (about 6 glasses) for 18 euros and nothing else. We had dinner here and ordered about 6 different things and nothing was good. We sent back the salad because it was the worst of all and they told us they could not take it off our bill because our reason for sending it back wasn't good enough. Ah, this place is the absolute best! The food is fantastic (I love the Ultramarinos Salad and the mushroom croquettes). The energy here is so fun. The interior design is awesome, and the inside is much larger than you expect from walking outside. It's a tough choice to sit inside or outside for people watching. The space towards the back was eclectic in decor, like a tasteful, grown up steam punk, and I thought it would be a great, fresh option for a wedding reception.
