She makes you feel very comfortable during the entire microblading process, goes over every detail and really listens to what you're looking for. I was definitely nervous, since obviously this is very permanent but I shouldn't have been. When I arrived for my first appointment I showed her pictures of what I was thinking for my eyebrows and she discussed what would need to be done to reach that look. She took a great deal of time to draw on the shape and to make sure I was happy and if not made all the adjustments until they were my dream brows. After drawing the shape she advised me on which color would look the best for my natural hair color and she got to work. She started with numbing and while that was kicking in she gave me a pillow and a blanket so I could be as comfortable as possible, after the 10 minutes it took to numb, she started the process. I have gotten my eyebrows done about 6 years ago by someone in Atlanta and I will say she was much faster than the my previous experience (and I love them so much more this time). She was great at telling me what to expect to feel in the numbing process and the rest of the procedure was pain free. After she finished we looked at the brows to see if I wanted to make any changes and then went over aftercare with me, gave me printed directions, and a packet of aquaphor (loved that I didn't have to go buy a tube that I wouldn't have ended up using after the healing process!). I will say before the initial appointment I dm'd her A LOT of questions and I definitely dragged my feet on getting it done but I am so happy I chose to go to Allee. For my follow up appointment I ended up going 4 weeks later because life and my schedule is insane and when I tell you she made all the adjustments and made my brows PERFECT, I'm not exaggerating. I wanted a higher arch and more upstrokes on my brows and she knew exactly how to achieve that with still keeping them looking natural. I can't say enough amazing things about Allee, she's an incredible person, she's so sweet and really makes you feel completely comfortable. We had the most random, amazing conversation and sad I don't need to go back for a while haha I recommend her to everyone because she's that good, do yourself a favor and go see her, I promise she's worth the drive to Summerville!

On my last visit, I wasn't greeted right away because the staff were busy with their own conversation, and only afterward did they ask my name. To make it worse, I later found out that was the district manager, which explains why the service standard feels so low. For the prices they charge, customers should feel valued--not like they're just in an assembly line.

After moving back to the great Charleston area, specifically Summerville I googled salons. I'm happy to report I found that needle in the haystack! Located in a safe and easily accessible part of town, Attitudes Salon is the best choice for men's haircuts (sorry ladies, I can only address the men reading this). The reservations are easily made on the simple to navigate website and they'll even text you reminders. Walking up, I'm not sure what I was expecting for "Attitude," was it a biker, princess, or a pinky up attitude? The answer is the attitude what you'll leave with once your hair is finished, that of confidence and satisfaction. The inside is that of any other salon; shampoos, conditioners for sale and use here, obviously seats and stations to do their work and a cashier counter to name a few. The ladies here are very friendly, even at the early hours in the morning while all being able to smile with a energetic "Attitude." For my experience I had a wonderful stylist named Jami. Fair warning I had no clue who she was but as soon as I saw her, I remembered her from high school and while she's changed and no longer 21 (but 22....) she hasn't changed. What impresses me the most about stylist is they're also wonderful conversationalist, a good skill to have while passing the time. Jamie cut my hair with love, speed and accuracy while being able to hold a conversation, offer advice and most importantly take and give good jabs as in jokes. Honestly, she made my time fly by as I didn't have a care in the world but most importantly, when she was done my hair looked exactly like the photo I showed her. In wrapping up, Attitudes is a wonderful salon that takes pride in making their customers feel as if they're the focal point and striving to meet your expectations. The key is they go out of the way to make customers feel special by listening to your story, offering grounded insight and laughing at your jokes while styling your hair that is better than anyone else can offer for an affordable amount of money. I'm glad to have reconnected with Jami and took a chance with Attitudes b/c they now have a loyal customer.
