I pulled up to the shop and although it had just closed, the owner came out to access the damage and went back in to the shop and had a small towel with some kind of potion on it. Chris Merrill went above and beyond to find second hand parts and keep the cost low. Not only that the price was very reasonable but the quality of work was outstanding. The repair was completed sooner than initially promised so we did not have to spend money on a rental and the car looked like new. I can't say enough about their professionalism, quality of work, and honesty. How refreshing to walk in a place where you have the confidence that you are treated fairly and no one is taking advantage of you because you are a woman and don't know enough about cars.

They replaced the battery, witch they just checked my battery the day before I dropped my machine off and it was good. Needless to say I made them take switch batteries back. Just a bad place.

**UPDATE*** After…read morethe initial sale... things just kept getting worse. They sold me a used bike with only one key and never told me there wasn't a spare. After I asked about it, they told me they could order another for me... but I'd have to pay for it (lame). I said okay, but they never got the KTM registration card from the previous owner, so they couldn't order another one. Ok, great! I asked if they could help out because when I call KTM, they said I would have to go through the dealer. After numerous attempts of asking my sales rep for help--nothing. After 5 or 6 attempts, I got tired of asking. So, I'm stuck with one key. Hope I never lose it! Another thing that sucks... Trojan claims that their used bikes go under inspection. However, when I got the bike there was an issue with the brake squeaking loudly when stopping. Turns out a pad needed to be fixed. The horn was also not working. So, they sold a used bike to me without even know the horn was shot? Which leads me to believe nothing was inspected and there could have been many things wrong or broken. They were cool enough to come pick up the bike and fix it for me after the sale. Wish it would have been taken care of before! Unfortunately upon delivery of the bike, I had new scratches on the tail that were NOT there prior. Assuming it's from the strap used to secure the bike in their truck during transportation to and from the dealership. The scratches are on both sides of the tail, exactly where a strap would sit. Never said anything to me. If they would have offered to fix it, I wouldn't be updating this review to a one star. But here we are. I also had asked them to email me a copy of my previous bikes odometer statement. I traded in my used bike... and instead of paying off the loan balance for me, they made me contribute $500... just to get more of my money. Since $5,400k for the used KTM wasn't enough. LOL! I said screw it because I was already at the dealership coming from an hour away. And I planned on getting a refund on my old warranty that could help cover that loss. After a few emails back and forth, I never got the copy of the statement. Frustrating sequence of events. Wouldn't do business with these guys again. If you want to buy a motorcycle, here's my advice: buy from a private seller. You'll get a better deal and more honesty.

I had raised the handle bars and the cables were 2 short. the owner ask if I had Hydraulic brakes I called back after verifying that I did. I was told the price would be 189. I brought the bike in the next day and was quoted a price of 325 plus he was telling me that the extender I purchased form a Giant dealer was no good and I should replace that too for an additional cost. I was not happy and told him that and expressed I was stuck and if I am paying that price it better be perfect. He said he could not guarantee that and refused to do the work. I would not recommend this service to anyone the bait and switch and then the push to purchase more unneeded hardware in the extension shows he is only in this to make money. I would not take your bike here for service.

Was also told the brakes were really bad and the wheels were really wobbly. The same bike had been ridden in a competition 3 days prior to that. I was told that it would be at least $100 and the bike would be barely rideable. I feel like they saw a woman who didn't have a clue and they could take her for a ride. Well guess what not happening. I watched the man test the brakes, while holding the brake handles and trying to push the bike it didn't really move. So tell me again how the brakes are really bad. They just wanted to see how much $$$ they could get. They are getting nothing!!!

I asked about a scratch on the tank as well, he said he could take care of it and agreed on a price. When Josh returned the tank, he said he had some problems with the scratch, he went through the paint and exposed the metal underneath. The scratch he was supposed to fix was still clearly visible. His solution was to not charge for the scratch repair (duh), and I could have it airbrushed. Wow, now the tank must be repainted to properly fix it. Obviously scratch repair is not his specialty, and I wish he could have just told me he could not do it instead of ruining the tank. DO NOT LET HIM FIX SCRATCHES, he is not a paint guy. Now, as far as the dent repair, he did an amazing job and I could not be happier with that. He should have stopped there and this would be a five star review. Unfortunately, instead of returning my payment because he ruined my tank and he cashed the check. I will not be a return customer. BTW, he requested that I leave a review for his business.
