I can't articulate enough how grateful I am to the work they did, or how impressed I am with the quality and detail of their cleaning work. They were communicative throughout the process, transparent on pricing, and gave a full walk-through of what they'd done (and it showed!). I took it to my old mechanic, and they said it needed a whole new engine. I went to Jim, because he is close to my office, and they diagnosed instead of a bad head gasket, an intake manifold gasket. I wouldn't have known the difference, but they told me the truth, saving me thousands of dollars. Since then, they have been my guys. They have always squeezed in my last minute emergencies. Because Jim knows I am often on a tight budget, he always tells me what I must do right away, and what I can put off and the cost and extent of what does or does not need to be done. I have even called Jim for advice when my car broke down up north and needed an engine repair up there. He didn't get a dime out of it, but he talked me down, when I was frantic, and gave me great information, that allowed me to determine that the remote mechanic I was forced to use, was honest and had given me a fair estimate. He helped me deal with my insurance company for an unexpected mechanical problem claim that came up after my body claim was completely settled, for a deer hit I had last year. When they fix my car, if it's not raining, they even run it through the car wash! Everyone is sweet, kind, NOT SEXIST OR CONDESCENDING at all. They are truly concerned about my happiness and safety! I have recommened Jim's to many friends and family members, who have all been happy, as have my co-workers! I have owned cars since 1976, and Jim's is the best mechanic I have ever had! Last but not least, fair and competitive pricing on all work! Toni Z., Madison WI

I'll definitely bring our cars here again when they need it. While I prefer to do all the auto cleaning and maintenance of our cars myself, there are times when the work really needs to be done by professionals. Brought my wife's car in for interior detailing after our dog had a seizure in the car (when you have a seizure, you don't really have any control your bodily functions, and those bodily functions got in a lot of different places...). We tried to clean it ourselves as best we could, but in the end, it really needed professional cleaning to get some of the deeper stains that we couldn't remove (and the car was overdue for a good overall cleaning on the inside, anyway) I called them and scheduled to drop the car off around noon on a Friday. The business isn't too hard to find, but very unassuming. It's right across the Woodman's on Watt Rd, behind a window blind cleaning business. the owner was very clear on how long the work would take, and what to expect as far as cost (which was also within the range stated on their website) The car looked great when we got it back, and even though we only had them to interior detailing, they washed the car on the outside, which they didn't have to do, but it was appreciated. They pulled out some stains that had set into the fabric of the back seat for months that we had figured couldn't be removed after trying several things at home to get it out. We were pretty happy with the work, and would gladly take our cars back here again.
