I was referred to this company by a friend, they were very quick to respond and set up an appointment. The morning of the appointment, they texted they were on their way, they were a touch early and very professional. The gentleman was very knowledgeable and quickly replaced our thermostat with a new Nest system. He gave us some tips and tricks with the new system, he also checked a fan we had requested that wasn't working properly for the AC, he switched out the filter and solved the issue, only charged us for the filter. He even offered to look at an outlet that was being problematic and resolved that as well. I will be passing their information along, they are great and we will be calling them again if needed. read more

Couldn't ask for a more honest company! I loved that he quoted me quickly, and didn't overcharge or up-sale me, nor give me the run around. He was on time, his answering service gave us notice when he was on his way, and he reminded us of the appointment the day before by text (which I love). We had messaged each other on yelp for a couple weeks but he never once badgered me when I couldn't get back to him right away. He gave me time to think which seems to be a rare find amongst contractors. Erez was forthcoming with information and told me he didn't do the electrical aspect of the job and gave me enough time between the in-home estimate and the day of construction to find an electrician or handy man (I.e. my husband) to finish the job. You can tell he what he was doing and was able to give us some piece of mind about the work that was previously done on the condenser. He also was smart and brought an employee with him to handle the little things. I really appreciate the care and efficiency this company prides itself on. He is professional, well mannered, well kept, and HONEST. Oh and a big bonus: the receipt. It was emailed to us immediately after finishing the job WITH A PICTURE! My rebuttal to the response by the company: Your company was hired on August 27th to conduct, assess, and identify all of the issues regarding my leaky AC unit. TEN CALENDAR DAYS later, on September 7, 2020, the unit stopped working altogether These were not unrelated issues as the system was working before AND you were hired to assess, identify and recommend solutions to resolve. If you cannot see the connection between a working but leaky AC and a completely broken unit after you "fixed it" 10 days prior, than maybe you should change professions. If you will notice, I did not mention any concerns about the pan you replaced because you informed me in advance that it needed to be replaced. I appreciated your honesty, in letting us know that the part needed to be replaced...eventually. However, you response to my review is misleading and dishonest. Truly disappointing. UPDATED REVIEW. I am giving 2 stars for Yadi's customer service and the owners efforts to find resolution. My AC unit stopped working a week and a half after Ultimate Air replaced the broken part and "fix" the problem. The unit would only blow hot air and began leaking in a different location. Again, Yadi was very nice and understanding. She quickly scheduled someone to come out ASAP. After reviewing the unit and replacing another part, he advised that the unit could not be repaired. He informed us that our unit was a new unit that was needed because the R22 compressor system was phased out in CA. You can imagine my frustration after spending almost $1,000 a little over a week ago AND paying for the labor for the returned visit. Note, we had him remove the part that was going to cost an extra $375 approximately. A new unit was going to cost around $5,600. After expressing my frustration and dissatisfaction, the owner offered to deduct a couple hundred of the total price of the new unit. When we received the updated estimate, it included additional costs ($850) for city permits and HERS tests not disclosed by the tech or the owner. Before committing replacing the AC system, we decided to pay for a 2nd opinion. A different vendor came out to assess our system and FIXED IT for around $250 which included parts and labor. Note, the part that needed to be replaced was $100 cheaper. Yadi sent a very nice note on behalf of the owner expressing embarrassment that another vendor was able to fix the unit. P.D. It's been almost 2 weeks since the other vendor fixed our AC, and it's still working. read more

My AC stopped working yesterday afternoon bringing the temperature in my home to 86 degree. I had a horrible sleepless night and contacted Erez at Ultimate Air first thing in the morning. My first time writing a review and getting RIPPED OFF made me express to everyone that uses this company to BE Aware. Erez comes to my house and says I need Freon in my unit and charged me $950 for 15 minutes of putting it in .I ask him and text him as well to check other parts of my Air conditioner for a leak but he insists that its the Freon that is the problem and to lazy to open and check my unit . The Freon lasted 3 days .I call back and tell him that I want credit towards fixing my unit because I wasted my money without him checking it completely . He tells me it will cost me $850 to check and see what's wrong on top of another $950 for more Freon . $1800 total more . He actually had the audacity to blame me for not checking the unit . Never felt Ripped Off by a company until this one . This review is totally true and real regardless of other positive reviews .
