How do i begin this awful experience.. so my wife ordered a few products online for curbside pickup and i had been added as a person to pick up the items. I arrived at the location and let the curbside app know that i arrived. The app also ask you information such as parking spot location which was the first spot visible to see my car and store in plain sight. I gave information of the color make and model of my vehicle i even included my license plate number. I sat in my vehicle for almost 15 mins looking into the store as the associates 2 females were looking at my vehicle.. so i decided to go inside the store since no one was going to " curbside" my wifes order. I enter the store and i was not greated yet was rudely talked down to when i stated that i was there to pick up my wifes order which was placed as curbside. The young lady stated that she was the store manager and stated " that she ain' t gonna let her girls leave the store front to perform a curbside and the said to me why didnt you park in front of the store.. i did not answer because " it is a fire lane that says do not park in the fire lane.... the young lady rudely asked to see my drivers license which i took a step further to actually take it out of my wallet and physically hand it to her as she barely glanced and rushed my wifes order to the counter,,, i told her i understood as i smiled and spoke calmly.. the young lady then quickly said theres your order and that i was alk set... rushing me out of the store..As i left the store i did say..this will be the last time me or my family or there friends will ever buy anything from the ulta store. I got in my car called my wife and told her my experience. I then called the ulta customer service to file a complaint. On the positive side i spoke with a ulta customer service rep by the name of "Alexia" who was very understanding and supportive about my complaint. I asked alexia a series of questions like conversation recorded and if there cooperate can review video remotely, answers were yes and yes. I gave alexia the order number and they have access to look over everything. I thanked alexia for her professionlism and support. CONCLUSION: ULTA STORE ASSOCIATE/ MANAGER LACKS CUSTOMER SERVICE AND PROFESSIONALISM, I question if i was a white person would i have been treated differently. Anyways, i will be ordering from amazon for now on and so will other family members, and their friends...ulta pittsfield will not be getting our money or business ever. I stopped in here while visiting the area because I ran out of my eyebrow gel (panic!!). Brittany was SO HELPFUL. She gently recommended I try a lighter color than I had been wearing. She was so right!! I have been wearing her recommendation for a month now and it is SO MUCH BETTER on me! As someone who does not enjoy shopping, and strongly dislikes sales pressure, I was delighted to meet Brittany and experience her low-key helpful suggestion that improved my look so much. One of the stylists messaged me on Facebook saying she could help me out with my hair. I was looking to get styled and to even out my color anyway. So I agreed to go in on Tuesday at 10:00am. We discussed color and she got to work. We talked at length about how I wanted my hair. Multiple times I stated that I don't like layers and I wanted my hair long. I asked for wispy bangs and angles around my face. Only the pictures can explain how horrid this experience became. I included a before picture for comparison as well. What I ended up with after 4 hours was essentially a shag mullet I don't know anyone who would want this hairstyle!!! Nothing short of hair extensions that'll cost me hundreds of dollars or a wig would even begin to help this atrocity of a haircut. . What made it even worse was another stylist watched as this was happening and did nothing!!!! Then when she was finally asked for help she said and I quote "I was wondering when you were going to ask me for help" I am beside myself, it isn't fixable. Even them giving my money back, minus my $40 tip that she absolutely did not deserve, can't make this better!! I will NEVER go back to this salon and I suggest no one else does either. They squeezed me in last minute to get my hair colored for my parents funeral service the following day. Ashley did a fabulous job on my color, and was very kind and empathetic towards my recent loss. When I walked in, the manager of Ulta had left me a card, flowers and a Starbucks gift card expressing sympathy for my loss from the whole store. It's great to know that there are people out there that are kind and caring. read more

Walked out looking like a wreck. If you don't understand what your seeing, those are bleached spots in my hair from the bleach leaking out of the foils into the surrounding hair. I asked for a shadow root with very blonde balayage. There wasn't ever a dark color applied to my roots, but she actually LIGHTENED them. Lines of demarcation from poorly placed foils, and also bright patches of blonde root. I got a second opinion from another salon and they were horrified. The woman who did my hair was the manager of the salon. But whoever her higher up was, was there today when I came back in to show them my hair, and she didnt even bother to come over and take a look for herself. I asked for my money back, because I don't want do go back to that salon again, and they are refusing. They're also refusing me the phone number to the district manager. I'm not ever one to complain about anything, but I'm so upset about this and so upset about the total lack of customer service. Not only did she poorly execute the hair color, she didn't even put the color in my hair I asked for. read more

Every visit to the Pittsfield Ulta has been a great experience for me! Super helpful and friendly staff! The salon staff is great! I had also gotten facials and was very happy with the results!
