When I asked what ETA her navigation said, she admitted she wasn't actually in a car and had to find a ride. Then she sent over a chop-shop hack who started washing my hair and told me she has ten minutes for me. I knew things were getting worse by the minute. In the past, i have sat in her chair while she was constantly distracted by needless side conversations. The last time she took forever to cut my hair because she was complaining endlessly that someone gave her a bad review. This is the kind of person who pretends to be accountable and then is annoyed you're reasonably frustrated. Eventually she showed up with her hothead husband who acted like a thuggish corrupt cop and made things even worse. The only appropriate response would have been to be quiet and reserved. Finally, when I said i should have been notified more than 15 minutes before an appointment that she was 45 minutes away she started SCREAMING SHUT UP. I told her that was crossing a line and then she actually lied and said I had told others the same thing as her husband started gesticulating ghoulishly gesticulating and pointing at me. At this point at 20 degrees outside i left with my hair dripping wet and noticed her husband had parked illegally in a handicapped spot by the door. I guess when she was complaining about her other customer reviews I should have seen clearly how unstable and dangerous she really is. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS.

A Disappointing Experience…read more I don't usually leave negative reviews ( see my other reviews) but after spending $395 here -- and being treated the way I was -- I feel compelled to share my experience. For context, I have been living in the Berkshires all summer taking care of my 85-year-old father and my stepmother who has advanced dementia. The last time I did anything to my hair was over a year ago because one of my closest friends did my hair for over 20 years. & she recently passed away from a brain tumor. Booking an appointment was a very emotional ordeal. I went in with dark brown hair and I wanted golden blonde highlighted hair. I also asked for a trim, saying I wanted to keep as much length as possible. Instead, I left with hair that was still brown, with just a few subtle highlights. The stylist was a very sweet, young woman, but the end result was nothing like the inspiration photo I provided -- even after a consultation beforehand a week before the appointment. The stylist I saw consulted with another stylist there, and they were both kind and professional, and I don't blame them which is why I am omitting their names. I would even see them again if they worked somewhere else because the quality of their work was good. It just wasn't what I was going for. I thought maybe I hadn't made that clear even though I brought a photo of the color I wanted. I am the kind of person who will eat the wrong meal at a restaurant rather than complain. I reached out after the appointment to express that I wasn't happy with the results and would like to see if I could come back in. I was told via text to "come in Thursday and we'll fix it." But when I replied with my availability, I got no response. I followed up the next day and received a call from the owner, Caroline. Rather than offering a solution, she defended the work for 10-15 minutes and told me things like "look at the color outside," "we just don't know how the hair is going to lift until we get in there," and lastly, "the stylists you worked with are very pleased with the results." When I calmly expressed that I wasn't happy with the results and said that I felt unheard -- I believe I said I am now feeling a little "gaslit" -- the owner Caroline started yelling at me: "I AM NOT! THAT IS NOT WHAT IS HAPPENING! I FIND THAT VERY TRIGGERING!" I ended the call -- stunned and upset. This was meant to be a moment of long-overdue self-care during a very difficult year. Instead, I left feeling dismissed and disrespected. If you're looking for beauty and healing, proceed with caution -- especially if you're not 100% satisfied with the results.

Disappointing Experience - Would Not Recommend…read more Being new to the area, I gave this salon a few tries for both cuts and color. Unfortunately, my experiences were consistently disappointing. On one occasion, a stylist applied my hair color using a dry brush, pulling so hard while putting in the hair dye that I had to ask multiple times for her to stop yanking my hair back. My hair is already fragile, so this was incredibly uncomfortable and concerning. I eventually found a stylist I liked for color, but when I booked an appointment with her in the morning, I ended up sitting there for over 25 minutes before I had to ask what was going on--only to be told that she had completely forgotten about me. I had taken time off work for this appointment, which made the situation even more frustrating. After I left, she texted me an apology and asked if I wanted to reschedule. Absolutely not. Beyond these specific incidents, the salon itself has a cold, dreary, and somewhat snobby atmosphere. The pricing is also way too high for the level of service provided. It seems like hairstylists rent their own booths, so you might get lucky with one person, but overall, I cannot recommend this place.

i went there looking for a two color hair style and hair cut, and got a hair cut- which came out…read morecute hut the color is nothing like i wanted. it was over priced and the woman didnt seem like she was interested too much in doing my hair.I felt like she was rushing on it, the color was way lighter than I asked for and she missed spits and it looks like I have grey hair in spots. at the end I felt uncomfortable and pushed to leave a tip. not a place i would recommend which is sad because they were decent before and did a great job in the past.

Cheyanne and Jess did makeup and hair for my mom and sister in law - and they looked beautiful. None of us wear a lot of makeup usually so it was really great that they were able to glam us up while still allowing us to look like ourselves, and be very natural. Highly recommend.
