This is the second time I've been in to see Giselle and have my eyebrows done. I was in Ulta about a month and a half ago. I had no idea they have this service. I was doing my usual shopping and I saw her with a customer. Even though she was busy, she took a few seconds to tell me I can go on the app and book an appointment. She was extremely friendly so I took a chance. I am so glad I did! I love Giselle! She is awesome with her customer service, experience and knowledge for someone like me who has problems with my eyes. She makes me feel beautiful. I've had a problem for over 30 years with my left eye, not tearing. As I've gotten older it's gotten worse. It's very hard for me to make my eyebrows look even. I've gone to a few other people, but I've haven't stuck with anyone. Giselle doesn't try to rush me out of the seat, she takes her time and works to make my brows look great. I am typically overwhelmed by all the options in Ulta stores. However, on my most recent trip I was able to navigate through all the brands and find the perfect products with the help of Allison! She helped me find the perfect shade to match my skin tone and gave recommendations for her favorite products. She was great and super helpful! The only drawback was that several of the products I was interested in were out of stock. Not a huge deal as I found other products I liked, but it was somewhat frustrating picking a product based on the tester, then realizing the product is sold out. I will totally go to this location again though. The staff was all super helpful! read more

I needed a fast hair cut and makeup help for a passport picture. Ulta at Shadow Lake to the rescue. Skyla fit me in to cut my bangs and bit of length off, do a scalp treatment, and dry it straight. I'm happy with the result. Then another woman helped me figure out what foundation and concealer to use as well as tips on application. Passport pictures aren't great, but with some help from Ulta, mine was passable. Thanks, Ulta! read more

I was in town over thanksgiving and visited this Ulta location with my mom and the employee who checked us out, Anoah, made the experience really uncomfortable. For starters, she wasn't welcoming at all as other employees were with the customers they were checking out and as soon as we mentioned we needed to do an exchange, she looked irritated and didn't offer a smile or any kind of friendly attitude. She seemed visibly disappointed, almost like we were doing something wrong just for exchanging a perfume as if it was coming out of her pocket. Even after we finished, and after spending over $300, my mom said "thank you," and all we got back was a dismissive "mm yeah" with an unpleasant facial expression. The whole interaction felt rude and unwelcoming. Really disappointing customer service. I'm sure she wouldn't love to be spending her hard earned money at another place of business while having a horrible experience. read more

Bought a 10 in 1 heat protectant spray which honestly was a decent deal. I Amazon searched it and this one of the more affordable locations for this product. Someone greeted me on entrance. The only downside we're the lack of display items some items didn't have a "display" sample or they were empty/broken. read more

Unless you have money growing on trees don't go here. They charged me twice by accident but made me rectify it with my bank. After waiting for the charges to clear they both went through. I called and a staff member at Ulta said no problem come in and we will return your money. Went in and the manager said they didn't show two transactions on their end and I'd have to fix it with my bank. Well my bank is amazing so of course they fixed it and disputed it but now I have to get a new debit card. Absolutely insane considering I had proof being charged twice and the cashier admitted it happened. Manager is worthless. She didn't offer to help at all. Hire better managers. I manage my own company and it was crazy how she didn't make it right and forced me to dispute it with my bank. read more

There's no Ulta way to put this: Barbie is obsessed with Ulta. She considers it the Ulta mate make up store and I think she is right. This is our favourite makeup store by far (the brand in general) and this location is at the really fancy Mall to the south of Omaha, in the suburb of Papillion. We like coming down here to this mall, and this is an excellent location which doesn't usually get too crazy busy and is full of beautiful people and decent prices on very good products. They've never not had what she was looking for, although I believe we've only been in here twice. Spent plenty, both times. The girls (and Barbie) (and I) in here are so tanned, that it must be from a lot of Ulta-violet light. read more

This location always has terrible customer service. I hate buying from this store but do so occasionally since it's convenient. I try to just walk in and out as a quickly as I can because it never fails that at least one employee is rude. They sure do a lot of standing around and customer-avoiding. The last two times I've been there, when it comes time to check out they ask for my phone number. I always politely decline to give out personal information and it never fails that they push and push and try to get it out of me. Not to mention when finished with the transaction a "thanks, have a good day," or any type of acknowledgement would be kind. Customer service these days is awful. read more

Everyone has good days and bad days it happens. However, the customer experience at this particular location is terrible. The staff are not ever professional or polite. On December 23rd my husband had one last gift to pick up. He picked up Chanel #5 and before he had a chance to look at it a staff member took it out of his hand and questioned if he was even going to buy it? What the hell?? Instead of asking 'May I help you? She was rude and had a bad attitude. He was aggravated as she continued to treat him that way through the whole purchase process. I would suggest never go there unless you are looking to be treated terrible. Another good example why online shopping is preferred these days. If I could I would give NO stars. read more

I am a diamond club member and would visit two to three times a month. During the beauty buy event I had to purchase a product online. I received the wrong color and when I took it to the store to exchange I had to pay the full price. Apparently they felt the extra $15 dollars they made me pay was worth losing the over $1000 I spent there a year. I have sent two emails to corporate from the app and have received no response. Does a woman in construction not deserve your attention or what? Sorry I just got off working and needed to come to your store (unfortunately) for makeup and a Dyson blow dryer. Decided not to get the blow dryer because I didn't want to spend anymore more than I needed at a store who doesn't care about everyone. Spent an unnecessary amount of time looking for a foundation that matches my skin color because no one wanted to give me the time of day. Thankful you have a good return policy so I can return if it doesn't work out. When addressed to the front staff she said, " sorry we are short staffed and busy" well I would've believed that if the girl in the MAC section wasn't standing there messing with things and acted like I didn't exist or the other girl standing right next to me watching me grab four different bottles of Fenty foundation because I didn't know my color also ignored me. Then the front staff member had the audacity to laugh about it. Pretty upsetting. Thankful the target ulta and Sephora can help me from here on out because I'll never shop at this location again. read more

My daughter had a gift card so we came here to get a few things. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The place was clean and organized. The one person that I could find (we came in late) was a lead cashier and she was super helpful and nice. I really like their expensive makeup section, so cute. read more

I don't enjoy shopping and going into stores I don't shop frequently is always daunting, especially when the store has as many options for each item as Ulta does. However, the staff at this location is amazing. I needed a new tinted moisturizer, mascara and a hair product that I couldn't remember the brand name, product name or look of the bottle even. Autumn was fantastic. She asked me a few questions and helped me find every product I needed in less than 10 minutes. First off the philosophy tinted moisturizer she recommended was amazing. I was a little leery at first because it looked really dark when I tried some on my wrist but she said as it warmed on my skin it would match itself. Taking a leap of faith I bought the product and boy was she right. Hands down my favorite tinted moisturizer I have ever used. Second the smash box mascara she found for me is exactly what I was looking for. I'm picky about the style of the brush in the tube because of clumping but again the one she recommended was exactly what I was looking for. Last the hair products. I told her my hair dresser loved it, it was an anti frizz serum and it smelled like skittles. She knew exactly what I was talking about and took me straight to the Kenra products. From the beginning Jill was friendly, and non judgmental about my hair! She gave me options but also her opinion on what would be best. She took my hair from a mess to a beautiful masterpiece! I asked one girl to color-match my eyebrows for the gel I wanted to get. I've had a problem with my brows being too dark. She hardly looked at me, then picked one up and said "I usually recommend this for blondes." No match, no offer to test it out, nothing. Turns out the color is way too dark! Asked another girl about brushes. "A lot of people get this one." These employees just don't seem educated enough to work in a place like Ulta. Not impressed. read more

My sister, her goddaughter and I went to the salon on Friday, May 31st, to get our hair and makeup done for said sister's wedding. We were so incredibly happy and impressed with our hair and makeup! Katie did both my hair and makeup, and on such a stressful day, really made me feel comfortable and eased all my nerves. She did a wonderful job in all aspects! Jill did my sister and her goddaughter's hair, and Laura did their makeup. Both Jill and Laura also did an amazing job!! I would definitely recommend going to the salon at Ulta if you need to get your hair and/or makeup done for any occasion. Frist time at this salon made an appointment online for haircut and style . Had an appt with Rebecca for 12 she called me and said she was running a little behind with her previous appointment if I minded coming in at 1:30 i said it was fine . when I arrived at 1:25 I checked in she sat me down asked what I wanted done i told her i wanted a layered cut and possibly some bangs .she looked nervous about cutting the bangs because of where my hair parts to the side . So I opted for a side bang .we went back she wash my hair barley wanting to touch it I started small talk with here she replied but after that took me to her station turn me away from the mirror and started hacking in to my hair never said a word never asked me where i wanted my bangs to start or how long didn't aski how I wanted my hair style just curled it . When she was done didn't ask me how i liked it or showed me the back of it (cause she literally hacked it off ) I told her when i was done looks alright but im not used to curling my hair suggestion she gave me its all in the wrist . Very disappointed with the service i got . I know that these stylists have there regular clients but that doesn't mean a new client couldn't become a regular client . There is a huge selection here. I always have loved Ulta. However don't get your eyebrows done here. It was definitely not worth the $21.
