I love being able to schedule appointments online. It makes it very easy and convenient for my schedule. I have booked eyebrow waxings at the salon and I have been very happy with my experience. Michelle does a great job and really takes her time. I think their prices for waxing are a bit steep, therefore removing one star. read more

This is a review of their spa services, not the store. The store itself is fine. I booked a half hour facial online. When I sat in the chair, the first thing the stylist said to me was: "Does your peach fuzz (facial hair) bother you?" WTF kind of question is that to ask someone who just sat down for a relaxing facial? I felt super self-conscious the whole time because of that. I guess they ask that so they can sell you the hair removal service (which I didn't spring for), but it comes off as very rude and judgmental! The end of your relaxing facial is the stylist pushing their ultra-overpriced Dermalogica products onto you. The facial itself was basically a hot towel, some exfoliation, a moisturizer and they use a special tool to help clear your pores (this costs extra). I wasn't timing it but it really did not feel like a full half hour, either. Regardless I don't feel it was worth the price tag, on top of the stylist being rude and pushy and making me feel self-conscious I will not come back for their spa services. read more

Store is great! Hairstylist another story, Laura is a stylist there, don't go to her. She's a horrible stylist, my husband and I both had haircuts from her and though she claims to understand what we both wanted for our haircuts, the outcome was not what either of us were thrilled with. We both described exactly what we wanted for our haircuts and I even showed a picture and she claims she knew what I was describing, it felt like I hardly had a haircut. I got a gift card for my birthday and never been to an Ulta because I heard they're very expensive.. They were not wrong, definitely amazing place to be for a make up lover though! So after walking around for about 15 minutes I'm asked if I need help. I said yes I was looking for a eye brow pencil but not too expensive. She takes me to a $43 pencil. SO then I asked if they had a clearance section, discount products, whatever. She literally yelled "Oh yesss all the clearance products are over in that corner!" Almost had a complete anxiety attack. 3 stars is because I love how it was organized. read more

I'm giving two stars for two reasons 1) product selection 2) perfume selection Staff is clueless, no one offered be help til I had to ask 4 sales girl who were having their own conversation if one of them was available to help me. I asked for help because I wanted a new foundation from what I use now FitMe matte & poreless shade 228 (keep in mind I told & showed her the shade) she then color matched me with awful colors. The lighting is not the best in there so from what I saw one of the colors seemed to match pretty well, great I brought it home and compared and you couldn't be more off!! Seriously, you sell makeup and can't even color match correctly? I will go back for the products they offer but I will not ask for help from staff. They should be a little more educated on makeup and the products inside the store. read more

my friend experienced terrible customer service. usually she doesn't care about rude employees but she was at Ulta the other day and she asked an employee to help to unlock the perfume case and she rudely responded in a very mean tone to us and usually we don't mind mean service but she was rude for no reason at all. someone else came and unlocked it still not very friendly. I've never had a good experience at this Ulta I'm sorry but if you're not friendly or even faking a friendly attitude you should not be working in customer service. read more

This is a newer Ulta in my area so I have only visited a few times but I am very pleased with the few visits I've had. The staff are very helpful and greet you when you come in and ask if they can assist in any way. The store is also pretty well stocked even with newer items that come out. The store is also super clean and organized which makes it really nice to find something without having to search. Definitely planning on making this my new go to Ulta since it's now the closest one to me and I'm happy with the experiences I've already had there! read more

I've been shopping at Ulta for years, and was excited when a location finally came to Lancaster. Not impressed with this one however. Ulta does a free birthday gift & when I tried to redeem mine, I was told they ran out & the manager told my cashier when she asked that she could give me "something from the expired makeup" that they have in a corner behind the register. I'd rather have nothing at all then something that is EXPIRED and could cause me to have a reaction or breakout on my face....worst of all it was an expired mascara. read more

I was hoping I could stop in a buy a few products for vacation. I had never been in an Ulta Beauty store before and I was a little overwhelmed by the size and variety of products. It took me a bit to figure out the layout and organization. Unfortunately no one offered to assist me so I ended up leaving with nothing because I could not find the items I was looking for. It's a shame since this store is much closer to my home than Sally's. However, the staff at Sally's always greet me and offer assistance so it is worth the trip. read more

How rude....... I walked in was not greeted. Walked by multiple workers more than once and not a single one asked if I needed help. They had no problem continuing their personal conversation.. I was in need of a change, so I came to Ulta to get my hair done for the first time. I loved that I could get a same-day appointment online with minimal fuss, even so close to the holidays. The first thing I noticed were that there were several very happy repeat clients around me, and that speaks volumes. Michaela did a phenomenal job with my highlights and my haircut. I stopped by the Lancôme area and was greeted by Laura; lovely lady with excellent listening skills. She spent a good 30+ minutes working with me on matching my skin to a foundation and concealer. I got my hair cut and highlighted here and was so happy with the entire experience! Not only did I get a beautiful color perfectly blended, but they were able to give me a cut to fix a terrible haircut I got elsewhere. You can tell that the stylists are knowledgeable, experienced, and love what they do. They took their time to give me a quality cut and color and I never once felt like they were rushing through, even though full highlights take a rather long time. I visited this location and felt I was racially profiled. I was shopping to kill some time before meeting a friend and stopped in. I browsed for a while and found a Stila product I was interested in testing. Your associate had been in my vicinity and finally asked if I needed help with that 'glitter'. I said no, but thank you. She smartly responded, 'because you've got a lot there,' rolled her eyes and proceeded to stay within feet of me for quite some time. It was unnecessary. I simply wanted to try a few colors and planned on buying one or two however, she completely made me feel unwelcome and uneasy. There was absolutely no reason for her to be so crass and for her to follow me as she did. I literally had to walk in the opposite direction to get away from her. You should really teach your associates how to deal with all types of people and let them know that it's possible to efficiently and POLITELY manage loss prevention and still be pleasant. She was so obvious and rude about it. You should really try to do better and teach inclusion. read more
