I got my hair and makeup for homecoming this yeah here and I'm usually not pleased with my services at other salons but the people here nailed what I wanted!! I'll be coming back for all my styling in future.

I get my nails done regularly and have a salon I normally go to, but since I live nearby, I decided to try Luxe Salon and booked a gel builder appointment online. I was really looking forward to it, especially because I'm leaving for vacation this week. When I arrived, the nail tech started filing my nails and asked what I wanted. I told her I wanted a French tip. Her response was, "I don't have time to do that." I was completely caught off guard. I asked why, especially since a French tip would only add a few extra minutes. She told me I hadn't added it when booking. Since it was my first time at the salon, I genuinely didn't realize that was something I needed to select separately. I also don't remember seeing anything that made that clear when I booked. I politely asked if there was a reason she couldn't accommodate it, and she continued to tell me she didn't have time and that I should go somewhere else. Other women who were there getting their nails done even looked confused by the interaction. I ultimately left with half of my nails filed and in tears. When I checked out, I explained what happened to the front desk, and while they apologized, I was told there was nothing they could do. As a professional, I understand that appointments have time constraints and that certain services may need to be booked in advance. But the way this situation was handled was completely unacceptable. Luxe Salon didn't just lose my business--they lost the business of people I would have recommended them to as well. I have genuinely never felt strongly enough about a business to write a negative review before. This experience was that bad. I would not recommend this salon and will never be returning.

Walking into Mulberry Salon it is just so cozy in there. Big wooden mirrors that give a very rustic vibe, and good luck finding a sweeter gal than Amanda who greets you so kindly every time you walk in the door. (Love her). Add on top of that these top-notch stylists and it's just a recipe for success. They have a stylist for every hair type and any time I go in those girls are all in there crushing it, creating magic. (Love you margaret). The owner of the salon was even kind enough to add to my already pleasant experience, and it just makes you feel so appreciated as someone who goes in there and commits their time and money. (did I mention there's wine? May not have to be a selling point for you but it just adds to the pampering experience) All-in-all, Mulberry Salon and Spa is an amazing place to treat yourself and feel beautiful and confident. If you're looking for a new salon and you just aren't sure where to start, I'd highly encourage Mulberry to be your first stop :)

Tina was great! I got the best haircut I've gotten in a long time. Tina (the owner/stylist) really listens to what you want. Throughout the haircut, she asked me if I wanted to adjust this or that, talked about what she was doing, and it was really helpful in getting the perfect cut that for me will be both easy to maintain, able to dress up, and also really stylish. She nailed it. She also seems like a really great person. Very nice, down to earth, and easy to work with...with a great sense of style & what will work for you. Alana at Viva La Vida does the best color of them all. To top that off her cuts are great as well. She is so customer oriented- she really listens to what you want and asks all the right questions.
