    Quality customer service still exists! At least at this Ulta location. Talayah didn't just point me in the direction of suggested products and then walk off. She made suggestions, escorted me to where stuff was located and helped me match shades for various things. She informed me of what was popular in addition to personal recommendations. Another guy chimed in with some make-up pro tips as well, I wish I could remember his name but he was really nice too. I walked out less confused than when I walked in and confident in my purchases. I'll definitely be back.

    Ran across their Instagram page and fell in love with the short blonde bob they had. I looked…read morethrough their website including their yelp page. Even through I saw bad reviews on yelp I figured I would give them a chance. I placed an order for the blonde bob as well as their glue. This was on December 12th. A few days later I called their number several times on different days to ask a few specifics on the hair (it didnt state the hair was custom made or what color the lace would be...etc) but no response just sent to voicemail each time. On December 13th and 14th I sent a message to the Instagram page and someone responded to me there and answered my questions. I asked if it was possible for me to receive my hair before Christmas but I was told that it took 10-15 business days to receive. Because I ordered it so late I knew that I wouldn't be getting my hair until January 3th, sucks but I took it as my fault. By January 9th I still had not received it so I sent a message to the Instagram page. No response. Sent a message next day January 10th...no response. Called their number. Again no response, I was just sent to voicemail. So I left a voicemail. By this time I was worried that I just gave over $300 to a scam. I believe it was the next day that I wrote a comment their Instagram page asking for a call back , I got a response immediately and my comment deleted of course. But I was told to send a text to their number. So I did on January 11th. I think I may have been taking to a couple different ppl (the entirety of phone text through refund) because the same points were constantly told to me and it didn't seem like they were even trying to understand my frustration. I was told that they had many orders and that 3 days processing has to be calculated to the 10-15 business days and that the holidays had to be factored in as well. So.... From Dec 12th with the three processing days that means by Dec 15th and take off Christmas day and New Year's day (which to me is not a holiday- one that you get off work for, but fine) that means I should have received my hair by January 9th, or 10th the latest. That is if we go with the max of 15 days....right?? Did I miss something? Well of course I was upset by now because I was being argued with and told that it would take another week. Mind you this first few texts to the number started on January 11th. I was told I would receive the hair by January 18th. By January 23rd...nothing January 26th still nothing. I texted again asking that I hope this is not a scam...and I was told it take 10-15 days and they are custom so if I can't wait the allotted time them I could get a refund! Hold on what?!?! It's now January 26th over a month since I order the hair and I'm still being told to wait the 10-15 business days? After a few exchanges of words I asked for my refund. I understand that as a business things get hectic and depending on the type of business you might get an overflow of orders...which of course is good...more money! But if you tell your customers a specific time frame try sticking to that. If not then a quick email (because I created an account with them on their website) letting me know what is going on with my order would have been great. I would not be happy but at least you as a business is doing your job to keep me in the loop and informed. That was all I asked for and needed. I didn't know what was going on or where my order was, but they were always posting on Instagram( again I'm not mad about that) but answer my calls at least once let me know that I am in good hands. They were quick to refund my money, but I wasted all that time waiting. I had plans and I could have spent it on something else. I won't be buying from them again, and just want to give who ever wants to buy from them a heads up. ****I added a few pictures from the conversation I had with them.

    It hurts me to write this review, mainly because I literally have no time due to my work schedule…read morebut I'm making time because of how egregiously terrible my experience was with Ty the owner of this company and Cindy, her assistant. I place an order for two glueless 360 lace frontal wigs, which cost me over 1K. Cindy was initially giving me a difficult time booking my install because I wanted to pay for the fitting on the day of my app -- total cost for the fitting was $300. Although I had been following the AllureandMore IG account for almost 5/yrs, I had never had enough confidence to wear a wig -- I just didn't if it was for me. Since this was my first experience with the company and I had already spent over 1K on wigs that I had not seen or touched, I pushed back on paying the fitting. I would later be thankful for my smart thinking. I was told by Cindy and Ty that the wigs would take 30/days to make. I was fine with that gave me time to plan my trip to DC for the fitting. Fast forward to day of fitting -- Ty/Cindy had ordered the wrong Brazilian Kinky Curly wig (it was ta 3A versus my 4D texture. And the density was lacking, it was very thin and not a full head and the cap was too big. Ty was actually professional about it and called Cindy to place a new order for a more full density 4A to 4D textured wig -- Great! She had a similar kinky straight wig which was longer than my 16inch order but she used that wig to kind of do the fitting -- this wig was only slightly too big for my head. She also told Cindy to make sure the new wig that was being ordered had a small cap. But what about the other wig? She had not received it yet, Ty claimed it would come in the mail the following day. But I was only in town for the day... at this point I was trying to maintain my trust in Ty and not freak out as the situation was starting to seem like a scam. I paid all this money and now you're telling me that I'm going to have to walk away without my purchase?! I'm very thankful I didn't pay a fitting dee because there was no fitting! Fine, I leave expecting that at the very list I'd get the straight kinky wig in the mail by the end of the wig. Long story short after a few follow up texts with Ty, I finally get the two wigs nearly over 2/mos later. The wigs arrived two wigs apart from each other. The curly kinky wig arrived damp, smelling like mildew and had white flakes all over it (i soaked, washed and conditioned the hair? ... oh and the cap was too big. The straight kinky wig arrives two weeks later (this was the one she initially said she would be receiving in the mail the day after my fitting appt) -- the cap on this wig was also big. It was so big that the hairline on the wig came down to my eyebrow. I reached out to Ty the next day. Her immediate response was that she was on set and could talk -- not "I'm sorry", not "I'm on set right but I will get back to you as soon as I'm able", not that "I want to make this a better experience for you " -- no instead, Ty was extremely rude and responded with a tone of "So, what do you want me to do about that" -- I ignore her response and continued to text her my feelings about my experience with her company considering I was a fan. She then rudely directs me to her assistant Cindy. I first called the number Ty provided for Cindy -- she didn't answer, I get a google voicemail box. So I text the number, to which I Cindy replies that she is on another business call. I wait an hour and check back in -- she's supposedly still on the call. So I text her the exact same summary of my experience with the fitting and receiving the wigs over 2/mos later and its the wrong size. CIndy proceeded to telling me nothing could be done because I've had the wigs for over 30/days. I informed her I had just received the wigs but she insisted that I had them the entire 2/mo -- I recommended she check in with the delivery records to confirm if I was telling the truth. Cindy and I exchanged text messages for a few hours, the entire time she was incredibly rude and painfully ghetto. It was as if both Ty and Cindy failed customer service 101. I couldn't believe this was happening. How can you have a customer spend over 1K on your product and you don't deliver on anything -- not the wigs or the fitting. This situation is so horrific that I reached out to my lawyer and unfortunately I was informed that nothing could be done. It would cost more to engage in any litigations on this matter than it was work. I would have to cut my losses. As painful as this experience was for me, I am thankful that I am in a position where I can afford to literally put $1k in the garbage. No one should have to through their hard earned money in the trash... no one! So, don't believe the hype ladies -- Ty/Cindy and the Allure and More brand is a fraud. You will NOT get what you paid for. They will initially kill you with kindness because they are cowards and scamming you. SCAM!
