Confession... so this was my first time ever inside the ever so popular beauty store. There is a first time for everything, right? This is beauty supply paradise, many of our beauty enthusiasts would think! I am pretty particular about the products I use and I don't use a ton of different things, but I was glad to see that they offered so much there + it was so organized! I initially went there to get some items for a birthday gift and I ended up finding a few items that I needed (and already use). The customer service was so great from when a staff member asked me if I needed help to the time I checked out. Everything was a breeze. Fortunately (for me) the store was not super busy, so physically distancing was super easy to do. I did not realize that there was another Ulta Beauty that I had seen at another part of Baton Rouge; recently. Happy to see more of these pop-up! read more

I absolutely love going to Kristin at the Salon at Ulta Beauty. She always knows what to do to get exactly the result I want and she gives me recommendations of products for my hair. The staff is always professional and so friendly. And I get to earn rewards points while getting my hair done. I love it so much, I don't care about looking like a wet cat in the middle of the store, which is saying a lot. read more

Happy to say they seem to have fixed the AC problem that plagued them their first year plus of business - it is no longer make-you-sweat hot in there. Very spacious and clean, helpful and friendly staff. I was thrilled to see they have the Benefit Brow Bar, as it had become nearly impossible to book at the mall location. They have amazing employees, and I have become a fan of Jessica. She tames my brows when they suddenly get out of control! I've been able to get her as a walk in every time, even when i was squeezed in. I'd be happy to make an appointment, but I've lucked out. Do try to schedule one, though. The other brow girl has done mine too, and she did a great job as well. I tried their salon for brows before. The employee there sort of knocked the idea of the brow bar. But i was heading out of town, so I took the appointment. She smelled of cigarettes, and I did not like her technique of leaning you back in the chair and being uncomfortable over the sink. So I'll hold out for the Benefit Brow Bar from now on. These stores can be a little overwhelming sometimes, but worth it to pick up what you need or try new things. read more

Ulta is great way to spend your lunch hour and paycheck ! Ulta carries many of the high end brands that Sephora has with the addition of numerous lower priced brands like ELF and NYX as well as tons of cruelty free brands like Pacifica and The Body Shop. The staff are nice and helpful without being pushy giving you the time to play and experiment with new and favorite products. Ulta also offers salon services and a huge array of hair products again ranging from drug store brands to those more high end like Living Proof and Drybar. read more

I come to this location often and have never had a bad experience. The store is well stocked and clean. The staff always greets me when I walk in, and they often offer assistance as I shop. I wanted to leave a review because this afternoon I had to make an exchange on a gift I had received. The associate I spoke with at the register was very kind and helped exchange the item along with a manager. I know that the holidays can be a taxing time for retail employees so I really appreciated their time and patience with me. In addition to that, the rest of the staff had great energy whether they were talking to customers or amongst each other about their tasks. It was a 10/10 trip and I hope that the employees know that even their smallest efforts make all the difference! read more

Do not go here if you're a person of color !!! Soon as i walked in a white girl followed me and asked me if i needed help, didn't even give me a chance to look for what i needed. When i got by the perfumes i noticed she just stopped by and started watching me the whole time, as i proceeded to call my husband to ask what he needed and walks around i see that same girl watching me, i felt soo uncomfortable and ended up leaving and shop at a different location! It messed up my whole day because i always shop in the towne center area. I felt racial profiled. read more

I love this place. Ulta is a girls happy place anyway.... but when you add great customer service, it gets dreamy. I had a "rush visit" this weekend - Had to get in and out fast and couldn't find the one product I needed... the sales ladies quickly noticed my frustration and jumped in to the rescue with kindness and most importantly SPEED! I love this new location. Well, actually I only think its new. I have never seen it here before now. Its a pretty large location. Tons of product to choose from. There stock is much better than others in the area. All the ladies were attentive and constantly offered help. I purchased quite a few goodies today. I wanted to treat myself. I was rang up by Victoria. She was super sweet and helped me to add a couple small items up front to my purchase. They do have the Mac counter here if you're interested. read more

Went to do curbside pickup and the women working were extremely rude. Watched them bring other orders to other cars in the rain no problem. When mine was ready, I was asked to pull up closer to the store since it was raining. 1.) it was barely drizzling, definitely raining less than when they brought out other orders 2.) why do I have to pull up closer and they don't? Also, they threw the bag with my order on my backseat. Didn't even rest it down, just tossed it. Terrible customer service. Don't go here. Sticking to Mall of Louisiana location! read more

No one speaks yet follows you around like a criminal.. I have spent thousands of dollars here yet they profile you like your just there to steal.. I hate Ulta and will NEVER in life shop there again. My mother set up an appointment for an everyday makeover, after having the same routine for the past 14 years, for 10am this morning. When we arrived they were shocked to see us and after having to look for us in the system for 5 minutes, told us that the MUA, Wendy, their system paired us with wasn't in. They called her in front of us and asked her to come in but "she's sick but will be coming in later if she feels better" even though they told us she'd come in for her reservation at 4. So, basically they called and woke her up and she didn't want to come in so she made up an excuse (we aren't stupid). They called the Ulta at Juban but still were unable to help us resolve this error on their part. After the call with them the woman told us that she was very sorry but there's nothing she can do for us and that we'd have to come back another day for something we reserved a time for. Please know that it's taken a lot of convincing for my mother to work up the courage to come get this done and now that it's gone down like this I doubt she'll feel comfortable trying again. I'm very upset that this is how they treated my mother and it took everything in me to not make a scene but she raised me better than that. Don't book an online appointment if you don't want the same treatment. Just disappointing. We will not be returning. read more
