They did a horrible job on my nails. Tim was texting the whole time and his head was somewhere else. He did the acrylic then he had a lady do my color. The design was really bad so she redid it with a different color and no designs. I left with bumpy nails with dents in them and a no design. I'm very unhappy. This was such a big waste of a day. I can't stand my nails. I'm getting them redone first thing tomorrow. read more

When I first moved to this side of town it was a bit difficult to get in (they require you to schedule an appointment online). I tried a few other places, but I did not like them. I decided to give Tim's another chance. They remembered my first experience and took the time to explain why they prefer online scheduling. I appreciated this a lot. I found this to be very thoughtful and professional. I am very particular about my nail shape. I have not found anyone in the city that can get a perfect shape like Tim. Naomi does great work too! Plus she does designs. What I like most about Naomi is she will work with you to get a design that looks good (she will tell you if something doesn't look good and will also give ideas on how to make a design look better). Tim is incredible! He's not a nail tech, he's a nail artist. He takes his time and gives so much incredible attn to detail in each nail with every service given. I've been coming for 2 months and after moving from another state and trying to find someone who fit my likes of quality and creativity, Tim is my guy. Tim is your guy too. Give him a try, but please keep in mind these complex designs take work and take time. Nothing worth having that's quality is cheap.... he's worth every penny from a single polish to elaborate nails, Tim is your man. His wife, she's a doll as well. They're extremely friendly people. I'm very skeptical when it comes to getting my nails done at other nail salons. If you see my previous post/pictures I only trust one person, but I'm all the way in Baton Rouge. Even though this salon only had one star I saw quality work on instagram. I should have told Tim to cut my cuticles, but other than that; his overall work has my vote. I'll def. come back for a fill. This salon by far was on of the best experiences i have ever had. The staff was very friendly, and i was surprised that it wasn't as busy as i thought it was on a Saturday before a holiday. I walked in and they asked me what i needed, i told them a pedicure and a dip powder manicure. They made my water and what was good about that was that i saw them clean out the chair and the used something looked like a shower cap for the inside the bowl. As he proceeded to do my pedicure he made sure i was comfortable before handing me a tray to start soaking off my nails. I really appreciated that they let me nails soak cause i hate when they rush and force the stuff off of my it hurts me. He did a very good job on my pedicure, and the thing i loved most was that HE TOOK HIS TIME! He was in no rush and neither was I so i really appreciated that, he got every inch of my nail and even did a good job with my shape. Then he proceeded to do my nails, he was very kins with the drill again he took his time and made sure all the previous nail matter was off. He did a great job with my shape i like my nails square with rounded edges and he took his time and made sure my shape was perfect. Then the owner came and did my dip power, however, he did it the way you applied the acrylics which was different but i didn't mind because it seemed more sanitary rather than just people sticking their fingers in the powder. He too took his time and made sure every inch of my nail was covered. Overall I think i have found my new nail salon, i had a wonderful experience and the price wasn't bad either I paid $63 dollars total. I also like that they have inspiring quotes as well. However, i would have given them a 5 star rating but their shop smells strong with chemicals which i know cant be good for them or their clients. if they fix that problem then i would be happy to give them 5 stars. read more

I received a pedicure and a full set. The lady who did my pedicure was TOO ROUGH! She rushed the polish job which left it appearing lumpy. A guy sat outside and smoked cigarettes the whole time with the door open. It took away from my usual pedicure experience at other salons. On the other hand, Billy did an awesome job on my nails. This nail spa is AWESOME!!! This was my first time visiting Tim's Nails since he left PA Nails and I am not disappointed. The gel pedicure, performed by the young lady, was out of this world and it left my feet feeling like I was walking on clouds. Tim took his time with my nails, and did an amazing job. The polish job is impeccable. He's also very skilled when it comes to waxing eyebrows. The atmosphere of the shop is very soothing and spa like, and the staff are pleasant, which adds to the comfort of the shop. I will surely be back! read more

If I could leave NO stars I would! Went in on Tuesday based on a reference. I was not greeted initially, but I tried to overlook that and asked about a pedicure and dip powder. The pedicure was poorly done because the end result was uneven, sloppy polish with no top coat(didn't realize until after I was out of the chair). They have no clue about the true dip powder technique... they soaked off my nails by dipping in bowls of acetone instead of using cotton wrapped in foil(tried to overlook that)...they drilled in my nail bed and began to apply acrylic(which I stopped them in the first nail)...they cut my nails down as I asked but uneven on one hand so they had to file lower to correct(after I had to correct them about uneven shape TWICE)....they kept drilling to get the correct shape and my cuticles (one time even causing a burning sensation and I had them to stop)....uneven nail beds and rigid corners reflect that! They applied 2 thin coats of polish before dipping and I could see my nail beds THROUGH the polish. I always get a nude pink color at any shop and have NEVER had this problem before as I told the tech Tim. They put me under UV light after adding what must have been a gel polish... another NO NO! Dip Powder is a healthier process then gel or acrylic with No GEL or UV LIGHT needed! Again, they have No Clue about dip powder nails! And to top it off, they STILL charged me for Acrylic that I had them remove because they said that the price is the same.... No that's bad business and I would never return or recommend.
