I had a 2 hour full relaxation massage with Cat and I have to say she's one of the most gifted therapists I've ever encountered. The massage itself was absolute heaven then being able to wind down in the relaxation room after which offered infused water, teas and fruit and then be able to relax for a bit in the jacuzzi made my spa day an unforgettable experience. I have been stressed for a very long time and I decided to treat myself to a massage When I called to schedule the appointment the receptionist told me that it was gonna cost me $150 for an hour relaxation massage. I thought that was high, but Bumble Lane came highly recommended The spa itself me is very and nice well appointed. When my masseuse, Darius, came to get me, he walked away from me and mumbled all the way to the back so I didn't understand anything he said. When I got on the table it was hot, but I thought that it would eventually cool off. I told Darius I did not want him to touch my head. So, the first thing he does is put a hot rag across my eyes. Part of the reason I didn't want him to touch my head was because I didn't want to mess up my make up. He didn't ask me before he did it he just did it. He never asked me if I was comfortable. When I finally pulled my arms out from underneath the blankets and told him that I was too hot, he asked me if I wanted to turn the heat on the table down. I scheduled a relaxation massage - I have had deep tissue massages and I knew I didn't want that, but the one I got felt like my child running her hands over my body. Again he never asked me if the pressure was too light or too strong. This massage was one of the (if not the) most unsatisfying massages I've ever had in my life. This business has attempted to have me remove my review since it was posted in July 2013. The authenticity of Yelp reviews are a joke and I no longer trust it. Anyway, I give this business 0 stars for their Brazilian wax. Laina was very rough. When she was "done" some of my skin was raw. She used the wax with strips and she didn't remove all of my hair. When I returned home, I had to shave what was left and add Neosporin to my sensitive skin areas. I do not recommend this business for ethic concerns and I do not recommend anyone receiving a Brazilian wax from Laina. read more

This is my first time at the infamous Bumble Lane! They immediately saw me to the changing room with locker, shower & jacuzzi. I'll save the jacuzzi for later . After putting a cozy plush robe I moved on the "Relaxation Area" complete with soft comfy couches with big soft pillows and healthy refreshments. The lighting is nice & dim with soothing, calm music. I'm real tempted to just fall asleep here while waiting for my hour message . Ahhhhhh....... Heading to the massage room now.... One hour later... back in the relaxation area this time enjoying something nourishing to eat & drink. I am now in denial! I never want to leave this place!!! Wishful thinking . It's been way too long since I had a good massage! This one was incredible! Summer, my massage therapist assigned to me, worked on all the tense areas I told her about. She was also mindful about the area near my injury. My favorite was having my head messaged ! That WAS the best scalp massage I have ever had! If you're not tired of reading this review yet, hold on... I will pause for now to enjoy the jacuzzi. Well, that water was HOT! It was wonderful. A shout out to Samatha who offered to light the candle & bringing me a delicious chilled glass of white wine along with more water! The locker room attendant, Miss Palestine, was very helpful, kind & companionate as well! A few things here that NEED attention: Since I am temporarily on crutches I noticed a few safety issues. No safety grip bars in shower & jacuzzi area. No mat at entrance to jacuzzi to insure a safe entrance and exit there of. Safety exit door in Relaxation area is partially blocked by couch & side table. Also, walls inside jacuzzi pool are yellowed and seating has gritty partials which this all may be the result of the essential oils they put into the water according to one of the staff members. read more

I got 4 oz bottles What little I did get was sent in a priority mail ENVELOPE!!! Some dimwit was too lazy and/or cheap to package liquids in a BOX... Oh, and let alone make sure lids were tight. What did arrive, came half empty and damaged. Just spoke to manager... bumbling idiot, Casey Little. Refused to make right... Completely unapologetic for intentionally sending much smaller size products, for the same charge, with no prior notification. This business is not trustworthy! LOVE me some Bumble Lane. I have tried many establishments over the years and always come back to this one. As soon as you walk in, the smell intensifies and instantly relaxes you. Check in/check out is a simple process. The changing area is heavenly. Two steam showers, a "hot tub", two vanities and many products to try. A steam shower after a massage is a must! The sitting section is so dark and cozy. I always go a little early to enjoy a few extra minutes of peace. I have never had a bad facial or massage. Her name was Mary and I cannot WAIT to come back for another massage and plan to send my husband to see her as well. The atmosphere is so inviting and the products are laid out so well. It's bright and happy! Was so excited to see they carry Bond No.9 fragrances! Heck yes! Samantha helped me a lot when I was in there. She led me to the Eminence line of skincare, which I guess is all organic stuff. I was in the market for an exfoliant and ended up taking home the Strawberry Rhubarb Dermafoliant. I use it all the time, it is the best and has really helped my skin. Like...visibly other people notice my skin looks better! She sent me home with a sample or two and I may be coming back for the Pear and Poppy Seed Exfoliant and some other products! I have on several occasions visited Bumble for a massage or a pedi. I figured that I would put them to the ultimate test. I reserved a spot for an all day extravaganza called the Jazz Fest package. This included a 1 hour relaxation massage, coffee scrub, mud wrap, mani and pedi and a Louisiana lunch to fit a queen! It was such hard work relaxing for 8 hours (sarcasm!) Bumble Lane indeed met and exceeded all of my expectations. When I walked out of there I felt like Dorothy, I was primped, buffed, and polished and ready for the yellow brick road. Bumble lane really keeps up appearances. It's what continually pulls me back to this spa over others. The massages I've had are good, but so are others I've had around town. I can't say theirs is hands-down the best. That pretty much depends on which massage therapist you've booked with anyway. What I can say is that I love to come here to RELAX. Sure, I could pay less and go to a salon / spa, but I don't want to listen to hair dryers while I wait. I absolutely loved my experience at Bumble Lane. I've never had a massage or a facial before and figured I'd treat myself one day when I could part with the expense. When Bumble Lane had a sale in July, I jumped on it and bought a gift card at 20% off. Since I've never been to a spa I didn't know what to expect. I wanted a facial but didn't know which one to choose. So before I booked one, I used the website to contact someone at the spa to ask what to do. Not 30 minutes later I had an email from Casey letting me know I could book the customized facial and talk to the esthetician at my appointment to see what she suggested. So with that I booked the facial and was super excited. When I got to the spa I was really impressed with the locker room and the relaxation room. They had really good snacks and the robe was so comfortable. My esthetician was Jennifer and she was AMAZING! I honestly couldn't have gotten anyone better. We talked about what I thought were my problem areas and skin issues and she put together the best set of products and masks for me. When it was all over I was so relaxed. And Jennifer set out some of the products she used so I could have a look at them. She didn't try to push them on me, she just let me see them in case I wanted to buy them later (when I had actual money to buy these luxury items). So glad I bit the bullet and booked with Bumble Lane. I will definitely be going back and asking for Jennifer. read more

The store itself is extremely inviting with the smells of different soaps, perfumes, candles, candies and more!! The relaxation room is exactly what they say!! the low lighting, cucumber infused water, nuts and berries as well as apple and oranges. Like I said the place is really inviting. The only issue I had was customer service. When I entered the store I was not greeted at all. I went to the counter and a lady just starred at me as she folded robes.. not even a smile. The second lady was helping some and when she finished she was a really big help. if it wasn't for her i wouldn't have booked an appointment. I went to my appointment and the same thing... NO greeting at all!!!! What is up with these folks. Don't you like your job!! This was my first time at this location and the lady was so vague about going to the back. She gave me a robe and shoes and left. Thanks to the clients that were in the back helped me out and directed me of where to go. I go into the relaxation room and sat until my name was called. Once I get into the massage room, the guy did an awesome job of explaining everything. He really made my nervousness subside. He was professional and courteous. I thanked him and appreciated his time. If it wasn't for Darious friendliness and making me feel at ease Bumble lane would have gotten one star. The massage therapist are working hard being in the back being courteous and professional with great bedside manner. You all have poor customer service on the front end that could possibly ruin the great people you have on the back end. read more

First time client. I really think the front desk needs to do a better job of explaining the process to you. The door leading you into the "relaxation room" has a sign above it that says "EXIT", So after I changed I was extremely confused. I basically just stood there in my robe until an employee came along that i could ask for direction from. But even still, she only motioned me to the door that said Exit and gave no further instruction. The Relaxation Room is essentially a waiting room. Which is fine. But I didn't feel very relaxed, being that I had no idea if I was waiting to be called back or if I had to go back into a massage room to wait. All very confusing. The massage itself was a little lackluster. The woman I had talked the entire time. I was planning on just falling into sleep and only talking back in response of pressure or turning over. I never really relaxed during my massage and if anything I was just uncomfortable the entire time. I was really disappointed that she talked the entire time. I felt obliged to engage with her. My one word answers weren't enough of a hint and I don't like being rude and ignoring. Overall, awkward. She also gave no warning before applying something of a hot temperature to my back at one point. She asked me to acknowledge if the pressure is too firm right when she started. But since it wasn't, I had no complaints. However, she increased her pressure inconsistently throughout the massage and again- aren't you supposed to make sure your client is comfortable if you change technique? The changing rooms were dirty. There was food on the floor and the shower had not been cleaned either. Dust to be seen in areas around the rooms. Grime left over from showers from other people. Love this place. Every time I come to visit my friend, we get massages here. This time, I brought my daughter to celebrate her 21st birthday. They went above and beyond to make the experience special. We were put in a private room with champagne, cheesecake bites, and flavored water. I've had a very rough week and have needed a spa day for a long time. I finally had the time to treat myself so I decided to splurge with a massage and facial. My massage was very nice and Beryl's hands are magically warm. Seriously, she's awesome. My facial was scheduled to start 30 mins after my massage so I sat back in the waiting area and read a magazine. I have zero sense of time but after a while, all the people who went back for their massages were starting to come back. I went to check the time on my phone I stored in a locker as there is no clock in the waiting area and to my disgust, it was 45+ minutes past my appointment time! I went to the front desk since it was obvious I was forgotten and they offered me a 30 minute facial instead of my scheduled hour. I was so angry and upset that the facial would have been worthless and my massage was negated since I am now tensed up again. It has seriously been a terrible week and this was just the cherry on top to finish it off. They will certainly charge you for missing an appointment but when they miss your appointment, all you get is a "sorry." read more

Bumble Lane is my favorite full service spa in Baton Rouge. It is centrally located within the popular Towne Center shopping area in the heart of Baton Rouge. While their services can be a bit pricey, the ambiance and extra amenities certainly make the price worth it. The locker rooms contain a whirlpool, shower rooms, and lots of free luxury products (lotions, shampoos, etc.) to try. The relaxation room is serene, comfy, and well stocked with fruits, nuts, teas, and fruit infused water. I have had massages and mani-pedis at Bumble Lane and have always enjoyed the professionalism of the staff there. read more

Also the person preforming the facial talked the entire time so relaxing wasn't part of it. My massage on the other hand was really good.
