During my visit 3 weeks ago to do an exchange…read moreand some shopping an employee working on the sales floor was wearing her mask as a chin warmer, she was coughing without covering her mouth several times while stocking garments that people will be purchasing and touching. The sales clerks action made me feel unsafe, nervous and very uncomfortable since we are living in a COVID19 world I knew I had quickly do my return and leave the store. I mentioned my concern to another staff member who seemed to not care, she covered for her colleague saying she has asthma and can't wear a mask. I decide to make a call to head office to voice my concerns. I'm still waiting for someone to get back to me 3 plus weeks later. The Silence speaks volumes and says to me that Reitman does not care about its customers. Maybe my next stop is a call to Alberta Health. In my opinion this store needs to be visited by the health board I'm sure they will care. Shoppers beware!

Basically, just like every other BB&B, it's bright, stocked to the gills and filled with virtually everything conceivable that is homewares, linen, kitchen gadgets and so much more. I really can't comment too much on it, since it's the same at every one no matter where you go across North America (though I'm still looking for Christopher Walken to give me a magic remote control just like in the movie Click). I like going here from time to time, mostly to see what other type of gadget and tool is there to be had for my use, whether it be making industrial amounts of french fries to being able to make foie gras, halibut and bacon ice cream with their nuclear powered ice cream maker and automated car engine tuner. As for what's in the Beyooooonnndddd (echo echo echo), well, toys, discounted movies, candy and so on. While not exactly a great selection, the toys they do have are actually pretty tasteful and not the usual schlock stuff but something more high end (presently all kinds of Discovery Channel Kids science stuff, and I remember them selling kid versions of Night Vision goggles once or twice). Oh, and I do love the free demos of the coffee machines. While I own a Keurig myself, I find it so neat that I get ot have a ton of samples from the Nespresso and other machines, though they do get a little cross if you do try more than one...or six (sheepish look). Needless to say, I usually leave the BB&B pretty darn wired! Basically, this is a place I wouldn't visit often, but would be a place I would go to if I was doing a house or wedding registry and such. And off course, to go banshee on coffee. :)

Forever XXI is a mix between H & M and American Apparel. The clothes are designed for young, hip girls, and are supposedly sold at ridiculously cheap prices. I figured I should TRY to understand this store, so I recently went shopping at it and I now officially know that I have reason to not like it. The clothes are so ridiculously cheaply made it's not even funny. I bought a shirt for around $20, which really isn't all that cheap, and speaking of cheap, the belt loop hole fell off the second I took it out of the bag. I then tried it on, and noticed that the stitching is already coming undone!!! What a piece of crap. I didn't bother to take the shirt back because I didn't think it was worth me driving back to Balzac, but I did make a mental note to never shop at Forever XXI again.

Update - Went back this date as I had one bag for a week or so and in one area, it started to fall…read moreapart - no worries, manufacture defect. Brought the bag in to Cross Iron Coach where I bought it - the sales associate was very nice but she had to go and get a manager to approve the return. Fine. I got nothing but attitude from the female manager although I have 100 of their bags and never had to make 1 return, ever. She kept wanting to have it send out for repair, wanted to make me home office's issue for a greater profit return on my benefit, blah blah and soured me on getting a credit towards a new bag. I get it, you do not want to lose the sales number but life is life. I finally got my refund back onto my Visa and left. Not a good day Coach, but I still love you, minus that 1 manager.

Yup, I'm a fan!…read more I've loved Coach for over 20 years. And no, it's not for the cheaply made canvas factory bags that take up most of the real-estate in this, and other, outlet stores. It's for the vintage, and heritage line leather bags that made Coach so famous 40+ years ago. As well as for the silk scarves, colourful umbrellas, fabulous shoes and boots and chic costume jewelry. And when the real items, from the full priced stores hit an outlet at 60%... well now, I love it!! Oh - and I am also addicted to the adorable key chains! I probably have 20!

I admitted I had tried on the dress that had a sales tag on it and she told me that I wasn't allowed. I told her there was no sign saying otherwise. She was grimacing at me and shaking in place saying that I broke a cheap replaceable claw clip that was used as its 'hanger' . Lots of sarcasm and domineering attitude from this very young woman, saying "of course, just assume everything!" In a high pitched tone. if you want a fun experience, this is the opposite of the place you want to go. Terrible service, lackluster and dirty clothing available, store cleanliness in general is allergenic and dust filled. Dont waste your time.

They carry mostly DC, Billabong, Nikita, Etnies. There were some cute coats, nothing wowed me though. There was however these super cute little girl Roxy sweaters, for $60. This place even had Nixon and Skull Candy headphones. No one asked if I needed help at all. This place is very random.
