Love this place! They have two cats that are super friendly and love cuddles. The poke is fresh out of the ocean. Love the vibe here- a surf shop and they really highlight the local artists on the island. I bought a few pieces to bring home with me!

They are famous for their Poke bowl and it was very delicious. There were many options, fresh and tasty. The tuna was nicely seasoned and the toppings blended well with everything. Super friendly staff. Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Ambiance 4/5 | Price: 4/5

Small sized poke bowl, tuna- so good!

Absolutely awesome poke, friendly service and a great atmosphere. Plus, the softest cat I have ever petted graces this sweet surf shop/camp ground and Poke spot. Our family is from Seattle, loves poke and this was some of the best poke we've ever had, and generous portions too. Totally recommend.

Yellowfin tuna and salmon poke bowl. Literally the best bowl I've ever had. It was the best meal of my entire trip. Atmosphere was cool too.

Conveniently located right off highway between heading to Tofino or ucluluet A little overpriced and on the slower side. Staff is friendly and lots of options to choose from. Fish are delicious and toppings are great. Ask them about the sauce and in-house toppings that they make. They also have a small gift shop where you can get things like candles, soaps, souvenir, etc. They do have a cat running around so if you are allergic, beware. The cat was not shy. We got the salmon and tuna. I liked the salmon more than the tuna, but both was delicious

They were sold out of 2 of the 3 types of fish and unfortunately got mine and my partners order mixed up. I asked for 1/2 salad, and 1/2 rice but was given 2 massive scoops of rice and minimal salad. It was also pretty dry even though o requested ponzu sauce.

It was very pricey for what it was but probably Tofino standards but really hit the spot.

Glorious views of the stormy ocean before the night falls. The restaurant was serving the late night food menu which was good enough for us because we just wanted some tasty, fresh seafood. We got Negroni's, clams, cod cakes, seafood soup, and deep fried Mac and cheese. It was a little pricey so it was refreshing for the waitress to advise us to hold off on ordering an additional dish to what we had already ordered and she was 100% right. (If there was one other person then I'd be also recommending you to try the tuna dish.) As it was we took home the fried mac & cheese and heated it up in our kitchen suite for breakfast the next morning. It was still crispy on the outside and cheesy on the inside!

We dined at the restaurant 3 times during our 3-night stay at the resort - dinner for our first evening and breakfast on the following 2 days - and we enjoyed every visit. Dinner at the restaurant for my partner's birthday was an excellent choice. We loved our courses from starters all the way through desserts and coffee. Starters were tuna nicoise and asparagus soup with seared scallop. Tuna nicoise is a genius idea with all the best elements of a salade nicoise without the unnecessary greens. The soft boiled quail egg was an excellent touch. The succulent scallop was paired nicely with the rich base on the soup. For main courses, I had seared scallops (again) & calamari with angel hair pasta and my partner had herb crusted halibut. My scallops were again wonderfully succulent, calamari was light and crispy, and the side pasta was very tasty but not heavy at all. We had a wonderful meal by the window overlooking the ocean We were hoping to see a pod of orcas swimming by but we were not as lucky as the diners the week before. Despite the absence of marine mammal visits, the main courses are well worth the $30 / plate average.

We were confused. Our organizer's assistant had set this up. I was just along for the ride. What a ride it turned out to be. The reason they don't do tables of 8 became obvious when we realized that this was a 2 star Michelin star restaurant that didn't have the stars yet. Pretty hard to get the folks at Michelin to wander into Uculet BC. Trust me when I say - it doesn't matter if they've been anointed by the rubber tire makers, they qualify in any event. They graciously accommodated our slightly diminished group of 7 at one cobbled together table. This is a world class dining room entirely contained within the floor plate of a 20th century home. It likely holds about 20 people per seating. The kitchen pumps out tasty pieces of art. The artists studio is naturally designed for intimacy, not rambunctious conference attendees. They bent the rules and pushed the limits of the kitchen to ensure we all got to experience the service as designed. They pulled it off. The photos below give you a glimpse into the menu. It clearly ebbs and flows with the seasons, and they were also able to accommodate needed dietary restrictions. Claire, our lovely server, took the time to ask each of our names, and then used them correctly throughout the evening. We were no longer strangers, we were guests in this former home. It happened to be Claire's last night before she left on a personal hiatus. I hope they can find someone as lovely to replace her. The food was tasty and beautiful. The wine pairings were sublime (with one slight miss) and the chef's amuse bouche and little delights were woven into the experience in a way that surprised and delighted us throughout. If you enjoy world class, and you find yourself in Tofino or Uculet - make the effort and head over to Pluvio. 4.9/5

Only one thing- This place absolutely needs more review!…read more They have some of the mean bowls and we ended up trying two of them. Salmon and Kale, Pachamama bowl. 5/5. The squash, beetroot and kale were steaming hot from Pachamama. Thanks for adding shaved Brussels sprouts. That's my new favorite now. Salmon was cooked to perfection. Chips and Salsa didn't feel freshly made but still were surprisingly perfect that our kid gobbled it all. Just right seasoning ( which have been hit and miss in all other places for last couple of days) We also had vanilla and affogato. Parking- no dedicated parking lot. Street parking or public parking is the only option. Place is open till late and had definitely had lot of late nighters drinking. We ordered one drink - hibiscus margarita. It was well made. The service was quick and we saw dishes going out one after another too. The playlist this evening was the best part of our dinner! We were vibing at the songs loved by us 80s/90s kids. Thanks for playing all those songs I haven't listened in two decades. Only missing was a little space to shake our legs and dance away. Hope I get to return to try out more. If you are looking for restaurants in Tofino, please do stop by! I recommend it as a must try while you are here. P.S. I took the zoomed in photo of the bowls to give it a try in my own kitchen
